  1. The text translated : Waves you don't only see by the sea, grasses also move along with the wind.

    In Dutch the text rhymes?

Font Beyond Wonderland with a bevel

Papers Janet Scott ( I think)

I thik I set the nodes to tight, so some of my characters are a bit "lost".

I always have problems with using shadows even though I try to save the settings I use in workshops. I will review the shadows workshops again and maybe something will sink in.

I have the same problem. Yesterday I put a piece of paper on my windowsill and looked how the sahdow was and later on with thicker paper. If you see it "real" it looks like you understand the shadows better.

I even saved some shadows from workshops as a preset but with some projects it's still not looks ok, too much, too little, to dark etc ?

  3. Font is Beauty night butterfly

The bird came out of a scrapkit called Romantic Tea time set  from Creative fabrica Link

The text is in Dutch (duh) and says : Sometimes you find a picture and don't remember  where it is taken. We now think it's from the castle gardens in Arcen (Dutch village)

@Anja Pelzer Nice soft colors in that title. They match the page very well.

@Sue Thomas Thanks for pointing out that they were pine cones in the fill. The resizing of the image made it harder to identify what they were. That Red squirrel is adorable!

@Lesley Maple I'll have to find a way to get that effect in PSP!! Did you add shadows on the papers under the photo? I think it would add more definition, especially on a busy background.

@MoniqueN. Have you considered trying to add some shadows on the little elements inside the "Baby" title? I wonder if it would add some volume? Not a big shadow but just a little.

@Michele It is fun to see the fill on the top part of the text. A little unexpected but definitely in line with the theme!

@Susan Ewart I am curious to know what you put in the title. Are those confetti?

@Linda J Walker Glad to see that you are sharing the title on its own, even if the page is not ready.

@Julie Magerka The owl photo really makes me smile! For the title, since you have a patterned background, have you considered adding a little shadow on the letters as if they were cut out of papers?

@Linda Hitt Great way to customize a template. It is always a starting point, but the destination is often different!

@Hank Sobah I love how you layered that single fish on top of the title. It really gives it some depth too. Colorful concert page!

@nadine Nice idea to have the clouds on top of the fill! Templates are meant to be changed!!! ?

@Ann Seeber You might want to tweak the placement of the text as the overlapping with the decorative element is inconsistent. Maybe move the text a little downward or resize the decorative element a little to shift upward? That change in size for the title really gives that impression of jumping!!

@Cristina Due to the resizing, I am not sure so what did you use to fill the title? Are those confetti?

@Donna Sillia You filled the title with tiny Easter eggs, right?

@Louyse Toupin Did you place the scattered confetti and rotated a duplicate by any chance? It looks like there are two different types of shadows on them.

@Bonnie Ballentine What kind of pattern were you looking for?

@Corrie Kinkel Changing colors word by word is definitely another way to use this technique.

@Mary Solaas That yellow is really standing out! You might want to add (or add more) shadows on your papers to give them thickness.

@Pirkko Seppälä Awe... sweet photo!!! The whole family!

@Gerry Landreth Sand in the hair! that is no fun! But the picture is worth it!!!

@Carole I used picture tubes inside of the baby title, could they also have shadows? I never tried that ?

  5. A very simple lay out, but it doesn't need more I think ? Tried a mat and other things , but didn't like them much ?

When I added the gradient, I thought, this looks familiar, it looks a bit like the one I used on my granddaughters birth announcement I had the honour to make for sending to family and friends ?

I just found the cat in with the meercats! Ha ha!! Clever photo and nice use of the text. Love your colors. I recently discovered the sculpture effect and am floored as to its potential! Thanks, Cassel!

Oh, I just found it too, Ann!?

I decided to post right away before I see the wonderful work that others will produce. The layout here is simple, but it's a photo that always makes me smile.

I had to work on the outlined & filled text a couple of times before I got it to cooperate. Those layers mess me up sometimes....which one I AM on vs. which one I SHOULD be on!

The font is Titan One, and it's nice and thick for this purpose. I'd never used the Effects>Texture>Sculpture and was happy to try it. Nice effect.

I often rename my layers to keep track, otherwise I get lost too ?

I have knitted and crocheted a lot. My grandmother taught me to knit and crochet when I was very small. I've always loved doing that. Sewing, cross stitching, I did too, but not very much.
Due to osteoarthritis and osteoporosis I do that less now, but I always have a knitting or crochet project that I continue to work on now and then.
In the meantime I like to be busy on the PC, and I really enjoy being a member of the scrapbook campus. That's what I do most of the time in my free time.
Of course walking with my dog is very important, and then I always have my camera with me, or I use my smartphone. I can then use those photos in the scrapbook campus. Photography (hobby) is also something I have been doing for a long time.

osteoporosis.........me too........found out after I broke my upperarm and Tibia Plateau (scheenbeen plateau) within 4 months. ?

  10. Is there a difference between craft and hobby's/hobbies? When I translated it, it came out more as an "oldfashioned" occupation like furniture making or goldsmith ?

Hobbies? Too many! Since my childhood years I always made things with paper, fabric (dressing my barbie doll) , made dolls with cast and dress them in oldfashioned costumes etc etc.

Embroidery, card making, jigsaw puzzles and later, when the computer came in our lives, I made video's about our holidays, building websites etc etc. And since a year I have a Cricut cutting machine, very addictive!! And of course PSP ?

Sometimes I wish there were more hours in a day! ?

I like the Corrs, but they combine traditional with more current music. Planxty is one of my favorites; Christy Moore has an incredible voice.

Sorry, I meant, the Corrs aren't very traditional, but are a nice band. The chieftains are very traditional?

For the last 5 weeks, the Sunday newsletter from Creation Cassel has ended up in my spam folder. I use gmail so it is not because of my provider. And, I mark it as "not spam" every single time.

Looking at the different emails I receive, they actually don't all have the same sender info. So for me, the only one that gets caught in spam is the Sunday newsletter. All others come through fine.

It's so strange that one week they come into my inbox and other week in the spam folder? I mark it as no spam too every time it happens?
