Here is my contribution to this challenge. The photo is from a Biergarten we like to go to when the weather is nice and warm... not so much this year. I added Markus to the layout in a different way it is meant to be used, as I don't have a "real" Markus to take to places. ? I used a technique from the 2018 Popup Masterclass.7 points

Just playing with the September freebie and added it to a photo taken a couple of weeks ago when we were away for a few days. The photo is of Coughton Court (https://www.coughtoncourt.co.uk/). We have been here a few times but we were lucky to visit early so not many people around. Made fro a very pleasant day out. I did have to tinker with the photo though and remove a certain person from it so did a lot of cloning and a tad of artistic licence. Anyway, thanks for looking.6 points

My congrats to all the winners. I'm not worried about Marcus, He will find his way. ? I've been playing with the Particle plugin. I've discovered that there is an extra free packet to download. It's available inside the particle plugin. It's called 'Exclusive pack". The blue quartet is called 'Light" and is rather easy to control. It's nice playing for all those moments when someone is out of ideas or needs a rest from learning. It's yet nothing--- but nice to try to control this extra treat. One is better to control than the other. sometimes they fly all over the place but you can get it back in control. Good luck with it.5 points

Out of real bananas at this time; only have yellow cat toys shaped like a banana and filled with catnip! I thought about using one (we have 3) but they're all too grungy! ?4 points

I do this too. Sometimes I see a layout I love and just have to copy the idea. I think it is the teacher in me. A friend once told me, "Teachers are licensed thieves." I copied all sorts of ideas for lesson plans and for bulletin boards for 32 years. It has now carried over into retirement.4 points

Julie, I like the layout very much! I like a lot this kind of background paper. I have to remember to use them more often. I also love reading; I always have books and the Kindle on the bedside table.4 points

Isnt copying how we learn. Right from childhood, we see someone doing something so we copy it until we learn how to do it. Then once we are proficient at it, we put our own spin on it therefore creating our own style. Animals do this too. I've watched one Magpie try to get into one of the bird feeders. It kept at it until it could fly and land in it. Then several other ones started doing it too. After that, they taught the pigeons how to do it (I had stern words with them for that).3 points

Oscar the cat was chirping at something last night and Max and Jack (also cats) were watching. I didn't see what it was they saw so cannot say if it was Markus. I had so much fun with the Campus Dozen and learned some things too, which is always a plus. A big thank you for putting that together. Congratulations to all the winners.2 points

Sounds like I missed some games. I never saw those. Like you, I love learning all I can about PSP. It has so many nooks, corners and crannies. I have been at is since 2010 and am still learning things.2 points

tonight my cat was running from window to window....I think Markus was outside, I'll have a look for him tomorrow.... the party was fun, I absolutely love the Treasure Hunt. It was fun to check in at the forum every couple hours. And I always love the bingo game. The Multiple choice game was really interesting. So many things I didnt know. Would love to see the questions and answers again. It was fun to guess at them and sometimes guess right.2 points

I have no sense of direction. Could you please give me the link so I can download them, too? Pretty please.1 point

Thank you Suzy. I don't think they own it now but I might be wrong. I should have paid more attention to the guides but was more engrossed with looking around.1 point

I like how you used punches on multiple layers. Great idea!1 point

Ann, I tried to locate it from where I've downloaded them but cannot find it anymore. I thought it was in one of the newsletters, but now I am not sure anymore.1 point

I'm in. It's been 2 years since I did this the first time. I do like the spare, clean look of the format. Looking forward to the Extra templates for some variety. Now to figure out what to showcase! ?1 point

That's just perfect, Sheila! Is Coughton Court still the home of the Throckmortons? There was a daffodil show there for at least a few years, maybe 2014-2018? because the American, Dr. TomThrockmorton, was a Daffodil VIP and breeder. I think they wanted to get a broad array of his originations growing there for display purposes.1 point

I finally got around to using one of Cassel's magazine templates from the Publish It challenge several years ago. The sketch is from Hayden Williams, my favorite fashion illustrator. The font is Vonique 64 (free, probably from DaFont) and the bar code is an edited version of the one Sue Thomas shared a while back.1 point

Guess I'll be posting my Travel Challenge balance of pages in the "What are you working on..." forums, cause it's going to take me into October (maybe even November) to finish. Then, there is that Alphabet Challenge from 2022 that I still have 3 more to do - X, Y, Z. Here is page 10 and 11. All my own papers and elements. Having fun with the leather tag making and decided to do some flare buttons too.1 point

Yet another layout inspiration I saw online. I didn't scraplift it entirely, just the basic idea. Background paper is from the Lilypad, a set of Fusion papers called "For Art's Sake". Then added the elements & text for the theme of books. Nothing much is mine, except the frame. I do love books and reading and do it whenever I find time. I met a man in a book club once who worked in an automotive assembly plant. He had a book with him all the time as he worked. If he could complete his part of the assembly in less time than allotted, he would read as much as he could, even if it was only 30-40 seconds at a time. I think that's amazing. (The quote is from Stephen King.)1 point

After the Q&A session last night I tried to find ParticleShop but via 'Effects', I still couldn't find it. With PSP, however, Painter was included so I opened Painter 7 and found the Speckle brushes and so so much more. Don't know why I hadn't looked at it before. Maybe thinking too much to learn. I Speckled away and think there must be so much we can do with it. Thank you for mentioning ParticleShop in the Q&A.1 point

Many of you will know what the very first tutorial I did when I first joined the campus, and that was the Flair Button, in the creative scrap. This page, I did for a challenge, where you had to create a page using 20 of the same element. Such as buttons, flowers, ribbons etc. I chose to do 20 flair buttons. In this page there are other techniques used found in the blog, masterclasses, and creative scrap. Extractions, text on a curve, blend modes, creating gradients, shadowing.1 point
