This is one of my old projects from a 2018 challenge. Unfortunately, the original pics don't show in the older forum threads so we can't see the inspiration layout that Cassel posted.9 points

This is a result of the SCRIPTING course https://scrapbookcampus.com/paintshop-pro-scripting-course/ I am currently taking. This was in the beginning (lesson 2 of 25 lessons). Now I will be able to tweak the script to have the user choose their own color as we just learned how to make it interactive with the materials palette opening for the user to choose a color, pattern or gradient for each circle. So cool! We are now at lesson 7, I wonder what surprises await us.7 points

Another Christmas webinar by Carole. This was from 2019 where we we shown how to make a transparent Bauble with an element inside. I love to make elements. The bow was made using one of Carole's bow scripts. The pine branch was using a tube from?? and the lights were tubes by Carole. The image of the Robin was my own photo. TFL.7 points

Many of you will know what the very first tutorial I did when I first joined the campus, and that was the Flair Button, in the creative scrap. This page, I did for a challenge, where you had to create a page using 20 of the same element. Such as buttons, flowers, ribbons etc. I chose to do 20 flair buttons. In this page there are other techniques used found in the blog, masterclasses, and creative scrap. Extractions, text on a curve, blend modes, creating gradients, shadowing.6 points

I've learned so, so much since I joined the Campus! And, no end in sight. ? Here is a layout I created years ago to practice 3 tutorials from the Lab06-Module 05 (Cartoon Words - Burst Shape - Half-tone pattern) LAB 06-Module 05 For the Super-Hero doll, I used a technique from the Masterclass Pop-Up Pop-Up Masterclass6 points

Just finished relooking at the Grunge Magic MasterClass with all those creative ideas. I tried out one but as I am on PSP 2021, I understand from the class that the Brush Variance size increments are not effective until PSP version 2023. However I used the Bokeh brush instead for my example and finished off with the Mosaic Texture Effect and got quite an interesting design as a result.5 points

The day's are now becoming noticeably shorter. The migratory birds are also on the move. This morning a beautiful Philadelphia Vireo called in. They are generally uncommon, and this one, was the first one I have ever seen. Many of the birds are difficult to ID at this time of year, as many of then are dull in Autumn, and the young ones, don't have adult breeding plumage until next Spring. I used one of a-dozi's brushes from Sunday's masterclass on the background paper, which is a gradient I created. For a change I used the slip in photo technique, and also slipped 3 of the tags (my own tag) under too. Also I used one Carole's new punches. Once again, the date stamp script didn't work, so I created my own template.4 points

Trying to work a bit more regularly on some kind of layout when I have the time. I saw one I liked on Curio Pantry so I thought I'd try something similar. I'm neither a photographer nor a scrapbooker, so I really need some kind of inspiration (or push). It's so-o-o hot here, temperatures higher than all through the summer, but my thoughts are already on autumn and its marvellous colours. The only things that are mine are the photo - my niece's daughter many years ago - the strips of coloured paper with the ends cut out (one with Carole's new punches which I just HAD to have), and the "tag" at the bottom. Everything else is from somewhere online.4 points

Love this. Had good laugh at the treat section. I must remember to wear sunglass when viewing daffodils!2 points

There are 12 years of content, tutorials, classes, and members' participation! Although the old forum photos didn't carry over to the new one, the forum is still available as an archive with the photos!2 points

It is even hard to imagine what I would do 10 years down the line. When I started the Campus, it was just a little side hustle. I still had a full-time job and still had young adult children at home. Now, I am an empty nester and retired from my job, which allows me more time to be with you all! Let's go for another 10-12 years!2 points

Thanks, for all you do for all of us. I plan on trying to do everything listed. I really enjoyed the treasure hunt the last time even if I did need some hints on a couple of things.2 points

That book is really great. Written by one who did grow up in Brooklyn. I spent my first 7 years in New Jersey (Just across the river from New York City) and remember going through the Holland Tunnel into New York City with my dad and mom. I remember seeing the New York World's Fair (1939); I remember Chile's Restaurant (?); I remember looking up at the tall buildings; I remember; I remember coming into NYC around Christmas time and the wonderful window and toy displays at that time (always love the toy trains); there were cobble streets when we saw the Macy's parade and my dad lifted me up on his shoulders from those cobble streets in order to see better. Michele, you have put me on a memory lane visit .....2 points

I think I actually joined in 2020 so I'm in my 4th year here and it has been incredible! I already posted New Kid on the Block from my first Boot Camp. Congratulations on 12 years, Carole! I'm hoping to win your book: "Remember When...?"2 points

What an achievement, @Carole Asselin. Did you ever, in your wildest dreams, think the site would become this successful? I always look forward to your treasure hunts.2 points

It's is a great milestone. Congratulations Carole. You've built a really incredible and special space for all of us. And you spoil us with so many freebies, classes, workshops and countless hours of being there for us when we need you. Thank you for...well..YOU! I plan to do as many activities as I can. I cant bring a #12 because none of my computers have a camera. I am looking forward to the treasure hunt. I always love that one.2 points

So what will you be doing this week with the Campus Dozen activities? Will you come to the Party? Join the Treasure Hunt? 12 years of existence is a great milestone for any online hub, don't you think? Let's chitchat about it.1 point

For our 12th-year Anniversary Celebration, we will be hosting a TREASURE HUNT for you and add an entry to win great prizes. All the clues will be available on this page, on September 7th. If you are stuck, you can ask questions in this thread. To keep it interesting, I would ask that nobody give the direct answers or the direct URL for any clue. I don't want anyone to get frustrated, but I also want you to visit the Campus (don't worry, there is no walking involved). Have fun!1 point

Thanks Susan. The Cornish and the Welsh people of South Wales, share a very long history with each other. The Cornish mined the Tin, and they would ship it to the steel works in Port Talbot to be smelted. There they picked up the Welsh language. Cornwall developed it's Cornish language, derived from the Welsh Language. The page was a fun one I created for my daughter-in-law, Emma, as she Cornish. The story about Bryn, is although true, Emma's mother adopted the dog from Hungary. I got to name him, Bryn, is a popular boys name. It's also Welsh for hill, or mount. Pen y Bryn in English means top of the hill. The Cornish people regard themselves as Celtic (which they are) and not English. Even though Cornwall is in England. I've spent a lot of time in Cornwall over the years, and will be there again for Christmas this year. Emma's brother is a fitness and rehab instructor, and her mum enjoys gin. Hence the fictitious amusing stories.1 point

Like so many of us, I joined before there was a Diamond Membership. When I joined I subscribed to the Creative Scrap. I can remember clearly, I needed to know how to create something pertaining to a scrapbook layout, as I wasn't a scrapbooker back then. You replied, asking me to hold off until a specific date, as you were about to launch the Diamond membership. I believe I might have been one of the first Diamond Members.1 point

For sure! I also want to congratulate you for the first 12 years! It was my lucky day to find you on Corel's freebie page! ?1 point

I have date stamps 8 and 10. Carole and I tested them several times, in fact I have 4 test scripts of each. The outer text doesn't align correctly. It's OK, I make my own templates, which I can edit and use over and over. The top right is a Palm Warbler (Dendroica palmarum), below is a Yellow Warbler (Dendroica petechia), and the one below the Philadelphia Vireo is a Yellow- rumped Warbler (Dendroica coronata) . More and more birds are arriving daily. Out in the trees it's a bird watchers paradise. Thrushes, Yellow shafted Flickers, native sparrows, finches, Siskins, fly catchers to name but a few. So many warblers and Vireos. A Tennessee Warbler and a Warbling Vireo arrived yesterday too. The trees went silent when the Orioles, Robins, and the blackbirds left about 10 days ago. Now, the trees as full of song again. I will showcase them all in time, many of which I will post. I did post the full sized page on facebook, but then they compress files.1 point

I planted a golden rod plant this year as reminiscent of my parents' garden. I will have to have a closer look at it for little bugs. These photos are amazing.1 point

I began this layout some time ago. I often let them sit and go back to them with renewed energy. I played with this on a long time. I placed the text above the background paper, which I made. Then I used the burn blend mode. I think the text looks like it is a part of the background...not just sitting on top. The original color of the text affected how each blend mode appeared. I changed the colors many times.1 point

Finally finished! I decided to use my grandson's pictures from his stay at a river fish farm in Vietnam. I didn't have a lot of pictures, but I made some fish using Filter Forge filter "Aquaria." The water picture is AI from Adobe Express. The map is from a photo that David sent me when he sent the fish farm picture. The font is a grunge font called "sailor 1 grunge." I couldn't divide it in half because I placed the map in the middle. Papers are mine; two columns are a gradient.1 point
