My hat is off to all who participated in this challenge. I've loved seeing all of your pics.5 points

I have completed all 52 weeks, posting week 52 a few days early. I have thoroughly enjoyed participating in this challenge. It has given me the opportunity to post many of my favourite chosen weekly photos, without having to create detailed showcasing pages. When a photographer, even an amature like myself, takes the time and effort of aiming to capture the best image one can, is rewarding. Well done to everyone who has participated, giving us a glimpse into your lives, through your photography, whilst showing of your photography skills. All the photos I have posted have been my own, without any post enditing.5 points

I used Carole's script for the patchwork Christmas tree, added some picture tube strings of stars and some gold snowflakes from my winter stash. The wordart is from my Christmas stash. I tucked some packages under the bottom of the tree to create the illusion of a base. After I created the tree I grouped it so I could add a shadow.5 points

We have had more snow in December than we have had in the previous 4 years. Of late I have been pre occupied with photography, and other outdoor stuff.4 points

Nice, I don't have time to do much scrapping this week but I try to keep up with the things that are posted! I see that you have unpacked your Anna Aspnes goodies too!4 points

Here is Design 1 of my Christmas cards that didn't get to the print test page. This would be on the outside of the card, the insides never even got designed. I'll post this also on FB as it might appear really dark here. Soon as I saw this quote I had to do it for my Nephew. Hope it doesnt offend anyone. I added a white-ish(textured) border so you could see it. I was going to use the paper as a white border going on a grasscloth textured dark desaturated brown cardstock (from Bazzill). I'll post the next 4 designs over the next four days.4 points

It does feel good, Susan! One less layout to complete. 🙂 Sometimes, I go a different route from when I started, but in this case, it was more to resize the photos and add a few extra touches, and it was done.3 points

Thank you, Ann! I took the background color from the photo. I tried other colors, but this is the one I liked best.3 points

I very much appreciate your kind words, as I do anyone elses. I will use this photo in next year's cards, as I have a policy of always using last year's photos in next year's calendars, and cards.3 points

@ Sue I'm glad to see you back and was starting to get a little worried by your absence. Those 4 photos are fantastic and give a nice glimpse of the winter in your neck of the woods!3 points

A fabulous winter scene. The red of the wheel is a perfect contrast to the snow and trees. I love it. Am glad you're posting again - I've missed your photos.3 points

We still have that same foggy grey and sometimes very wet weather as the last 4 or 5 weeks. Only yesterday we had a short period of sunshine, but alas I had a couple of appointments and a lot of things to do, so very little time to enjoy it. Therefore again I have experimented some more and this is the result. I used this plant Nandine Obsessed in week 49 too but now I zoomed in on the foliage and changed the light setting to stage light with gave this result.2 points

One of the times it shut down on me, I wasn't working in the program. In fact, I wasn't even on my computer. I had the program open but not working on anything. My doorbell rang so I went to answer the door. When I came back and wanted to start working in PSP, the program was completely closed down. I swear I have ghosts living in my computer at times that just like messing with me.2 points

I too learned to save frequently, but I have not observed that temp files are saving all the time and I don't see anything like you said on the bottom of my screen either. So maybe we should have a good look in the settings, often it happens to be something that is on instead off.2 points

Isnt it a great feeling to finish something that was unfinished. What a beautiful quote. I always find it so neat to look at where people live and think, hey, the nature there looks just like the nature where I live. same grasses, same trees. Those photo could be in anywhere in the provinces (Canada) I've lived in.2 points

Sorry to say this didn't work for me. For one, all text came in as one long line and while trying to fix that, it would crash. Every single time.1 point

Yes, once in a while, they wake up! 😉 When it happens, do you have the option to "Clear the window" (or some wording like that) at the bottom? I think that it sometimes, just remembers your last post and THINKS that you were not finished so it tries to help you. Check at the bottom of the box for a link to clear or delete.1 point

It is so nice when the work you put in turns out to be so fantastic! I know that feeling when you get a book/album printed and it turns out just as you wanted it to be, especially when it is such a precious gift. It will be great to see their faces when daddy opens his present. Enjoy!!!!1 point

Some time ago (maybe a year?) I bought a Wacom Intuous Pro on sale. First I chose the large, but it was too big for my workspace so I returned for a smaller one (size S-M I think). It is easy to install and use, just need to tweak a few settings after the installation. I like using it, but the secret to it is to use it ALL THE TIME. No more mousing. I've not been able to do that yet, but I keep telling myself I will. When I feel a bit rushed or impatient, I just reach for the mouse and then the habit is broken again.1 point
