A friend raked her leaves into a big pile and the neighborhood kids came over to jump in the leaves. Looks like everyone had a blast. Font is Apple Butter. Background is a blurred photo.7 points

I noticed this challenge first thing this morning. I have been out all day, which gave me time decide on a topic, and a layout. I had already decided which bingo line I was going to use. This evening I created the page. The button was one I created for a previous challenge, duplicated, colourized. By the way it hurt to tear the photo. I have to say, I love those new punch brushes.4 points

Decided to play with Cassel's Echo Text Mask-Family Sampler. I played with various group photos, but this seemed to work the best. This is a great portrait of my granddaughter and her husband from earlier this year. It turned out like a Word Art comp. The font for the title and side info is Ravie. Now I'll acquire the script so I can customize it.3 points

You photograph beautifully, Sue. What I'm particularly interested in is the font name of the title3 points

Hello Carole and members, I'm still very happy about winning Diamond membership and I'm really interested in PSP and participating here in the forum, but age is taking its toll. My husband (hemiparetic for 20 years, but no need for nursing care) and I have been having increasing health problems for a year. We now increasingly have various appointments away from home and, due to various health policy challenges, we also experience frustration and therefore a need for rest. At the moment I want to concentrate on my course and learning PSP, which I love and a welcome distraction. I read along in the forum, but I don't feel like joining in the discussion. Once I've completed the courses and a few lessons and our appointments have been completed and "suffered", then I can get involved in the forum a little more. So it's not a lack of interest, but simply a lack of time and concentration at the moment. Anyone who would like is welcome to pray for us. Thank you. Doska2 points

Good question. Based on the templates provided, the image will end up horizontal, about 2400x1700 pixels. If you have a recent version of PSP, you will be able to enlarge photos that might be a bit too small.2 points

It is almost not funny, but I decided yesterday on the same bingo as Sue! It appears we are very often thinking along the same lines, sorry Sue but I had made this layout before I noticed yours. I had a busy day today and only now have the time to post mine. After choosing the photo's I wanted to use I made the meli-melo paper from 2 photos of the heather. Again just like Sue I don't like to tear my photo, so I only made one on the edge of my photo. I have created a couple of buttons and just chose one and adjusted the color, made the postmark and the uneven stitching which took me a long time. In the end I realized that I had a fill set on the pen tool!!! The edge punch is one of a series I downloaded quite some time ago and I haven't a clue where I got them. The frames are by Marissa Lerin, the postage stamp I created using my script and the font is Bremlin.2 points

I had birthday cards to make for two people. I ran out of gas after the first one so I simply changed the name. Don't tell anybody. All the butterfly stuff comes from CF. I used a bunch of layers and a mask from Mask by Ginny. The font is Octagon Calligraphy.2 points

I love how you altered the decorations on the corners into the ones on the title! Again you have such an eye for detail.2 points

I am providing you with a card with 24 elements that can be included in a layout. You can make a bingo by using any element in a straight line that would make a bingo, whether it is a horizontal line, a vertical line, or a diagonal line. That means that you have to include 5 (or only 4 if you use the FREE in the center) elements in your layout. Of course, you can have more than one bingo if you want to create more than one layout. Once you post your layout, tell us what 4-5 elements from the Bingo card you are using (it is just easier for everyone to check on you! ? ) So, here is your card, for November 2023. If you are a DIAMOND member and want to create those elements, you are more than welcome. All the elements listed have a tutorial inside the membership. If you don't have access to those tutorials, or if you don't want to do anything from scratch, you can also use ready-made elements. There is no rule for or against that. The only rule: have fun and be creative!1 point

I also miss Annie Tobin. We had many private interactions of the years. Another person I miss greatly is Vickie Richards. She is still around, but not active. Aren't we all still learning, I hope we never stop either.1 point

I gladly admit that you are one of the persons that have greatly influenced me together with Annie Tobin, who I still miss very much. We had some private contact too. Of course today I see more things that catches my eye and I then think what can I do with this or that. I'm still learning every day I do another project and that's why I like this weekly challenges here in the Campus, besides the things like cards that I do for specific purposes. When I look back to when I first started scrapping I hardly recognize my first attempts. Practice doesn't make perfect yet, but it certainly helps!1 point

thank you, I wanted to know this too. It will help decide on photos. I do want to do the cameras and tie it in with my almost finished Magazine workshop. So some of the photos will be used again, but I wanted to add some more.1 point

Sue I love the photos of your fungi and mushrooms. I'm glad that I at least had chosen another topic for the photos.😉1 point

Long before we moved to Canada. I had a fascination for the world of fungal. I bought books, reading as much as I could about them. As the UK has a wet climate, fungal thrives there, particularly in ancients forests. I used to have a way with words, but over the years my literacy skills have diminished, mainly because if you don't use a skill, you loose it. Plus, my memory isn't as good as it once was. Mycology is the study of fungi and mushrooms, like botany is the study of plants. Here on the dry Prairies finding fungi, is a challenge, but they are here, hidden beneath the leaf litter, waiting for the right moment to explode into a myriad of colours.1 point

That is how we all learn, through trial and error. Tenacity, persistence, patience along with encouragement will pay off, with rewarding results. It isn't always an easy technique to master, to obtain that realistic effect, that we all know isn't real. As Carole said it is fantasy.1 point

I tried many ways but above the keyboard the screen had to be huger. Onrealistisch high. The top of the train disappeared. OOB's are surrealistisch but a big part must be realistic. Making your own Mock-up is faster than to find something on the internet. I found that keyboard as pgn. But again I'm a step further in learning OOB's. another time I make one with the top as oob and not the side. Before I have a perfect one????????? Every try I run into someone else. But every attempt is a good exercise.1 point
-
Great choice of topic, trains, lorries and heavy equipment make for great OOB. I wonder how it would look if the train and track was above the keyboard. Good idea to create your own mock-up.1 point

I am also in! Every year, I make a calendar to give to my mother-in-law, as she likes and expects. She likes something cute and something she can laugh about... So, that's what I have in mind when choosing images at Pixabay/Unsplash/Pexels... It's getting difficult to find something new in this category. 🙂1 point

I just saw this video of a bear stealing this Taco Bell delivery and I just had to share this little page here. The pics were screenshots from the video. I have no idea if it was O K to do this, but what the heck, it cant be any worse than the way things are shared all over facebook etc. I made no attempt to add shadows or anything, I just had to do this for the Fast Food theme. Apparently we humans are not the only ones that enjoy a little fast food home delivery.1 point

We'll all be here in whatever way you need us. We are a very close community and are always willing to help when we can. Take your time. PSP won't go anywhere, but if PSP can be your relief, let it be.1 point

When I think of Fast Food, my mind automatically goes to Hamburgers and Fries. Although we don't care for McDonald's, I do love a good burger! Our favorite burger place is Huey's! I created my own papers and used elements from Pixel Scrapper. The heart was from Rebecca's Kit: Enamel Heart, and the button was from Avivia Elements Button 2. The word strips came from Food Day Pizza Word Strips.1 point

You might have noticed the chatbot at the bottom of the Campus pages (not the forum though), and a handful of visitors have used his services. Some are just saying "hi", some have valid questions about their account. I tend to review all the conversations, in case someone needs help beyond what Markus is trained to do. Today, I came up with an... interesting conversation. Here is the screenshot (it is anonymous so I am not sure who will have lunch). I never "trained" Markus in the kitchen, so he is already "kitchen-smart" 🙂1 point

I'm in too and very glad we do another one this year. It will be my 4th time and I have made a lot of different ones as gifts. This year I will use the flower photos from my trip to the States. There are a whole bunch of flowers we, over here, don't know or only have as houseplants. A friend to whom I send some of the photos was already speculating: "a new calendar?" So no pressure.............. I have them in a separate folder already and I'm ready to go.1 point
