Annie Tobin Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 A beautiful tribute to your mum Corrie ... blue is such a peaceful and calm colour and the bunch of flowers is so very sweet. Well done Hon. :D

Cristina Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Anne and Corrie, such lovely layouts to honor the memory of the loving moms! Sheila, it is probably much easier for you to work with this tool than it will be for me! : ) All your previous paintings were great, and this one is no different; I love the result. Ann, what a cute layout. I like the font. Minka, a very important subject... Older or younger have been greatly affected by the pandemic, but thanks to the vaccine, there's light at the end of the tunnel. Good wishes to the kids and parents.
Cristina Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Anne Lamp, thank you for your kind comment on my page. It is very much appreciated. <3
Cristina Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Annie, you are so sweet! ...You always have words of appreciation, incentive, and encouragement to each one of us. Thank you so very much, my friend! <3
Michele Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Made this several years ago during Cass's Love Story Challenge. It seemed appropriate to share it for Mother's Day.
Sheila Hogg Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Thank you Annie and Christina. Lovely layouts Minka and Michelle, in fact lovely layouts all around by everybody..
Ann Seeber Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Used the kit offered this month and a photo from my Facebook group. I added "greenery" which isn't green and a PSP frame called Ice.
Ann Seeber Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 I also created a new Art Media background for my Wood Duck design, using the palette knife, twirl and blur utilizing colors from the duck.
Anne Lamp Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Cassel- Yes I did create it elsewhere and pasted it in here. I figured that was why it was wonky. I will try to do it right the next time. Oh well, Live and learn.
Corrie Kinkel Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 I continue the country theme. This is Switserland and I had to make it from scratch, I couldn't find a template, but in a holiday bbrochure I found the outline and used that to make the four masks where I put the alpine flowers. The background is a photo and the border is made from a ribbon which I decorated with the little flowers and then the mitered corner script. A bow in the colors of their flag. This LO is for my daughters mother-in-law who loved my Holland LO; I will print it and send it to her.
Bonnie Ballentine Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Corrie, I get a lot of stuff from Creative Fabrica. Once they offered a one month membership for $1...unlimited downloads. That's where I got the silhouette for my Virginia template. I'll keep an eye out for you to see if they offer country silhouettes...they are large and easy to work with. Creative Fabrica also gives away 3 freebies each day, if you sign up...one craft, one font and one other graphic. Clean png may also have something.
Bonnie Ballentine Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 I used the Starburst script to create this. Just another day of pickleball.
Bonnie Ballentine Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 These two hung out at the courts for awhile. They were interested in the activity but did not ask to join us. Template Lab 11-05.
Annie Tobin Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 So lovely Michele ... a beautiful tribute to the woman you called Mom ... love it. :D
Annie Tobin Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Ann, great job on both the Mesmerizing Waves and the Wood Duck. The background for the Wood Duck is a beautiful blend to promote the photo. Well done my friend. ;D
Annie Tobin Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Truly lovely Corrie and the frame is soooo sweet. Well done dear friend. :D
Annie Tobin Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Great work on all of them Bonnie but this one is undoubtedly my favourite. Cleverly showcased my friend. :D
Bonnie Ballentine Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Thank you, Annie. Praise from you is highly sought after! Which one is your favorite?
Annie Tobin Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 The newest pickleball fans. You manage to put things together in such an understated and yet very effective manner. Your work never detracts from the star ... the photo/s. In fact your work is the epitome of the saying 'less is more'. Well done Bonnie, I love them. ;D
