you still have a week to catch up if you need to, or that long to change your mind
speaking of which, now that I see my open book page 5 & 6 in the forum, I would like to shift page 6 to the right; it appears too tight to the binding. I usually create on separate pages; the double size slows down my renderings, though I have on occasion, @Marie-Claire, made a 7200 and then split it by duplicating the whole so I could crop for each side for the open book.

Mr. Red has been kept busy landing on many different spots.
I know you call the hat "Mr." but I think of it as Mrs. since all I've ever known of the RH group is female. Do you have male members? I really have to find out if there's a group near me; this looks like so much fun! ?

But I just remembered I also have to clean the basement. I hate when housework interferes with my PSP time!
Makes me sort of glad I don't even have a basement... ? Odd, photos being too big is never a problem, whereas too small used to be until PSP got its AI act together.

Ann, the link worked for me, the download button was on the black background upper right corner of screen for me.
@Susan Ewart Actually, I saw that and disregarded it because I didn't need it last time. Thanks~

I'm sharing them here.
@bina greene Your link only gives me the option to copy the filenames. The one you posted earlier worked fine and I viewed your work. Not sure why this one isn't working for me...

This is page 5 - visiting Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. I incorporated the stamps to showcase the many photos I was given. Thanks to Gerry for the inspiration! I used the cass-Scattered Photos script but had to re-arrange everything anyway, but it gave me a start. The background is another photo from the aquarium but with a layer effect of Luminance (Legacy) which allowed the colors of the scatter to stand out.I will now do page 6 and incorporate it with this one into another Open Book layout.

I haven't seen them in real life either. Only on pictures. It seems like a great experience.
When I was a child we'd capture them in Mason jars and create little lanterns.

Hi, I keep getting more issues. I was adding text to my project as a vector in a selected space. That was fine, however, when I duplicated the layer, (as I was using a font not installed on my system & my intention was to turn the copy into a raster) it removed the line returns and stretched it out in one line. I did one duplication with the selections ants on and one duplication with the selection ants turned off, and both times the returns were removed. I have never had this issue before. As Corel support said to forward any more issues I find, I sent it to them. I also recorded the issue, then did the same in PSP 2021 where there is no issue, but was unable to send the recordings as they are too large. I hope they tell me a way to send the files to them, so they can give it to their tech team to resolve. Has anyone else come across this?
@Corrie Kinkel Here's the OP for this issue. Both Sherie and I had the same thing happen. Cassel said it did show up in Beta testing so the issue is not unknown.

I decided to do a cutout for the word Robin.
@Sue Thomas On my screen that word looks puffy rather than cut-out. Maybe it's the shadowing? ?

We had that issue when beta testing the new update, but not since we have it installed. Your version is 25.2.0.58?
Yes, that is my version, also. One thought: I seem to have these troubles when working on a template converted from a PSD. Since I know Adobe doesn't support bounding boxes for text, and even though I've converted it to a .pspimage, could that be partly why there's an issue?

@Sherie Dracup Yes, it happened to me today in my 2023 Ultimate. Exact same behavior. I deleted the vector text layer completely and ended up typing in the copy line by line. The issue seemed to be the bounding box which, as you described, suddenly stretched out horizontally. ?

Wanting to feel like I'm making some progress, I'll post my page 3, just finished. I'm always hesitant with embellishments, preferring to showcase the photos themselves. Here daughter, Laurey, and granddaughter, Jackie, find the young rhino hilarious at the Toronto Zoo! Font is Bauhaus. Changed the background gradient.

As promised; here are my date stamps and a tag. I haven't done very much and it seems a general feeling for a lot of us. For me it was an unexpected busy week; our son had his birthday and we went over there for the day, it is about a 90 minutes drive with very busy traffic most of the way (I know for Americans/Canadians that is just around the corner). Then there came extra doctor's appointments for my husband and myself, nothing to worry about but it costs a lot of time because we have to go to town for it. Searching for a present for a friend who will be turning 80 shortly and we will celebrate with a lunch in a very posh restaurant in 2 weeks time. That resulted in another trip into town, because we couldn't find what we were looking for locally. Then in the evenings I had videocalls with my daughter and with the grands because that is the only timeframe when there is a time difference of 9 hours. And last but not least I had a spell of dizziness and wasn't able to even come out of bed for most of that day, but I don't complain it will be okay. It only means I'm hopeless behind and I'm doing the scripting course too..... I postponed lesson 4 until next week and concentrate on the Travel layouts first this weekend, at least if all goes according to plan!
I have seen very lovely and diverse layouts being posted when I had a look.
@Corrie Kinkel Now you know why I do most of my "shopping" on Amazon. ? I'm just a good customer of Amazon that they generally send orders overnight without any extra cost. I must live near one of their hubs. The City of Middletown is only 5 minutes away from here at Eagles Point Condos and we have a horse farm across the road. I do hope your dizzy spell is nothing serious. I get them from time to time, weirdly when I lay down - not when I'm upright. Your date stamps and leather tag look great. I'd suggest a smaller hole for the tag, or just add a rivet (grommet) to fill in. They're in the Tubes in metallic and color. I still haven't finished pages 3 and 4 so I'm not much ahead of you. Life keeps getting in the way!

I have made another layout for day 3 and 4, but I incorporate the different day-tutorials in my layouts. I simple call them by the subject inside the layouts. So this is the one I made for my one day in San Francisco before we went on the plane to Phoenix. I'm going to use date stamps on all layouts and will try to post them later. I made the papers and used different techniques and textures like blinds, halftone; overlays too. The color palette I used for my first 2 layouts is called mineral tones and the fonts are Impact, Bilderberg and Arial. For the coming layouts I intend to use a different color palette, because the photos have very different colors. For all the text and arrows etc I use the colors of the states I'm in.
@Corrie Kinkel What a beautiful layout for San Francisco! ❤️ Brings back memories for me from when we were visiting my California family. I loved it out there and truly enjoyed the bridge, the trolley, Fisherman's Wharf, the Ghirardelli Chocolate display and the Tea House in the park near the Presidio. You are inspiring me to get working on the rest of my Toronto layouts as I have a ton of photos to display. I like your fishy ribbon, I recognize the fish as a Tube. Well done!

Yes, I do seek out clusters, what a time saver! I have to admit when I have QPs I tear them apart and make templates! ?

Here are two datestamps I did with scripts for Lesson 3.
And here are two tags I made for Lesson 4; the flag of Canada and the CN Tower in Toronto. I'll add cords or chains when I know where I'm placing them.
@Cassel I followed the written directions in the email and didn't watch the video until after these were done. The technique in the video is completely different from what I did. ?

See... they really are evil bugs. They are masters of disguise, I lived most of my life on the West coast and never saw one.....for that, I'm eternally grateful. thanks for taking the time to do some research, now I know just which areas to avoid. I can imagine if I was walking along and saw a "stick" move I'd jump out of my skin.
@Susan Ewart Don't know if you are familiar with an art "installation" called the Spiral Jetty that was created back in the 1960s on the edge of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. The "artist" was Robert Smithson and he was well known in those days for his innovative creations that were, even then, addressing climate change. Well, he's the "boy" who lived upstairs from me in New Jersey who brought home the Mantis cocoon and thrilled his mother with thousands of baby bugs on his porch. ?

Yikes Ann! They are mutant bugs. They are freaky. I have never seen one, not even in a zoo. Of course we might even have them here, they are masters of subterfuge (SP?). See, they are evil....mutant evil bugs! kidding, it's really cool you get to see them. I must ask (with toes curling upward) how big are the invasive ones.
@Susan Ewart Here's the official data from National Geographic in this image.

As I speculated, I did change my final Open Book Page 5 & 6, by swapping the pages. I also rearranged the Ripley's Aquarium page by centering the top label and the bottom Stingray date stamp. Plus, I moved some of the stamps around to put the stingray photos near that date stamp. I also enlarged the postcard and the leather tag.
