I enjoyed this workshop last time so much that I'm thinking perhaps I could create an ALPHA using my own creations here...5 points

I had to try my hand at that Adamski effect. This is a sunset beach scene from Unsplash (Alvin Mecenau), and one that I put through motion blur and radial blur several times, then put it in Vision FX through PSP 2023 Ultimate - not sure if it is exactly the Adamski effect, but this is my result (I put my silhoutte on the finished project since I had removed the original lady.3 points

Hi everyone, I am in, too. I'm a typography addict, so looking forward to this workshop. It is a long time since I had a good play with fonts.3 points

Another workshop will soon start. Are you in? It will start on November 18th. This workshop is FREE for everyone, so spread the word. This workshop is meant to be for those with some experience with PaintShop Pro. If you are brand new to using the program, it will be a little more challenging, although we are here to help you if you still want to participate. Did you find this thread before the registration page? Here it is. Written instructions and extra supplies will be available to our DIAMOND members.2 points

I know that some of you will NOT use the copy of PSP2023 from the bundle because you already had it. That means that you can GIVE AWAY the license to someone else to use. However, if you don't plan to use it, or don't know anyone to give it to, you can send it to me, and I can then use it as a prize, during bootcamps or other events. If that is what you want to do, just send me the license you get from Humble Bundle and I'll keep it preciously.2 points

I am all moved and we closed on mom's house on Friday. Not unpacked by a long stretch, but starting to get some of my craft supplies out (finished my sister's birthday card at 4:30 p before they picked me up at 5 p). Looking forward to learning how to understand some of the quirks you get when using type (just had some this project, very annoying).2 points

The weather this week is a repetition of the weeks before, foggy and gray! The best place to take a photo where you can see this, is the railway crossing in our small station. I have to cross the tracks almost daily because the shops, pool, library are all on the opposite side from where we live. The only color in this photo comes from the trees that still have their leaves.1 point

I learn so much new things here in the Campus and it isn't always about scrapping either. Never heard of this plant/flower and nature never ceases to amaze me!1 point

Another photo that popped up in my online activity. This is a new one to me. It looks like a fungus but it isn't. Also called corpse flower, the plant lives underground for 51 weeks a year and then pushes up into flower for one week. Grows in most of North America, except the southwest. Used an overlay of film strips and some blending. The frame is from DS (Marisa?). Everything in there from my ever-growing stash. Just as with fonts, I have to stop acquiring stuff! Could never use all I have already.1 point

The Snowberry bush, is a low growing native bush. The flowers are quite insignificantly tiny, yet produce an abundance of food for pollinators. The berries start out black, then turn to white, to sustain small creatures throughout the winter months. The Snowberry Sphynx moth caterpillars feed on the leaves. Photo taken on Wednesday.1 point

This picture reminds me of a visit to Scotland many years ago now. In Scotland as well as in England there are so many castles and a lot are still inhabited, some even by descendants of the family that build the castle in the first place. Others are now owned by the National Trust, some are restored and they are open to the public. Some are even free to visit and for others you have to pay an entrance fee. I would love to go back there and take photos.1 point

Anne I admire your tatting work! I never mastered tatting or crochet, somehow that wasn't for me. However I did knitting, embroidery, sewing and lace making.1 point

I took crochet lessons in my 20s and ended up with many shawls and afghan blankets. I don't sew, knit, tat, or do anything like that since then.1 point

I don't remember how I got interested in tatting in my teens but I did. I asked my Aunt who was great at crocheting and many other crafts if she tatted. She said no but her Aunt had tried to teach her when she was about my age, but said Aunt Stella finally threw up her hands and said she made more knot mistakes than Aunt Stella could undo. I talked Aunt Stella into showing me how to do it, and bought a how to book. When I picked up on it pretty good, Aunt Stella gave me the tatting shuttle that was her Mothers. That would be my Great Grandmother's. I used it for a long time and then it broke. I still have it wrapped up in my jewelry box with a note saying who it belonged to. I haven't done any tatting in a few years, partly because no one I know would have any interest in what I created. Here is a butterfly I tatted for my Sister.1 point

No horses over here! The only place where I could see a horse was on the weekly cattle market on my way to and from school. At that point in time there was still a cattle market in the center of Rotterdam! When I was in elementary thΓ© thing to collect were sugar packets and I think I just went along because it was fun to exchange the double ones and those from abroad where the rarest you could have. My 3 aunties were already travelling abroad and brought back lots of them because they didn't used sugar in their coffee or teaπ. The sugar packets are long gone but the hobby that always has been a part of my life is photography. It must be in the genes, my dad was a keen amateur photographer and made me enthousiast as well. For this layout I used a couple of Anna Aspnes goodies, the font is Gill Sans MT and I made the aperture of a cameralens to substitute the letters O in the title. I used black, gray, white and a bit yellow to make the background in honor of the old photos!1 point

Week 44 I used a PSP floral pattern, selected the background color and inverted and promoted the leaves to a new layer. I added a negative shadow to recess them into texture (which was tin foil), which looked to me like the tree trunk outside my window. the blue in the background came from two gradients with different opacity. the fonts are Fleur De Leah (yes, that's the spelling of it), and Federo from CF or Google(via FontBase).1 point

Yes, you always measure at the highest point of the withers. Almost all equestrian discipline classes, especially showing, whether leading rein or ridden are categorized by height. Such as section A,B,C or D. Particularly in Wales and UK. Section A Welsh pony maximum height 12h. Section B Welsh pony maximum 13.2h. Then you have the Welsh cob Section. Regardless of the breed, anywhere in the world, a pony is under 14.2h, and a horse is over 14.2h1 point
