Yup, sounds like me, different list but same result. But I'm a sucker and I'll make 'em and I'll break 'em...probably by the end of January!

I started this a couple of days ago and just finished it. I don't think I did any of the things on my 2023 list except "take the stairs" and that is because the elevator at work has been broke for months. LOL Happy New Year all.

@Anne Lamp Looks like a list I should make (except that I do like vegetables - no problem there). Procrastination is the name of the game. I sometimes do my best production at the last minute! Ha! Ha!

Learning scrapbooking is often done with practice, looking around for inspiration, and trying to recreate projects we admire. Sometimes, we can be inspired by finished projects, but sometimes, we also have to use our imagination to interpret something. This challenge will allow you to envision something from a “boring” base, and you will have to imagine the end result differently. The sketch is only a written idea, and you can fly with it, modify it, and customize it to fit your vision, your photos, and your supplies. here is my layout, from Wuppertal - Zoo - 2007 I used quicktiles 3 script to make patterns for my papers. Polaroid and lifted photo scripts for the pictures, Sequins script for the sequins for the stich I used Cass-stichfont 2. the sticker is handdrawn with my tablet, its not perfect but I love it.

I has asked about this and I think you illustrated it in a Q&A... April 2023.

Finally, the way to fit a square peg into a round hole! 🙂

My thoughts this morning: can you make a square circle? So I started with a vector square, duplicated it (so I could show the transformation), and on the duplicate I used the nodes as symetric and made a circle - in a different fill color so that it could be seen; saved it as a pspimage, then as a png, and then as a jpg so I could show it here.

I had no photo to use that matched with this winter theme but I have collected a lot of goodies which I never used. I have gone quite liberal with the sketch idea, but all is there, although not all are papers in the given rectangles by the sketch. I think most of what I used came from Creative Fabrica and some from DigitalScrapbook.com. This was a fun layout and a change from the scripting course which is almost finished, just one more lesson to go in the new year.

As to your original question about go-to scripts, these are mine: Raster to Mask: to place photos on the templates I've bought from designers Merge Group Rename: always use after placing photo in Raster to Mask to keep the photo name. I drag my photo directly into the layers palette which keeps the original file name. Using this script keeps that name which then shows in the credit list compile. Credit List Compile: I mainly use designer kits so I use this so that if I post to a gallery I can credit the designer Guiding Lines: I use this when I think of it!!! I do have a lot of the element scripts but since I mainly use designer kits, I haven't used them much. However, if there is another Build-A-Kit Workshop, I will be using them! Some of those are the plaid paper scripts, Ribbon Factory, Custom Kit Ribbons, Buttons and Labels and various bow scripts.
