I have a weakness for the McDonald's fries (and I add vinegar, not ketchup).4 points

Yes, Happy November, weathers permitting! UK due for a winter storm soon so battening down the hatches! I have just read the Campus newsletter 31 October and was interested in the Colour Replacer article so had a quick go with a photo that I took on holiday that originally I had intended to make into a silhouette. I turned the colour photo into black and white in Effects/ Photo Effects and then applied the Colour Replacer using the dropper tool to source the colours I wanted to change. Just a bit of fun but it opens up more creative possibilities.4 points

Last Halloween theme from my game for 2023 (I hope). All I did was add outer glows and play with the opacity of each layer.4 points

ttps://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hervormingsdag For those who are curious about what is happening elsewhere in the world on October 31, here is a link from Wikipedia. My laptop refused to set to English so you have to do that yourself. You have to know that Catholicism and Protestantism were strictly separated and each other's holidays were not celebrated. So was 5/6 Dec Katholic and Xmas 25/26 Dec Protestants. The day on which European pagans were baptized en masse into Christianity. (read Catholic) This was accompanied by celebrations and the exchange of gifts. These celebrations lasted 3 days. Xmas has been around since 300 AD. Due to the Romans, baptism was voluntary, not mandatory in those days. Santa Nicolas came between 500-600 AD. Not in the beginning as a holiday. Over the centuries, the celebrations kept changing. Today temperature is 11°C = 51.8°F very windy and rainy.3 points

Then I hung out at work, mostly talking around the water cooler - talking about how warm it was and there was no snow yet. that's me at the bottom, I wore clothes to work, cause I'm thoughtful like that. Then I ate too many Halloween candies and got sick. All because the weather was warmer than usual. Otherwise I'd be at home snug like a bug in a rug.3 points

They are my favorite too. Sometimes I just dip them in a pile of salt. (ME BAD) I am a saltaholic but try not to get carried away most of the time.2 points

I'm seeing this word on popular media a lot lately as it is used for the characters in Neil Gaiman's Good Omens. The Ineffables are an angel, Aziraphale, and a demon, Crowley, played by Michael Sheen and David Tennant. They are charming and hilarious. Season 2 of the show is coming shortly. I can't wait!2 points

It's about 40 F at 6:30 a.m. and raining with a freeze warning here on Long Island, NY. It gets really hot in my room when the heat is on so I keep my window open. I'm currently wearing fuzzy socks and a sweater, but for me, it's better than being hot.2 points

I took some time out from the scripting curse to make this layout. The mushrooms are growing a plenty at the moment thanks to the still mild temperatures and lots of rain. Although I live in a village the mushrooms are on every piece of grass around the trees. One day there is nothing to be seen and the next it's full of lovely, nice and crisp new ones. I had a photo of autumn leaves and used it as a background with a big blur and some blendmodes. I made a co palette from that photo and all the colors are from it. The plaid is made using the script cass-plaid 3 and the big brown leave in the righthand corner is done with cass-embroidered patch. I have one corner lifted out of the frame and I have always a problem doing this kind of things, because my hands are not stable enough anymore, but in the end I got something acceptable. Al the other leaves come from my stash and again with blendmodes to tone them down. Fonts are Madelyn Calligraphy, Bavire and Leaves Baby for the leaf dingbats + Arial.2 points

I like this technique, but every time I follow the instructions in the handout from the tutorial, I have to fiddle around and do things differently to make it work. Eventually I get it and then it works. This one is using a photo of a woman I know who celebrated her 100th birthday last year. I made a layout for her, but not this one. She's still going strong! The text 100 years has an outer glow applied. The rest is just elements I have in my files.2 points

It's snowing here, once I did what I needed to do outside, I decided to participate in this challenge. I have included lifting all four corners in this layout. I lifted the lily out of the photo in order to frame it. I then lifted the top left corner of that photo, and the top right corner of the rose photo. Carole's corner punch, overlay of leaves on the punched out layer. I also made sure I had some shadow on the lily frame, of the lifted petal. My own wordart quote.2 points

I know Jannette, but for instance in Switzerland, the eastern European countries and I think Germany too it is just a normal thing to go and collect mushrooms from the woods.1 point

My mojo has escaped again and so I've been playing around, This summer I took a snapshot of a wall covering that I thought would make a good background. This morning I took a square of it and make it a pattern. Then I worked on the pattern and made it an overlay and reduced the opacity to 50% and then made a copy of it and put it in my Textures file. Then I made a paper of blue color and used effects>texture effects and this is what I came up with.1 point

I don't know if I am in the minority today, probably not so much as I was a decade or so ago. I have never ever had a Burger King meal. Admittedly when McDonalds appeared on the scene in the UK in 1974 in England. I tried my first McDonalds in 1983, the year my daughter was born. It was a while before McDonalds came to Wales. Several years passed before I bought the next McDonalds. I can count on one hand how many I have bought, as a treat for my children. I haven't had a McDonalds or similar fast food in over 25yrs. I'm not a fan of traditional French fires, (thin strips) I favour proper chips, fat strips of fluffy potatoes deep fired, with salt and vinegar (has to be malt vinegar). Preferably my own. Admittedly, on occasion I enjoy a Tim Hortons chicken noodle soup or broccoli and bacon soup with a blueberry fritter. Supplying my own beverage of water.1 point

I misspoke. I should have said Season 3 is coming soon. It will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video. And I still can't wait!! 🤩 I read on the group FB page that someone met them in person and was surprised that David is very sweet and Michael is the macho one. LOL1 point

Hi Corrie, Kudos from my husband (who has his computer next to mine) for your mushroom scrap. He is a mushroom fan. He thinks it is an umbrella mushroom that is edible. But I don't know if it's called that in English.1 point

Hi Carole, I have already replied to your Win-Info email, but I would also like to thank you very much for the great joy you have given me. For me, 2nd place is like 1st place because I need that right now. YES, I would like to continue to get to know PSP and continue to be active in your forum. Thank you! That made my day today. I have been playing and having a go at making cut out corner brushes. Not easy or quick to do so all credit to Carole who does all the hard work of making some for purchase. I would love it if Carole made a script to make creations easier. Anyhow, I used some images from Creative Fabrica to make the corner brush and the word clipart. Hope all that celebrate Halloween have a fun day.1 point

I made this pic myself in my backyard. On a sunny autumn afternoon, I found this may be a lost bumblebee on a leave resting. Or what insect it might be. I made this project in PSP 2018. For the background, I used the plugin RENDER. 2 colors green out of my photo. The decorative edge is from a mask, SN frame 10. The same 2 colors green. I gave it an orange highlight from the plugin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - gradient glow and a bevel. I've been thrown out. PSP closed due to the many times I tried.1 point

@Jannette Nieuwboer I find that is much easier to read! @Emerald Jay I am glad you enjoyed the Bootcamp. Don't despair; there is a lot more coming to all in the Campus! @Doska St. We will surely see more of your projects in our regular threads! @Ann Seeber I only put shadows on the same layer in exceptional situations. Otherwise, it is ALWAYS as a separate layer. That offers more flexibility even if I just change my mind! @Melanie Mitchell That book has been quite useful to many of our members here! I am proud of it too! @laurie solaas A refresher is always available in the Campus. At any time, just ask 🙂 @Anja Pelzer Making a silhouette will do the same as a shadow with no blur and no offset. In fact, the shadow will look like a silhouette in one step. If you have not posted your projects, maybe you were just practicing on your own? Remember that if you post 4 of the 5 projects by Monday night, your name will be entered for the random draws. You still have 3 days to catch up if you are still a bit behind.1 point

Here is my great-grand Magic who is 3 with a brand-new baby brother, Raja Blue. She is thrilled and Mama Lucy has trouble getting him back to nurse him. The papers are all from true heart digitals, one of the kits Cassel offered with the lesson. The title font is Snap with a paper showing woodgrain as the fill and the journaling font is Tempus Sans. The frame is from AHA Somewhere in Time. The clip is labeled PSBT_Songbird_Element from one of the other kits.1 point
