  2. Back in the early days of Covid, everyone seemed to be hoarding toilet paper and I had this cute photo of Eve, guarding our supply...

  3. We always taught our Doberman Zoey to stay off the couch but we came in one day and found her sitting like this. She looked at us like "well you guys sit like this".

  4. I had 2 Havanese dogs between 2000 and 2015. Pepper and Paige loved to snuggle under any type of covering they could find. In 2017 I got Peyton (another Havanese). When she was small, she crawled under a stand to be close to the air duct. She no longer fits there. But now she loves to take her bumper bed all over the house and flipping it over to lay on the bottom of it.

  5. I haven't made any layouts with my cat's weird places to hang out, but he does situate himself (like all cats) into some strange places. And he does love fresh laundry left in a basket!

  6. Oh yeah, the bathroom sink!! Slippers never used that, but another cat of mine did! I have had several cats over the years so there are many locations that were favorite. One cat even loved the box of Legos. Talk about something that should not be very "comfy"!

  7. CF had some amazing watercolor carriages; it was hard to choose just one. I added my avatar from the game just for fun. This is a little late for the seamless topic from February, but I clipped some floral elements from the original carriage pic and used Cassel's seamless pattern script. I flood filled a new layer with it and lowered the opacity above a solid layer. The font is from DaFont and it's called Atziluth.

  8. Found this lovely illustration by Yigit Ozcakmak which I thought fit the theme very well. I got the paper and elements from DSS several years ago. And the font is, of course, Little Mermaid from fontmemes.

  9. I I used what I learned in the shadow box master class and created this using (Fairy-Moon-Shadow-Box-47020851) from Creativefabrica and the shamrock in her hand was created from (Layer-st-Patricks-day-leaf-25320553). Now my Irish ancestors can either say well done or turn over in their graves.

  10. Happy March! Here is my monthly Big Cat Calendar featuring a Bengal Tiger playing in the water (as they do, frequently!) I put a full-sized jpg in the Files section on our Facebook group. It would print at 8.5" x 14" I wasn't happy with the paw prints so here's an edited version.

  11. This week, I found an old layout I made for ... a challenge. So I will challenge you too. I want a layout that will help us know you better. Your layout needs: Two photos of you (an older one and a newer one) 10 attributes/qualities to describe you (I know, that is always hard) Some brushwork Incorporate your favorite color so it will be all about YOU! So, what will you create? Here is the old layout that is the base for this challenge.

  12. I am registered. I participated in this workshop in 2020, which was then called Wise Words, but didn’t finish it. So, this will be a good opportunity to go through it again!

  13. I can't give credit for the illustration because I couldn't find the original on Google. Layered a couple of papers by Gina Jones from PS and played with the opacity to get the hue I wanted. I used a rounded rectangular selection to change the shape of the pic and added a couple of select selection borders on separate layers. Some clipart from DSS to add some interest. The font is Sexy Beachy from DaFont.

  15. Chuck Calio posted this on March 3 on our public Hudson Valley in pictures gallery on Facebook. I'm trying to showcase it in the demo Carole gave us for the Offset Cutout.

  16. I was playing with the Shadow box Master class. And I had this color wheel in mind (although I don't actually subscribe to the "color wheel" model?). As it turns out, those little circle layers are too small to be effective at showing the depth. it was a good learning experience, and I've included a larger version so you can get the idea of the depth. It's good for big layouts. I look forward to trying the ones from the masterclass.

  18. I sorted mine to sub-folders like Carole suggested. I don't have many brushes so it didn't take that long to do. Now when I do get new brushes, I set them up in Windows in a sub-folder in the Brushes folder right away.

  20. Yes. The blobs you see are likely because one of the two files is missing. You might have accidentally deleted the other but more likely, you didn't save it where it is supposed to go (maybe yu didn't know about the BrushTip_ file since it ends in .pspScript). You can always "import" them and PSP will create the missing file for you. You can also use sub-folders for the brushes, always making sure you have both files together. So you can have a sub-folder for my corner punches, one for the stitching brushes, one for watercolor brushes, etc. That way, if you know what you want to use, you can always change the Category on top to the sub-folder you want to browse, instead of "All", which is then quite long to scroll. You can even point PSP to only some sub-folders if you don't want it to load them all. For example, if you have brushes for specific holidays (like Christmas), you might not need them in June.

  27. N = Nevan– Meaning ‘little saint’, ‘little holy one’ or ‘holy’, Nevan is a name straight out of Irish folklore. The name can also be spelled as Nevin.

  28. Hi Cindy, my daughter, daughter-in-law, and 3 grandchildren (all girls) went there quite some years ago - we did a Ya-Ya-Sister weekend. We did do the baths - the water feels good. I also went there with a friend of mine and we did not go in the pools that time, but we did do "crystal mining" and then went to the diamond mine to poke around in the offall from the mine. Diamonds have actually been found in the slag.

  32. In 2008 my basketball team traveled to Hot Springs, Arkansas for a tournament. It was over the St. Patrick's Day weekend. Hot Springs has all sorts of fountains which use water from the springs. It is supposed to have healing properties and other benefits. We drank a good bit of it...not sure that I noticed any benefit. Most of my basketball pages were created 10X 8 so they could be easily printed.

  34. A= Alcohol Living in an area that has a fairly large Irish population, I know the celebration often involves Alcohol including the Green Beer. (that can cause quite a mess as it liked to stain anything it touches.)

  35. I scrapped the only photos I have from anything related to St. Patrick's Day back in 2012. Also, even though the grandparents of my Dad's mother came from County Kerry Ireland, St. Patrick's Day was not something that was celebrated by Dad and his siblings when growing up. My 2012 layout made with a kit that has long been retired. I'm not sure if the designer is even still designing!
