I also had a cat years ago who had something similar. Good luck with the treatments or meds. I hope Tuxie gets better.3 points

Here's a little something I did for my great-grand Logan who is 3 years old today. He also just acquired a little baby brother, Jonah. They are the children of my granddaughter Ilana and her husband Maverick. She is the daughter of my daughter Laurey. They all live nearby in the Tri-States area (NY-NJ-PA)2 points

It ended up being the naming convention. I deleted everything connected with the name of that curved arrow. The problem was I didn't change the name of the shape from the preset shape I had used to start with and change it to the name I decided to call the finished project. How dumb!. Maybe I need that vector workshop again. I had previously downloaded that tutorial, but didn't look at it since it seemed to be so straight forward. The other preset shape that wasn't showing up also had a problem with the naming convention. So, back to studying vector shapes. Thank you, Carole for your help. And you too, Rene.2 points

Thank you, I must confess. I love the snow. It's magical. It simplifies an image, whilst enhancing fences, trees, branches, buildings and the like.2 points

Wow! I love this photo! I know topsy tervy well, but not upside down and inside out. I'm going to use it! Well, I'm feeling a little foolish, I just checked it out. One of my favorite singers when I was a teenager was Diana Ross (I saw her in concert in Vancouver, BC). I am known for not knowing words to songs and wouldn't you know it, here's one of the verses: Upside down Boy, you turn me Inside out And round and round Upside down Boy, you turn me Inside out And round and round My face is a little red right now; it was one of my fav. songs, that I haven't thought about in years. Sooooo, I stand corrected, I do know that term after all.2 points

Thank you ever so much ladies for your kinds words welcoming me back into the fold. It is very much appreciated. It was an incredidible time being home, especially being around the little girls. Ages 3 and 5. By the time I left they were already rolling the letter r, as we do in Welsh, and other letters. Also picking up many of my mannerisms. As for the memories, well they have left an indelible mark in my mind. Here we go again Susan. Haven't you ever heard the saying upside down and inside out. hahaha! I use it in reference to being topsy tervy. Being in disorder, until I get back into my ususal routines. Perhaps it's another British saying.2 points

I had a good laugh when I opened this post. What a cutie. And more attentive at the wheel than some humans!2 points

First: WECOME BACK! secondly, I was thinking yesterday, when is Sue coming back? Imagine if I had wished for a million dollars! I'd be on a whirl-wind tour to meet everyone in the Campus. And lastly.....you must be very flexible...I'm impressed.. "upside-down and inside out". You crack me up, glad to have you back. Yoga antics aside, your images are as brilliant as ever. Love how you did the January 2024 part, really nice touch.2 points

I spent the month of January participating in the Month of Challenges at The Lily Pad. 31 challenges in 31 days. Even with 4 days away from the computer I was able to get them all done. One of the designers graciously provides a free template to showcase all of the layouts. I finished that today using a kit by Bella Gypsy. Also, all layouts must have only product currently on sale at the store or retired products by the current designers. Some challenges were a real challenge! Some challenges were easy because of things I've learned here at Scrapbook Campus (hello Mask Workshop). And some were full of ideas to use in future layouts.2 points

P52 Week One I am finally on board. I used Arial for this card. Two scripts were used: Custom Playing Cards and the new Counting Cards. Both very versatile scripts by the way. I love having the the choice of Vector format for the lettering on the Counting Cards Script - thank you Carole for thinking of the user and giving so much versatility to us. The Custom playing card script is very cool. It makes mask for the photo, but you have the option to turn off the mask and put the photo between the bottom and 'suit' layer...but dont be like me and forget to use the magic wand and clip off the extra photo bits or you wont get that round card corner from the bottom layer. the second photo I add is how I will choose which card to do for each week. It's all going to be the same photo and deck (isnt that the weirdest looking deck of cards?) so maybe I'll only post the turned over card every once in a while. the little Magnet I made is from this round (what I thought was a) deck of cards, only about 2 inches in diameter. It's called 5 Crowns and has and extra suit. I thought they were cute and were a complete deck. well, there is no Aces or 2's so I'll have to make up something. And I changed the color as the clubs were green. I needed a way to show an off-white playing card in the forum which is white so I chose to use the Counting Cards script and place in on a background. It's fun getting back to PSP. I will still be behind, but I'm going to catch up after this coming busy week.2 points

Week four and the start of the Tulip season! 🌷 Tulips are now widely available in the shops and I bought a bunch. It will take 3 or 4 months before they will be in bloom outdoors; the ones we can buy now are grown in glasshouses. The start of the season is always on Tulipday, which is the 3rd Saturday of January and is celebrated in Amsterdam on a square in the city center. There is a huge display of tulips and when the official opening is over, people can come and pick a bunch of tulips for free. I have never been there because it is not where I live. I'll buy them in a shop, but it always gives you the feeling that Spring isn't that far away!2 points

I have not followed what's going on for a few weeks so a bit late into the challenge, sorry but it is the perfect subject for a personal project I started last year that I have not finished the final layout for. I dutifully walked to the same oak tree on the outskirts of our village, once a month for all of 2023, getting the exercise and always having in my mind the creative challenge of how to present the collection of photos at the end. So my project is not quite p52 but very similar. I am still cogitating how to display all twelve of the photos into one photo montage and have made a layout to start with. The scripts that some of you are using on your designs are giving me ideas but here is where I am at so far...2 points

The template of this 2021 Year in Review layout was a cass-freebie from 2022 Jan... I decided to do a double page, but I will still choose the last three spots on the right side... It takes longer to decide on which photos I want to use than anything else... The square was not big, and I still managed to fit 4 photos inside! ... I am late, but I don't give up. lol1 point

P52 Challenge Week 6 Today I have a Jack and Jacks = creamers! I had wanted to show a nicer one I have but it has terrible reflections on it (bad photography) so I'm going to try them again. I have 3 more Jacks to do. And since it's the new month, I'll show where I'm at in my deck of cards. That tea is getting really cold by now. hahaha, I actually had to really water it down for it to "look" like tea. The font I used is called Dept from Creative Fabrica. Not super curvy, but just enough curves...like the little creamer. BTW the cutie little t-pot will show up as one of the Queens. I used a gradient (foreground-background) for the background and for the frame too, but I inverted the gradient on it. there is a tiny spot in the middle that is the same color so in effect disappears a bit. And I had to change the color of clubs, as this strange round deck had green clubs (Ewww). Oops, I forgot to straighten the card deck shot.1 point

Week 5 isn't still January? Oops. I'll have to go retrieve mine too. actually I thought it was all one long thread. This is a good reason for me to be late in posting going forward. After a thought, I"m leaving it there. Because for me the week starts on Sunday making more than 1/2 the week being still January. and it's physically the 5th week of the new year. That's my lopsided logic.1 point

This week there was nothing interesting happening and although making photos of housekeeping are ok 🤔 I want to show a photo that my daughter send to me. We had to laugh seeing one of the dogs as a driver and she remarked that she is training an assistance driver to come and get me at the airport if needed! This is such a cute dog and a bit naughty too. When I'm visiting them he is my friend and looks after me as long as I'm willing to play with him when the rest of the family is at work or at school.1 point

Sue welcome back, like the others I have missed you here. I hope you had a great trip and have made more memories for the grandchildren, as well as for yourself to sustain you until you can get visit again. I know that feeling of getting back into one's normal routine all to well; it takes some time to settle in but at the bright side is the opportunity to be at the computer and be creative!1 point

I am sure I have been like that in the past but with this project I had two aims so one prompted the other: regular weekly exercise (training for that sponsored walk) and the photography project. So now, I mustn't give up on the exercise (might sign up for another walk) and need to fulfil the creative project.1 point

I remember that one year, when I had changed location for work, there was a nice landscape behind the building and I was considering taking a picture, regularly, throughout the year, from the same window. I think I did take a few, but not enough to complete a whole year.1 point

I am looking forward to seeing your project come to life! What an interesting idea. You have good resolve, I often thought about doing something like that, then by day three i see something shiny and forget what I was supposed to be doing. (seeing something "shiny" is a joke my friends and I have about how easy it is to get distracted by something else).1 point

@fiona cook That would be a great idea for a double page! Make it somewhat like a timeline and it would be great to see it through the seasons.1 point

This week is all about my husbands birthday and he insisted I didn't use a photo where he is on! But a photo of the "vlaai" a specific Dutch kind of cake with different toppings will do perfectly. It originated in the province of Zuid-Limburg, but is now widely available and loved. For this week I changed the colors of the frame and text to suit the photo. Now wait and see what week 3 brings....1 point
