It goes on with received from mister L.P. Nielsen the amount of 52 gulden (guilders) and 5 cents for 26 days of nursing costs etc in the 3rd class ward a f 2,-- a day in hospital from October 19 till November 13 1916.

Nursing costs.............f 52,--                                              For the treasurer                             On the seal is the signature of the administrator and the date 13-11-1916

Charges.............seal  f  0,05                                               the administrator

However there is no mention what the treatment or illness may have been. That might mean 2 things: if he was employed somewhere (soldier, government) his employer paid the medical part of the bill or he had some kind of insurance for medical care and had only to pay for the nursing costs. But of course this is an educated guess.

Oh my goodness!!!! When I  read out your translation of the invoice to him, he was absolutely over the moon. This is a scraplift. When I saw the layout, it just spoke to me and expressed some of the losses I've felt over the last couple of years. I can't recall where I saw the layout, so I cannot give proper credit. It felt good to do it.

I love this layout but on the other hand it makes me feel sad and lonely. The old typewriter letters are so fitting here. I hope you don't mind if I use this on my part as a scraplift too, not immediately but I can see use for it some day.

I did get that bundle and have been playing with it. Since I had used CF Spark to create pictures (AI), I wanted to try out the Vision FX. It works best in PSP 2023. In CF Spark, you can create a picture from scratch. I don't see how to do it in Vision FX. It works on a picture you provide - changing it up according to your description. I tried it out on a picture I took up at Caboose Lake in 2022 and used a copy (very important to use a copy of the picture you want worked on). This is the result (I used the description for changes that were there when I opened it up within PSP 2023.

Oh Corrie, I didn't want anyone to feel sad b/c of it. I felt uplifted once I did it. You are welcome to use any part of the scraplift to do another scraplift!

I should say, I didnt use the "thumbs up" because of the sad and lonely vibes, but for you using it some day on a layout.

This is very cool.  I have had no time to even look at what I downloaded/installed.  But this is super awesome!  Hope I can figure it out like you did.

Julie, this happens to me a lot; I post something here and see the mistakes I haven't seen while working for hours/days with the layout. 🙂

I just love fall colors, and the photo is beautiful. It's a perfect place to sit on a bench, relax, and enjoy the view.

I get the weekly newsletter of a Lilypad designer. After the kids left home, she started creating layouts with her photos, sometimes documenting the good and also the not-so-good times. She went through a harsh period for some time (she didn't elaborate on the reason), and this was a way to express the feelings she had back then.
