Do you gather kit after kit, after kit? Do you take advantage of all good sales? Are you drawn to download free kits, and blog train kits? If so, you are not alone. That is very common in digital scrapbookers. Find that font
Wherever you look, whether it is on the internet, in print media or any digital media, text is ever present. Fonts used are always more interesting than the previous ones. Although some fonts are pretty standard and easy to recognize, sometimes, our eyes will catch a font that is more unique and distinctive. Sometimes, we want to know what font it is as we might just like to use it in our own projects. But, how can we find that font? Luckily, there are some tools to help.
Resizing images the right way
When you need to use an image for a project, it is unlikely that you will be able to use it just like that, without resizing it. New cameras take huge images and most of the time, that is just too large for what we need. What do we need to do? Simple: resize them. But this has had me cringe several times when looking at graphic projects since the resizing can be done wrongly. Here are some pointers.
Add dimension with shadows
Sometimes, you might download or purchase a quick page and you would like to add shadows where there isn't any. This can be a challenge or it can be easy. It all depend on the element you want to shadow. Single color elements or those with very defined edges will work better.
Theme – Renovations
Whether you own your own house or condo or farm or even just rent a home, renovations are part of life. It could be as little as a new coat of paint, or as extensive as building a new addition to our place aren't we often tempted to take pictures of the end result to show it off? Now, we tend to remember to also take pictures before and during the process so we can have a story to tell. And where else can we tell this story of change than in a scrapbook layout or even a whole album.

Terms of use – What is that?
If you are doing digital scrapbooking get various supplies, you will often see some acronyms on the previews of those products. In addition, you will almost always find a document in the zip file with TOU in the filename. TOU means Terms of Use. But what the heck is that? What does that mean? And is it even important? Let's see that.
Create your own alpha with PSP
Creating titles for layouts can be done with the Text tool in PaintShop Pro or using an alpha. Some kits will have alphas, some won't. And although some kits might have alphas, maybe it is not the way you would like to have one. So what can you do? How about creating your own? How are you going to do that?
