@Julian Adams It is ok to alter templates and at this point, it means you are getting more comfortable with them.

@Anja Pelzer That is a lot of work to catch up! Those mushroom photos are beautiful! And good work on customizing the projects.

@kasany You have great shadows on the teddy bear, but I think they are missing from the photos.

@Jen Brown I am glad you are getting back into PSP and that you find those tutorials helpful.

@Emerald Jay That is a great kit you created. Is that a sharable kit? If so, do you have a link to it? If not, it is ok.

@MoniqueN. Isn't it nice how the scallops are perfectly suited to the page?

@bina greene That Greek kit is so colorful!!! Did you take those pictures?

@Gerry Landreth I love that play on word, whether it is accurate or not!!

@Donna Sillia You are doing a lot of manual work to customize your projects. The results are wonderful!

@France Rivest C'est intéressant de voir que tu utilises des rubans à mesurer avec un sujet complètement différent du mien!

@Royanne Hewko Is he actually vacuuming the grass???

@Julie Magerka If you get sick of a project, put it aside. We don't want you to be put off by any project! In the end, I don't know if you like it or not, but I think it looks great!

@Sheila Hogg I think I would rather call those flowers "Blue Poppy" than that long Latin name! I am glad you enjoyed the workshop.

@sharon thompson Oh, that is annoying when something like that happens. At least, when you redo it, it is faster because you know what you want to place where. At least, it saves that time.

@Anne Lamp That is lunchtime for the robin's babies!

@Carolyn Rye I think the ricrac ribbon is missing its shadow, or the shadow is moved off. Is that possible?

@Susan Ewart Yes, the Blend modes can really expand your stash by offering so many additional options of colors. About the error you are getting, I have never seen that before. It seems related to the auto-preserve and not the actual saving of the file. Is that possible? I wonder if you can turn off the auto-preserve and re-enable it later?

@Harmony Birch It is a good idea to focus on a single seed. It allows you to make closer shots!

I know that not everyone has done their 7 projects, so keep them coming!!!

Yes he is.   All the sand blows in and the best way to get it out is vacuum.   Only in Yuma, AZ

  2. Day 7.   Thank you Carole for the templates.  I used the diamond membership template.   I used a kit from Connie Prince Prickly.  Font Fira Sans ExtraBold, Exotc350 Bd BT and Times New Roman.   I used Cass GrassTexture script on the word "grass".   Speaking of the clip to it script, it is one of my most favourite scrips, I use it all the time when working with templates.  I really enjoy seeing all of the great layouts.

  3. Day 6.   I am on time ...... Another great handout.   I really like the reverse shadow, I have saved the PDF for future reference.  I did not use the flowers as I wanted it more horsey!!!!

Beautiful Royanne.  And you've got your Oilers hoodie on.  Are you in Edmo (my name for Edmonton)?  I'm in St. Albert.

That is my daughter and she lives in Fort Saskatchewan, and we live on a farm by St. Michael, just east of Lamont.

  5. I enjoy having my morning coffee out on the deck, I have such a beautiful view of our yard.  Such a peaceful way to start my day.  Coffee cup from the vector course from Cassel, plaid paper cass-stripes-2 script, elements Ilonkas Designs The Story Of Seasons, button cass-Custom Kit Buttons.   Font Freehand521 BT,  Cooper Black and Times New Roman

  6. I picked the song Time Marches On by Tracy Lawrence.   I like the words and truth of the song that time does march on.   I used CASS Airbrush script on the background paper then used the Brick Texture.   I created the clocks using Notebook-Lab-10-01 clock face.  I used font Times New Roman and Forte.   For the elements I used Jumpstart Designs My Weathered Heart.

Royanne, for this one did you make the cut out images for the text first, before you created the paths?

No I did it last.   I did each letter as a separate layer, then duplicated, then made the changes to add beads.   Then I went back the original vector layer, duplicated it again and changed it into a raster layer.   Then I selected with the magic wand Opacity Continguous, expanded by 2 pixels, then created a new layer and did a flood fill of any colour.   Once I decided on the picture I placed in above the layer of the alpha I did a flood fill on then  I used my favourite scipt from Cassel Clip To It.   I hope I explained it okay.

  8. Thank you for sharing the font, I really like it.   I have been working on this page for some time, when I saw the font I knew it would match well.   I used CASS-text Paper script for the text on the paper.   I used several blending modes to get the result I wanted.
