  1. I cant find the post about our purchases from the recent sale so I'm posting here. I had a pinwheel party tonight. There is limitless combinations you can try, it was fun. I used papers from just watching A Beautiful Mess masterclass. And one has gradient on the folded forward part (pink&orange) that I had made previously. It's really quite something to watch it come together.

  2. At first I couldn't come up with an idea what to make. I don't like to fold my photos in real life so why would I do that digitally! In the end I folded the background paper with a small fold and made a folded ribbon with a button, then a cluster with 2 other buttons and the frames. At first I wanted to have some text too but in the end I didn't like it, so no text. The last Q&A session had among others a question about how to make a string to tie a button and that's what I practiced here with the buttons. Now I have a template for strings when I need them, very nice. Of course the photo is mine and it is of a field full with dandelions which I saw last week on a walk. I already have lots of photos of all the pretty spring flowers and blossoming trees in my neighborhood and used those in many layouts, therefore now something else. Enjoy!

  4. Just read this article in the Washington Post about a family's mailbox being taken over by mysterious miniatures. This article is free for non-subscribers with this link.

  5. I like it. It must take such patience. I love the idea of a kitty on the bottom shelf. How about a small box of gardening tools, watering can, trowel, pruning shears, etc...or supplies used to create the green room? Looking forward to hearing and seeing more.

  6. We have already had Mothering Sunday here in the UK back in March. However, like many people I get tangled up in Family History and have some photo's of my ancestors on Ancestry. I did something with my Mum's photo over this past weekend to make it a bit more interesting. I used one of Carole's corner brushes that i bought a few weeks ago, joined it up with straight lines, then used Carole's Bronzit script which makes a fab and unique frame befitting of my lovely mother. I also added a corner tube and used the Top Left Mirror Simple plugin to get it all aligned. I love how it turned out and is a tribute to my long deceased Mum who I miss more than ever. Love to all the Mothers here and all that can, have a fab and loving day.

  9. Colourful tropical fish tank or maybe that's another project. What you have done so far looks amazing. I've made miniatures in the past and used small dried beans and pulses and dried pasta/spaghetti dripping out of the pots.

  10. some gardening books on the bottom shelf, since these plants dont need water, they would be safe there. Or extra pots stacked, or a bag of soil.

  11. Our theme in May is MOTHER'S DAY, and by extension, MOTHERS in general. Of course, that can include grandmothers and other mothers than your own. Maybe it is about you too, if you are a mother. Do you have photos and stories to share about the mothers in your life? It could be a great opportunity to remember some of those little details that typically are forgotten. Time to put them out in the open! Let's go! Post your project in the gallery.

  12. Yes, I am still working on the green room. Can you think of additional details I can add? Overall, what do you think of the progress? Let's chat.

  13. That goes not only for the PSP elements and stuff I've collected, but for the general accumulation of stuff I no longer need in the house? If there were only a DELETE key for that! But what if I need it later....?

  14. Susan, if you want dandelions I can send you mine! I like them too, but not when they all go to seedheads!

  15. My idea too!!! And if I delete something I always think at a later moment: oh no.....

  16. I have a lot of stuff gathered too, and never used. In a perfect world I'd delete the stuff I never use because it makes it hard to scroll through and find the stuff I do use. But then I think, what if I might need it....

  17. Interesting ideas. I'll see what can be done. It would make sense to have that "hidden" on the bottom!

  18. That file works with VideoStudio. Even if you download the trial only, it takes a while to figure things out (I still struggle). I would suggest you skip that freebie, Cindy.

  19. I have a separate folder for my 64 bit plugins. I copied the Abstract Curves plugin to that folder and directed my file locations to that folder, and it shows up under Effects plugins. Here is a sample of a background where I used Abstract Curves to make a background for a card that I am making for a new home party for my great niece. I thought the lines sort of echoed the slats in the house. You can easily change colors, and I wanted to match the house colors.

  20. Playing further. I got some freebies, I think from CF, they are from "T" and the picture for them showed them as metal outlines. Well, when I got them, they were just outlines! So, I've been playing around with 2 alpha creation tutorials that were here last month, but were old. Well, one was to create an alpha metallic, so I used it to apply to my freebie. This is the result.

  21. I finally did the 1 2 3. The background pic and the Osprey pic are from the Hog Island Osprey nest. the frame if from this week's FreeDigitalMinikit. the folded ribbon is from CreativeFabrica the buttons are from (I don't have a clue) The folds in the background image were created from "Folded-paper-textures-collection-27671119" downloaded from C F.

  22. And so, just playing again - can't seem to focus on the layouts I need to be doing to finish my attempt at the Double Page Workshop, and to finish up on my Chattanooga Trip and the Alphabet Soup from 2022. This was just playing around with the flora element in the Desert Kit.

  23. Carole - what is the advantage of having that as a plugin? I already have FilterForge and don't use it as often as I probably should - need to investigate it more, I guess. I have your script to create enamel elements and have been playing with the various scripts I have bought, not just on your birthday, but through the years. I'm going to post the best of the enamel elements I made. The ones I made with a flat element with no contours didn't come out except as a sort of tray, but they are nice too, so I guess I'll post them also.

  24. Love this layout and the gradient is beautiful. It's hard not to want to take these little spitfires home.

  25. I always start off with a Wildcat Calendar for the month. Here's May: The Sand Cat, a tiny, tough desert dweller. I also posted this on the Facebook group, Scrapbooking with PaintShop Pro in larger format that will print landscape, 11"x8.5" I have mine on my refrigerator.

  26. I do like the broken frame effect. A great page. Try making the black button smaller, to be in proportion and place it on the young man's T shirt, as a Halloween pin.

  27. I'll take them, especially the seed heads. I want to photograph them in the studio, but by the time I get in the house and upstairs, they are lost their seeds. I used the bigger more robust Western Salsify last year (they look like ginormous dandelion seed heads) . Oh, for sure I need a DELETE key for the house too! And I could also use a DO-OVER key to fix mistakes, in whatever form they take in life (eg, leaving the stove unattended and melting the colander, putting the dust pan away like I did EVERY OTHER TIME.....until one time, I didnt and ended up with a torn hamstring) .
