Annie Tobin Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Thanks Lynda, always appreciated my friend. As always I am so envious of your photography and the page you have created is not only beautiful but informative. Love it! :D 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Another play with the GrabBag script ... which I just love ... can ya tell? Thanks for takin a peek friends. ;D 1
Sue Thomas Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Thank you Annie, your kind words alway mean a great deal to me. The bead maker is great, you'll have a lot of fun with it, as I am. Changing them into a tube takes time. 1
Cristina Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Anne, you achieved a very nice effect playing with Cassel's frame. Lynda, lovely and vibrant layout. I love your photos. Sue, no apologies necessary. <3 Many times I get lost with so many comments myself and most probably have missed comments. Annie, another great advertisement for Cassel's bag script. ; ) I have to say this is my favorite, beautiful! 1
Ann Seeber Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Playing with Art Media, using the palette knife with 3 colors and adding a Gaussian blur. Now I need to find a photo that works with these colors. 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 For Mothers Day- in memory of our Mom Using Lab 11-5 Couldn't decide whether to go with the original colors or change to purple because of my Mom's favorite purple iris 1
Ann Seeber Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Lynda, very nice. If I had to choose, I like the purple one the best, probably because the colors work with the flower. 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Lynda, lovely and just like Ann the purple is my favourite too because of the colors. Annie great work with your bags! Hope you will find a way to use a corner punch once in a while. I love them and use them frequently. 1
Ann Seeber Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Not sure about the color combo but I've been dying to use this photo, so here goes. The photo is from the Hudson Valley in Pictures by Susan Ward. I used the curved photo script on it. The journaling is from Wikipedia. 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 :) I am smiling dear Cristina because I had thought that I would do another of that particular grab bag. While I love the colour green ... not really the right background colour for a cafe/coffee theme. I will give it another go and then you can decide! Always very much appreciated my friend. ;D 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Lynda, this is truly a beautiful tribute to your mum and I love it. Wow, she was an attractive lady so I can see where you get your looks from. The masking you did on the iris are beautiful and the frames are delightful. Warm colours are always my favourite but I guess in this case the purple is the way to go ... whichever, both are beautiful! ;D 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Dear Corrie, thank you very much and I shall look for a project today to include a corner punch! ;D 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Clever lady Ann. Your background is perfectly suited to this gorgeous photo of the wood duck. My gosh ... those ducklings are so young when they take to the water and forage for themselves! Nature is a beautiful thing. Lovely my friend, enjoyed perusing. :D 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Thanks Corrie and Ann...I think it's unanimous! 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Ann, Nice job with the wood duck and the art media background. 1
Cristina Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Haha, Annie, and I thought the green worked perfectly with the illustrations... By the way, I love the illustration and the font... Now, I am curious to see the other project. : ) 1
Cristina Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Lynda, I prefer the original colors, although as Ann pointed out, the purple fits better with the flower photos. Ann, I like the color combo very much, and the whole project looks great. I am a big fan of the curved photo script. 1
Ann Seeber Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Having a little fun with a fun photo. Made a plaid from the photo and I tried out square-like corner punches and brushes that look like turtle toes. I made a pattern of the shiniest turtle shell and used it on the photo frame and on the brush pattern on the green paper. The bottom has some sort of "splat" ;-) 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 My cousin in PA sent me a photograph of a button puzzle. Gave me an idea. I created a bunch of buttons with Carole's button machine script and some from some button scripts that I made. Put them on one layer, then added two more layers and I rotated those layers for full coverage. Then I ran Carole's JigsawPuzzle script, added a wood background. This is much brighter than what my cousin sent but it was fun to make, it's somewhat quirky. 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Ann, This gave me a chuckle. Great job using the turtle shell for color and photo frame. Very nice! 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Lynda, what a clever idea. Turned out perfectly and it would definitely be a puzzle to solve. Well done Hon. ;D 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Very nice Ann. I love how you have used the corner punches and it is a delightfully quirky photo. Great plaid too my friend. Love it. ;D 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 I'm playing and learning how to use the goodies I bought with the birthday sale and also those I got for my own birthday. I used wordslats, ribbon factory, soft bow, eyelet, quick scallops, decorative stitching and edge punches. The background is made with the colors of my photo and the kaleidoskop. The word LENTE means spring, Now I have to try the others I have. T0 be continued..... 1
Annie Tobin Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Wow Corrie, you sure put those scripts to good use. Truly beautiful my friend, well done. :D 1
