Sheila Hogg Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Wow, such lovely work here. All fab work everyone. 1
Anne Lamp Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I created this for my chat friends at the live Osprey nest cam sight that I watch. The photos are from screenshots from that cam. 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 This is just for fun....what can I do with stuff around the computer house! These are all photos of flowers that I took from my yard. I also like to take pictures of textures and the sky. BG is the sky, frames are rough concrete. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Lynda, I love your map. Looks like an old folder map should look. And the rusty letters are perfect. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Annie - I can't believe you did the whole alphabet. I love the placement you did on the rivets. Great job. (and thanks for the compliments on my Gypsy). 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Lynda - I can see your mandalas being used as stained glass ornaments. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Anne L - I would love a vacation in Hawaii and your layout makes me want to go even more! 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Michele, Wow. I would never have thought to do what you did but it makes a beautiful background. And the colors match perfectly because of what you did. Now you have given me ideas... Thank you. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Bonnie - I always enjoy seeing your pickleball layouts. I like how you did the 'to burn the crazy off.' I Also like how you did the Crocus with the three frames. Along with that. Your cats, Poppy and Penny, are so adorable!!! I love how you have been teaching them to do stuff for treats. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Minka - Your Mustang one is fantastic. My husband had a mustang for 20 years. Just finally gave it up to get a new car. I'm sure in the future, after college for the boys, we will have another mustang. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Anne L - What a great idea to put the pic-to-painting together like that and how you got there. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Ann S - I love how you put together the colorful cubes! The black and white against the color was a great idea. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Anne L - Your spring forward is great with the snow in one pic and the spring picture in the other. 1
Val Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Lynda - what beautiful flowers you have around your yard. And the layout is great as you say what each of the flowers happen to be! 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Thanks Val, The Belladonna grows wild and has quite a story as it can be deadly but has also been used in medications. The rest had a helping hand from me. 1
Bonnie Ballentine Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I just posted this in the Sketch Challenge thread. I have been trying to scrap Thanksgiving, 2020 since Thanksgiving Day with now luck. This sketch opened the door and the layout just fell into place. The two young people are my adopted niece and nephew. I have known them since their birth and they are now independent, working adults. 1
Bonnie Ballentine Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I visited the Old Country Store to shop and checkout their monster milk shakes. Since we ate lunch. OCS sandwiches are also huge, the monster shake was out of the question...we did enjoy a "normal" shake. There was a special offering that day...a side of bacon...great price and some of the best bacon I have ever eaten. We split the bacon and mine is "sleeping" in the freezer. I take a little out at a time, cook it and then eat from it for several days. I'll take more out when I am ready for more. 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Still playing around with FilterForge. The font is Dragon with FilterForge, Vintage Clay tile applied , Carole's instruction on 3 D effects on the letters and bolts. The dragon picture came from www.fandom.com 1
Annie Tobin Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Lovely work Anne, you have blended it all together for a really smooth finish. Beautiful pics Hon. ;) 1
Annie Tobin Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Very nicely done Lynda and I really love the rough concrete frames. The flowers are beautiful and I was drawn immediately to the pumpkin flower. I am trying to get my pumpkins to survive ... treating for powdery mildew on a weekly basis. Lack of insect activity is also a factor ... I wonder if climate change has got something to do with that. Anyways my friend your pumpkins seem to be doing wonderfully. ;D 1
Annie Tobin Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Thanks Val and you are most welcome Hon. ;) 1
Annie Tobin Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Your Thanksgiving page is lovely Bonnie and the colour scheme is to die for. And, again you have put a smile in my day with your 10 pounds of bacon ... keep on entertaining us Bonnie, I love it. ;) 1
Annie Tobin Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Your dragon page is intriguing Lynda. The filter forge effect compliments it beautifully. Well done ... I am enjoying your playtime! ;D 1
Annie Tobin Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 This is my play for today. I really admire this type of art and I have quite a selection of it so I decided to do some pages using them as I would a photo. The background paper is my own using filters unlimited an overlay and blend mode change ups. The artwork came from pngegg, stone heart tubed by calguis, wordart was a freebie off the web, faded rose tubed by jhanna, leaves by miggins, brad unknown, title font Gardenia and font used for the quote is Emily regular. Thanks for takin a peek. ;D 1
