  1. Glad you enjoyed it, Sharon. It made me smile while I was working on it. Spring is just such a happy time.

What's going on with your software? I just installed the latest update and I don't know if that's why, but I'm okay today. Of course, I got a bunch of messages about duplicate picture tube, brushes, patterns, etc. All I care right now is that it's working again.

  2. Sharon, great layouts. At the rate you're going, be careful that you don't run out of pictures!

Here's last night's pic from my gaming group. The background was free from Pixabay. I added another happy little tree off in the distance and dropped some petals around for good measure. The avatar is from the game. I don't remember for sure, but the dress started out either green or blue. I used the smart selection brush to select it and the colorizing adjustment to remove the color. The change to target brush helped me turn it into a pink dress. Pinned a little cherry blossom spray in her hair and she was ready for the day. The font is Autumn Embrace Floral, a freebie from Creative Market. Added a few borders, 3-D buttonized it and had an easy frame. Hope you like it.

I actually had a rough time of it. I made a cherry blossom picture tube that I was going to use to decorate the frame, but I ran into trouble. Lately when I create a tube PSP tells me it's a duplicate when I try to use it, even though it's not. Then the program locks up on me. I don't know what's going on, but I'm putting it to bed for the day and hope it's better tonight.

  3. There was a birthday in my FB group today so I was able to use the inspiration I got from the way Dawn used Carole's corner punches. The plaid paper and the elements are Rush Ranch's contribution to a recent blog train called Nature's Dark Blooms. I used Cassel's Punched Confetti script to make the scatters. The font is Holland by Lettersiro.

  4. Darlene, how wonderful to have three generations together.

Cristina, looks like you had a brilliant trip to Portugal.

Sharon, Jimi looks so cute in his uniform.

Annie, I think you might need an intervention!

Those are really wonderful pages, ladies.

  5. I'm thrilled for you, Teri! Now that I've come here, I see where you got the inspiration for your layout as I saw it on FB first. It's absolutely perfect. Give the little man kisses from his campus grandparents <3

Dawn, beautiful as always. The frame actually looks like enamel. Is that the pattern you made with Mura Meister?

  6. I read the latest Campus newsletter last night. One of the links showed us how to turn elements into gold, as Annie already displayed for us. It came in handy for my gaming group's theme today as I wanted to turn one of the game's characters into a charm. I applied the method to the text, too. I didn't have a lot of time, but I thought it came out okay. I also used Cassel's gold chain picture tubes to make the bracelet and the frame.

  7. Dawn, your cards are both lovely, as usual. I happen to love purple so I do have a preference. :)

Darlene, Strider looks very distinguished with his hate on.

Annie, I love your flowers. I took a stab at the gold lesson, too, as I'll show you below. There are so many classes I've yet to "attend," but Many Shades of Grey looks like it should be on the top of my list.

  8. Love the cards, Dawn. Those flowers on Card 5 are incredibly realistic! They look like if I touched them, they would feel like velvet. Your use of the filigrane script on Card 6 is wonderful. I think I have it, but never used it. Now you've challenged me!

  9. Oh, Sheila, I'm sorry for your PC problems. I've been wondering where you were. I hope you can start playing again soon.

Darlene, You did a wonderful job. I don't find the colors "samey" at all; I think you picked colors that complemented each other beautifully. Working with Alphas is not my favorite thing to do as it can be tedious. I'm just thankful for the alignment tools PSP gives us.
