Absolutely beautiful, Dawn, The black background makes it so sophisticated!

LOL, Debbie. Five minutes is about my attention span, too.
Just want to reiterate how inspired I get from everyone's work. I love looking at all of it even if I haven't commented much lately.
Made this for my gaming group today. A couple of years ago I got a great big free batch of crafty clip art elements from Design Bundles that finally came in handy. I also used some fun free fonts that I think I got from dafont - Patchwork Stitchlings for the title and Lesley's Crafts for the decorative images in the corners. Used the ellipse tool with the dashed line style, no background, to mimic stitching around the white circle. I tried that with the rectangle tool for the stitching around the outer edges, but it didn't come out the way I wanted. Then I remembered Cass's Creative Scrap tutorial where she taught us how to do stitching using fonts. I got a much better result that way. The last step was to add a hatch texture to all the layers to make them look like cloth. Oh, and the three little women under the paint palette are characters from the game.
After I posted it to my group, I noticed a few tweaks I should have made, but that's where my attention span gets in my way. I go to fix one thing and forget about what I was doing in the first place. :)
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, my friends.

Lovely job, Mirelle.

Great job, ladies!

Sorry if I'm not commenting on everyone's work individually. My back is still acting up so I'm limiting my time. I'm looking at all of your posts and they are all wonderful. <3

Great job, Annie. Your layout really does that photo justice; wonderful colors all around.

Cristina, you did a great job. You were very ambitious and you nailed it!

I also didn't get any notifications or I would have posted earlier. EVERYONE's work is simply wonderful. I love seeing all the different styles our members have.
A friend of mine who is a quilter has a birthday today. Conveniently for me Cassel has a creative scrap on quilting so I put this together for her. The tag is from the Coffee Shop Blog and the font is Monterey BT.
I haven't been able to do much this month because of an injury, but I hope I'll be able to do more sooner rather than later.
Love to all.

Really nice job, Cristina. You had a very clever approach toward the circles.

I just realized I missed a whole bunch of musical projects. I love them all.

Trish, your scavenger hunt layout is awesome! And thanks for inviting us to another birthday party. :)
Sharon, that was wonderful use of the lace. Your girly girl will love it! Also, great job with the overlays.
Sue, I have a future projects folder, but it's just a random mess of ideas. I think I need your organizational skills.

Dawn, your creativity never ceases to surprise me. I know your in-laws will love this.
Sue, I just love how you created a peek-a-boo and made it look like a scroll (to me anyway). Nicely done.

Trish, 1- I love your stars project. 2- And can I get an invitation to Tina's party? It looks like fun! :) 3- Your crochet frames are very pretty. 4-Interesting use of Cass's slats template. I like how you offset the picture slightly.
Sue, see how good gathering your elements worked out? Cass thought it was a finished project!
Dawn, it's good to see you popping in for a visit. <3

Thanks, Sue. Just one more tutorial I need to watch. But at least I know which one to look for now.

Sue, the circles are a nice addition to your original page. How did you create them? One of Cassel's wonderful scripts?
Mirelle, I just love purples!
Marlene, Very clever solution for the circles!

Thanks, Carole. I totally missed the music tubes. I searched in the store instead of the blog. One day I'm going to have to really look through the blog for what else I've missed. I was playing around with the staff tube. It's going to take a lot of practice for me to make it look like a musical staff, but I had fun playing with it to make designs. :)
Cristina, that's a lovely page. Those cousins will treasure it when they grow up. I also love watching the bow scripts run; they're mesmerizing.

I love it, Annie. You did a great job putting it all together. (I work on a laptop and mouse so don't feel alone.)
Did I miss those picture tubes? I searched "music" in the store, but nothing came up. Do you know the actual file name? Thanks.

Sharon, I don't think your ocean photo was ever mediocre, but with the slats, it is spectacular! Your page is wonderful, too. How lucky you are to have those pics. I use a lot from Pixelscrapper, too. It's a great resource.

Thanks, Annie. I definitely had fun.
Thank you, Cristina. In order to find the Manual Color Correction, right click on your toolbars, choose Customize: Commands: then Unused Commands or All Commands. There are so many unused commands that it would take me years to try them all out.

This was fun! My layers are as follows:
Adjust: Hue & Saturation: Colorize
Adjust: Hue & Saturation: Hue/Saturation/Lightness
Lock, Paint, Color Blend
Lock, Paint Gradient, Color Blend
Adjust: Color: Manual Color Correction
Annie, I found the Manual Color Correction and added it to my commands. Thanks for introducing it to me. I think my colorizing is going to be a lot easier now.

Dee, that is a beautiful layout.
Annie, I love your lace.

Beautiful lace, Annie. I don't think I've ever tried the manual color correction. I'll have to give it a shot. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks, Annie. It certainly was. I can't wait to use it on some shapes next.
