  1. This one was a free kit from Digital Scrapbooking Studio from their The Rainbow Tree advent calendar collection. I just fell in love with the gnomes. I did a lot of cloning to change the word art element from Believe to Merry Christmas.

I hope everyone enjoyed the December holidays.

  2. Just wanted to share how great Cass's wool picture tube worked with the vector tube script. I converted the text and the rectangle shape to paths and ran the script on each of them. Then I turned off the visibility on the vector layers. It was exactly what I needed to dress up the pic for the gaming group's daily theme. I don't know where the game developers come up with their ideas. LOL

  3. A birthday card for one of my group members. The adorable clip art was free from The Hungry JPEG. The brush font is Joyful from Design Cuts. And I used the wovenreeds texture from PSP for the background. I had a lot of fun making it, but I'm never sure of my drop shadows.

  4. You've been posting some great work, Annie. I agree that sometimes you have to go back to the beginning. There is so much to learn and if I don't use the techniques often, I forget.

Love the "freckles are like seasoning for the face" quote. Oh, and I use Unsplash a lot, too. Such a great source for free stock photos.

  5. I went full-on scrapbook for this birthday card. I used a kit from Digital Scrapbook Studio and a font from Creative Market called Holland. I'm sure any campus members recognize the ornamental corner punch from the Creation Cassel store. I'm working on getting all of the sets; they dress up just about anything you can work on.
  6. Welcome back, Annie. I understand the sentiment only too well as I live with chronic depression. Stephen Fry put it brilliantly and your page is perfect. Hugs for you. <3

P.S. If you put your watermark on it, I would love to post it on FB if you don't mind. If not, I understand.

  7. Another theme from my gaming group. The main pic is an old vintage one I found on Google. I used a free mask from Mizteeques and a paper from MarisaL for the texture on the border. The font is Alistair Signature that I purchased from FontBundles during one of their $1 deal sales.

  8. Holiday Jazz theme for my gaming group. I used a lovely background from PixelScrapper by MarisaL. I don't remember where I got the snowflake ornaments from; didn't keep very good records when I first started. Found the cute little musicians on Google a long time ago. The font is North City and it was free on Creative Tacos.

  9. That video is an amazing keepsake, DeLoris, and your poem for Danny is very sweet.

Lovely page, Anne. Considering it's 2018, I think 1937 can count as vintage :)

Marlene, your card is so special. I'm sure your sister loved it and I hope she recovers soon.

  10. Beautiful job, Marlene. Unfortunately, I don't have many family pictures at all. My sister got them all when my mom was in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Neither brother nor I accepted anything from her after she got sick, but my sister is a unique one, to say the least.

  11. Nice work, DeLoris. I haven't tried the overflowing yet.

Thanks so much, Dawn and Cristina. Full disclosure, I didn't make the original paper with all the geometric shapes. I found it during my search to get ideas for the game design theme. Sometimes I look through my own images and google for an hour and suddenly something strikes me. If I have enough time left, I'll try to make my own version using it for inspiration. For this one, I didn't have the time.

  12. Look how much fun I had using Cassel's Accordion script. I was going for a pamphlet kind of feel to it. I never would have been able to do it by myself. If I had had more time, I would have made a more interesting background for it with some drop shadowing. Unfortunately, I only have a couple of hours to come up with an idea and produce the daily theme pic for my gaming group.
