We have a nice park in town that includes a dog park where I go regularly. One of the locals has a beautiful garden that abuts the park. I call him "Farmer Bob" and always get some goodies from his bounty. Noticed this today and grabbed a shot of it. Lots of paint and splashes and shapes added to try and make a simple and more horizontal layout.

Digital Scrapbook Printing Services in Canada
Julie Magerka replied to Julie Magerka's topic in Chit Chat
I'm looking at places within Canada, like Shutterfly or Treasure Book, or Creative Memories, etc. Not one of them grabs my attention. They seem to prefer to have you download their software and use it to create pages, like at Canva. -
Digital Scrapbook Printing Services in Canada
Julie Magerka replied to Julie Magerka's topic in Chit Chat
I find that some of the places offer sizes other than 12 x 12". Should I change the size of the canvas to accommodate their services, say 10 x 10" or 8 x 8"? -

Hi y'all, I've never printed in 12x12 before and want to have my first photobook done. I'm looking online for services in Canada, but they all seem to offer layout and design as part of the package, which I don't need. Can anyone recommend a company I can use? I want only one layout per page with text pages in between (done as jpegs) to explain the images in more detail. Thanks.

Just a really quick layout. I stopped at the vet's office to pick up a med for one of the dogs. These are the two creatures who live in the clinic and sprawl anywhere they want. But, like cats everywhere, a box is just too tempting to resist. Cuteness overdose. Di Hiller kit for cats provided most of the elements. Cass- Slipped in Corner 1 for photo and Word Frame v3.

What a great message to send your granddaughter. Love the colourful images you used. Starting high school is so exciting! I can almost remember it.

Funny how western themes have re-emerged into our lives. TV series and movies. My niece likes to think she's some gal in Yellowstone! You did a great job on the knotted rope!

Working with those paint transfers and splatters is so much fun. Yours really captures the NY eve spirit of fun and celebration.

I used to be able to use Firefox, did all the time. Then the problems started and I switched to Edge (which I never use), but it works for WN.

Sorry to burst that bubble, but somehow the time gets filled with lotsa other stuff and there's not enough of it, just like when we're working. βΊοΈ

What a great cast of characters for the film! Good thinking Susan.

Wow, knowing how long you worked on your album is reassuring. It might not take me that long (not as many pages), but I will be diligent.

They refer to it as "plaquing". I try to use unveiling, but I don't even like that much. There doesn't seem to be a catchier or more pleasant sounding way to describe it. As you say, the word has the yucky meaning of stuff stuck on our teeth which the hygienist has to scrape off. π¬

I see that you've changed your profile pic, Cristina. That's a good one!!!! π

Is their song beautiful? We don't have larks around here, and I recall from Shakespeare that they sing in the morning and that upset Juliet.

OK, so I started with an idea (a bit of a scraplift). When I wasn't satisfied with what I was getting, i switched to something more traditional and used the white, blue, green that are colours associated with the group who sponsor the plaque project. I need something clean and quite simple to create other pages for the "scrapbook" I will be doing. But man, this is gonna take me some time if this first layout is any indication. BTW, I'm not fond of the word "plaque"; it resembles too closely "plague". Some elements I made, some came from a freebie from Annie C Digitals and some from Kate Hadfield Designs. The lady in yellow is 90 years old and enjoyed seeing her family name on the plaque. I know I need the Shadows Workshop.

My confirmation arrived on Aug 6, right after I signed up. Go figure!

I agree with Susan. That mask is great! And the fact you have your own kit to work from.

That's me Cristina! You said it perfectly. What I end up with in no way resembles what was in my head or what I even started with!
