The idea was planted, and I was watching some lessons on extracting. It's not something I've become proficient at. You're always so kind and that is appreciated.

I used to be a thrift store junkie at one time. Had to give it up because I kept buying doodads and other things I didn't need to bring into my already cluttered home. The bargains are too good to pass up. I should be donating, not buying.

You have so many interests! PSP layouts, photography, and now gardening. Keeps you busy and happy, no doubt. Doing what we love is so life-affirming.

I did wonder where you found/got all the lovely vessels for your flowers. Good old thrift stores!

I agree with Michelle about your skills. Good for you getting back to a former passion that had lapsed. My ex years ago was a pro photog and he expected me to be one too, but it wasn't in the cards. I enjoy taking pix but all I use now is my phone, but I do have a lovely Nikon digital camera that I never pull out to use. When I'm out and about, I usually leave the phone in the car and therefore miss some possibly good shots. Oh well.....

I always appreciate your suggestions Sue. Love the idea of putting the bouquet outside the frame. And this frame layout is wonderful!

I started this layout in April, but I just couldn't make it work. I don't think it does now, but I wanted to use the Split Photo effect that Sue T. took the time to draw my attention to after seeing her examples. So here it is. Picture is from a friend whose son is the groom.

That is so delicate and pretty. I love dianthus. Don't tell me you have them in your garden already?

Thanks for looking that up for me! I will be checking it out.

Yup, I know that feeling. Starting out with good intentions and a plan, but seeing them go out the window as the layout develops. What I envision is usually not precisely what I get. But it's fun anyway. Love everything about this one. Those frames are wonderful.

What a cute little fellow that dragon is!

Love the layout, and the background really makes it! Great colours.

Just an ordinary wee bird, but you have made the whole thing just shine and sparkle. Love it.

I wrote a longer than usual response, then it vanished when I clicked Submit! But thanks for your kind words, Susan.

Darn! Thanks for your good eyes, Sue. I missed that!

And what a breathtaking landscape it is. In my area, it's all flat and rural which has its own beauty, but I long for something different sometimes.

The Gunks! That's a funny name. Great layout.

Any layout that uses an old photo is always something special to me. Love seeing them.

This is a scraplift. I liked the layout I saw (AMarie on Digital Scrapbooking) and wanted to replicate it. For no purpose at all. Just an ode to Spring when the blossoms are so wonderful. (Photo from Pixabay) I have started using a symbol (a wee bunny from a card from the 1940s) as my stamp or signature. There is a reason for the choice, but I am not going to share that. 😏 (Image reposted after I fixed the hard edges on mask that Sue pointed out. (So much for new "improved" vision, huh?)

F = Freesia (oh, the fragrance!)
