  1. Just a few words on notepaper using the font (not my notepaper b/c I don't have the ripped edge script yet!). I saw these words online and they rang true for me.
  2. I think the plant resembles what we here call Queen Anne's Lace which tightens into a brownish ball when it's finished blooming. But the flowers of that are white only.
  3. Those are words to contemplate, for sure!
  4. J = jujubes
  5. That would also make a very cool tatoo! If one wanted such a thing 😉
  6. These pix are from a small natural area near where I live where I sometimes walk the dogs. We did today and I was impressed with the fall vibes there and actually had my phone with me (a rare occurrence on a walk). I should carry it with me more often, I suppose. I love autumn, and I wait patiently (?) all through our stifling, humid summers for the cooler, drier days which have made an appearance lately. Feels like coming alive again!
  7. This is a fun one!
  8. H = Humbugs (candy)
  9. Thanks for the show & tell! Wasn't sure what they are.
  10. You go girl! You're on a streak of creativity..
  11. Thanks Cristina, but the idea came from elsewhere. It was a fun one to work on.
  12. B = Banana chips
  13. Finally got something together. I've had some pix I took of the hydrangea near my deck. I love observing how the colours shift from creamy white to light pink to dark pink. Mother Nature and her palette at work. I used the photo in a mask on the white layer, and then put the pic into a ripped frame. Got the idea from elsewhere and wanted to try it.
  14. I'll eat almost ANY cookie, pretty or not. But such lovely edibles must taste more delish.
  15. I ALWAYS think of things I should have done to a layout after I've put it away! And you're both 59? The next decade is approaching....!
  16. Brilliant layout Susan. No wonder your BFF enjoyed it. Making personalized greetings is so much more meaningful than a Hallmark card sometimes.
  17. I remember that eruption very clearly. Even in SW Ontario we had adverse weather effects for that summer. Happy to see that Mother Nature is restoring the area. 🥰
  18. I don't ever use "save as". Always the download link. Just a quirky thing I guess about which are really transparent and which are not. I think it's getting harder to find truly "free" images and clipart. Every site wants something back from me. My email, or sign up for free for a trial, or pay. Harr-rumph! I'm tired of giving my info everywhere!
  19. My first oft-used tool or command has always been Ctrl+Z! And that's in any software program.
  20. No, but it seems to be most of the free ones I download. It's not a big deal, but it happens often enough. All I do is run a search again for another one with a transparent background, or just leave it out of the layout. The background removal takes me too long.
  21. Does driving a motorcycle (Harley) for years qualify as risky? Some say so, but I was properly trained and always behaved as if I were invisible to other traffic, which most bikes are! Other drivers just don't see us. Cruising along the back roads and through beautiful scenery was enough adrenaline rush for me. I also wanted to skydive back when I was young, but I would feel OK with ziplining now. Bungee jumping? Not so much.
  22. Bacon is the reason I can't call myself a vegetarian!
  23. H= Hazelnuts
  24. Dried ones OK, but fresh ones are so delish!
  25. Great photo! Nice work on the elements too. Whenever a hawk enters the airspace here, every other critter disappears!
