  1. O = Odours
  2. Some time last year they had a six-month trial offer! I can't believe I dithered on that!
  3. I too have been delaying on a decision, so the 90-day offer is great! I also am not the most patient person!
  4. I expressed that badly I think. I meant that I'm stuck because of a mindset, not b/c of any files. The rejection of the layouts was by me, not the Campus. When I have to "force" a layout, I find I'm not very happy with it. But I'm still working on them and will post when I feel OK with them.
  5. The colours work so well with the photos. Love both of these.
  6. I can't yet get into the new challenges (fair, alphabet pix) although I've tried several layouts which were rejected. But I did have this photo (from a nature FB page) that really drew my eye. I'm trying to learn to work without frames for some photos using the masks/blending/brushes techniques of Anna Aspnes, a style I admire. Enjoyed doing it. Sometimes you gotta go with what works and hope it will stimulate more energy for creating pages. Fonts are Tuce and Brushy Handwriting. Everything from aA stash.
  7. N = Noise
  8. Ditto for me. My mom could sew anything, but no knitting. I learned to crochet as well, but haven't done it in decades.
  9. L = Lights and Lanterns
  10. But of course, and smothered with fried onions that you could smell from the booth wafting through the air to make our mouths water!
  11. You sure do have a high level of English language skills! Very impressive when anyone uses dual or more languages fluently.
  12. Oh, the Righteous Brothers! I was such a fan, and still listen to their incredible voices sometimes. Bobby Hatfield's voice! 💔
  13. Looks like we have a dust contest going on!
  14. G = Go-karts
  15. I knew the expert photog would know the answer to that! I think I'll simply get out the dust rag and clean it. Seems easier.
  16. E = Exhibit
  17. Now there's an idea! Thanks Corrie. I'll let it build up again so the writing will show better. 🙂
  18. I wonder...does dust photograph well?
  19. I do volunteer work for the local genealogy office, and I hear stories all the time of someone who just pitched out all the "junk" after a family member died. If only they would tell/ask before they do it! There is usually someone who would LOVE to have the old photos.
  20. Whew! Housekeeping crisis averted. Thanks!
  21. Oh how I wish someone would hand me a big bag of family pix. We have some, but cameras were not as ubiquitous back then.
  22. But if I take pix inside my home, everyone will see all the clutter that accumulates over time! And maybe some dust too...
  23. B = Ball Games (softball)
  24. This is a topic I can get into, when I have some time. The Fall Fair for small villages was a very big deal when I was growing up. It was mostly agricultural in nature (livestock, tractor pulls, all that sort of stuff), but as kids we got right into the spirit and had so much fun. Oh, the ferris wheel and the carousel, and the cotton candy.....
  25. Oh wow! It's great seeing those vintage carousels. Takes me back. I have looked at some of my early layouts and think JEESH, how bad is that? And yes, you have many brads in the layout! 😉
