  1. Kasany - how do you do your fractals? They look like some of the stuff done with the Kaleidescope effect in PSP and some of the other tools, but only kind of. Corrie - I have a pspimage of a national highway sign which are the other ones in that pattern. How can I get it to you? Does Facebook accept pspimages?

  3. I like your fractals. What is a fractal?
  4. This is another Botanic Garden picture with Cass freebie transparent ribbon used as a frame
  5. Lovely things you are working on. That paint frame is intriguing. I made 2 from transparent ribbons and downloaded the freebie from Cassel but haven't used them yet. I'm just OCDing about patterns for papers. In working my way through the alphabet challenge from 2022 I can't make up my mind about V - vacatiion? or Valentine Day? So I made a pattern of cars and road signs for a paper for vacation (since I really like road trips). I'll show you the pattern and one of the papers I made from it. I haven't yet played with that cut out circle. I'll also include the 2 transparent ribbon frames in a later post.
  6. Well, Julie, it might not be as in the directions, but it would be an interesting paper.
  7. Beautifully done, Corrie. Amazing trip. I love this area and have visited it a number of times. Always spectacular. So glad you got to enjoy this weekend trip.
  8. Suzy - the tomato slice is not creepy. I love what AI does. I've made sketches, art, png's and if you don't like what they do the first time, just say ignite again and it will give you something different. This looks like a great kit (but I don't like the caterpillars and moths that attack the plant)
  9. Have now finished U in my Alphabet Soup Album. On to V. Might be Valentine - not sure. All elements and papers are my own as well as the pictures taken at Union City. I have noted the photographer of the city picture and where I got the journaling on the layout.
  10. Suszy - really neat kit - just add the tomato flower - it's a pretty yellow flower
  11. Corrie - this is beautiful. Glad you are back and so glad you had a wonderful time. Looking forward to what you post about your trip. On another note - I never thought about doing a scrapbook photobook as an 8-1/2 X 11 rectangle - great thought.
  12. OK, Sue. I added shadows. Since I had merged the papers and frames around the picture, I chiseled the group and then shadowed it. Also decided to do a flip on the ribbon and had separated the shadow for it. Also, decided that it needed something more - just too stark as it was, so I added Cass scattered petals.
  13. These are some more papers that I made while playing with that rainbow pattern
  14. Sue - love your work with the frames. This is my take. All papers and elements are mine. Played with framing using papers and the selection tools, as well as playing with inner bevel. The freebie I cut out on the tag and then inner beveled it.
  15. So, I'm playing with Steve's Rainbow again. I took a section of the rainbow and played with Effects>Reflection>Feedback and came up with one I liked; put it on a larger canvas size and duplicated, flipped and rotated it until I had a pattern I liked and then made a background paper of it. Used Cass' Mask from Mask Workshop Extra 3. The font is Bluebell. Canvas frame is of course from a selection and inner bevelled.
  16. Finally got to T in the Alphabet Challenge of 2022. Has been interesting. Could probably do a couple of double pages for each of the M is for Memphis and T is for Tennessee.
  17. I need a new computer with a 2 T drive, to hold all my "stuff". If I download FF 12 and the libraries I may need a 3 T drive. Right??? Right now, my son has me with 3 internal drives (2 are 1T and 1 1/2T. Then I have a laptop with a 1 T SD (which I like to take with me). However, I need to use a 1T SD external drive (which I bought and really couldn't decide what I would put on it) but now, I think I will put the downloaded tuts and master classes and my CD picture file (humongous) on it to take with me when I am away from my real computer and need to access that stuff! I have the standalone Abstract Curves on both computers and the FF is only on my real computer. I understand that I can use my license to put it on my laptop, but haven't done so yet. I, too, don't have the libraries downloaded as I can access them at any time I need something.
  18. Carole, I couldn't find a tutorial on washi tape. Is there one???
  19. Now I see what Sue was talking about when I said I had tape with texts on it. My goof. I went up and got the tuts on how to do tapes (all different kinds but none with writing on them)! But, I'm still not going to change my layout as I like it as it is.
  20. Word frame, sand texture (around the picture), tape (the 3 tapes with words), Flair button (both of them)
  21. This is my take on the Bingo Challenge. My papers and elements except the tapes - they are from CP Jessica Dunn.
  22. There seems to be a problem with this site tonight. Several times I have had to sign in twice. This is my take on the DIY Challenge. All papers are mine, the acorn is from Creative Fabrica.
  23. Sue and Susan. You intrigued me. So I had to try it out. That's a great way to make a mask.
  24. S is for St. Nicholas. Finally getting back to my alphabet challenge from 2022. The font for St. Nicholas is Ballpark. Santa Claus is from Creative Fabrica and his coat was colorized red because my daughter said it looked like a motorcycle jacket. The holly leave and berries are mine from a previous lab as a paint brush (so I colored the berries separately), the poinsetta is a picture tube. The silver glitter paper is from Donna Sills stash that she shared with us earlier this year which I colorized as silver - the red one I colorized wouldn't work here. The font for Santa Claus is Brandish. I think the St. Nicholas statue picture was from Wikipedia. The frame around it I developed with selections, etc.
