Suzy - Glad you are back with us. The flu is really making the rounds and it does seem to be really bad this time. It has also messed up some of my family's Thanksgiving plans. Like you, I can only comment on this page as I'll lose what I've typed if I go back to the other pages. Marie-Claire - that is an absolutely gorgeous card! #87496. I also like the brightly colored one in which you used several of Cass' scripts. Those are some of my favorite bright colors and I've always like marigolds.

Cindy - like your sparkly card - the cupcakes look good.

And now card #7. this is a birthday card for a little girl - still have some great granddaughters and am expecting a great great granddaughter in a couple of weeks; so this card should be good with subtle changes in the dress, etc. I made the hair brown because my Cinderellas have brown hair. The other elements are my own except the sparkly frame is Cass sparkly pattern.

This has been so much fun. All the beautiful and fun designs - different interpretations of the templates presented. I'm still on card 3. This is it. I decided to do Christmas as I need one that is not religious (my main card is religious). The snowmen are from Creative Fabrica; the snowflakes are mine; the font is Kingthings Wrote (probably from CF or maybe one that was given in one of the labs). The texture on the background is actually sand, so the diamonds on the top had to be a silver grey. Had fun with the font as you can see I like to use the pen tool which is now becoming easier to use.

On day 2. All the elements come from PS - Marisa Lerin, except the doily which I had made in a lab. The border is Cass glitter. Loved learning about selecting a portion of an element and then coloring it on a raster layer you put behind the element. Neat.

Here is my take. It isn't Christmas, but I need various Anniversary cards. All is my own except the circle which I got from PS - Marisa Lerin and which I modified all but the wording in the circle; I used Filter Forge for the gold rings.
