Yes, I saw that movie in 1954 when I was in 8th grade. Here's the link; there's even a streaming option.2 points

It was on a plane crash as he and some of the band were on the way to perform for the troops. The plane was never found and it was assumed that it went down over the Atlantic Ocean - I believe he was on his way from England. This was shown in the movie that was made about his life starring Jimmy Stewart as Glenn Miller and June Alyson as his wife. I saw the movie but can't tell you when it was made - probably early or middle 1950's.2 points

Yes, I think we are all going to run and try that Masterclass, Marie-Claire! Those are lovely. Perfect, really.2 points

These are beautiful. I have a dumb question. Is the font itself transparent? So that any layer below would show through? The look is really eye catching. I'm going to check out that class. I have been watching classes when I warm of for my workouts and seeing that the ones I saw when I first started I didnt really understand. Now that I've learned more I understand the concepts of the tutorials better. Enough to know that I can be successful at trying them.2 points

Learning scrapbooking is often done with practice, looking around for inspiration and trying to recreate projects we admire. This challenge will give you an opportunity to personalize a project while trying to "copy" another one. Of course, you will change the title, the text, and the photos, but you will want to try to replicate the arrangements and some of the effects you see. It is a challenge but in the end, you will learn more about scrapbooking and your PaintShop Pro. In honor of Mother's Day (at least in North America), here is a simple layout you will want to "scraplift". Although this layout was made in a rectangular format, you can easily use the basics in a square format. The translation for this says "Germain Handfield-Chauvette held, in her arms, three generations". And if you want more information on "scraplifting", check out this article.1 point

Michele, your card is wonderful -- such attention to detail, and the corners are perfect! (Somehow my eye always goes to the corners on rectangles and to the top center on circles.)1 point

Cutter tool is also available in the Preset Shapes tool. I found a video on Corel's site about it: How to Cut Out Shapes and Text - Corel Discovery Center1 point

I had to look up Glenn Miller's death date, and discovered that he disappeared in 1944! I didn't know that.1 point

Thanks, Rene. I never knew such a thing existed…I just selected and cut out of the paper. I guess I’ll have to play around with it to see and understand the benefits.1 point

Mary, your album is incredible. I love, love the cover and all the information you’ve added. I think this is something I might want to duplicate, too, someday. SOMEDAY. But for now I feel as if I’ve had a complete travelogue of the city from you! (I love the song, too, but I never knew the entire first stanza!)1 point

Michele, this is cool! What is a text cutter, tho? I’ve never heard the term. (So I looked it up on the blog, but I do not know where the tool is in PSP 2022.) https://scrapbookcampus.com/2014/11/what-is-new-in-paintshop-pro-x7/ p.s. I hope you even see this post. I am behind on some of the threads!1 point

That song reminds me of my parents and their collection of the Time-Life records they had. It's a great layout. Looking forward to seeing the actual physical book you ge made.1 point

Finally finishing up the April Double-Page Challenge #6. Here is Shadow, one of the star black leopards at The Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, MN. She's quite a gal! I used the Vector Tube script on the title and the font is Ravie. The journaling font is Kleymissky. The background is my own Shiny Paper and the stars are from my Rustic Kit. The paperclip is from Marisa Lerin and I used the Open Book script with a gradient cover.1 point

I combined four or five different backgrounds including an old swirl I had made; erased some areas, used negative image on one, and played with the blend modes and opacity. The font is Rambutan from an old $1 deal from Font Bundles. Using the text cutter is a fun difference sometimes.1 point
