Nope. I'm done with dogs when Peyton is gone! If she lives as long as Pepper, I'll be close to 78. I had a harder time training her at the age of 62 than I did Pepper at the age of 45. I'm just thankful that I've had these 4 wonderful dogs in my life.

Hubby and I will be done too, after the our current two cats. I actually grew up with dogs and love them, but both of us were out of the house for many hours a day working.  We thought it wouldn't be fair to a dog to leave it alone that long.

Now that I'm traveling, finding someone to keep her is a challenge. My cousin kept her last year when I went to Cape Cod, the first day she had Peyton (even though she has kept Peyton before when I was in the hospital 3 different times), Peyton pooped twice in the house. Later in the week, she peed on a bedspread. Both things she doesn't do at home. So she's not sure she wants to keep her when I take my 3 trips this year. I know I can take her to a kennel and there are a couple of good ones in town but she likes being with people. With Pepper/Paige, the kennel would put them in the same kennel so they were fine since they had each other. I have an idea to run by my cousin, but will wait awhile and not push her about keeping Peyton

Balls & Bubbles problem in 2022 and 2023. I tried Donna's solution by removing the duplicate file locations - all except the ones I had copied into my personal file location and it worked. Unfortunately, after removing everything in file preferences>file locations, I closed PSP 2022 Ultimate and when I went back into it, it loaded all those file locations I had removed. So now balls & bubbles will not work again but just locks up the program.

I learn the darndest things from the Nat Geo emails I receive. I can't read all the articles, but I can google the ones that are only available to subscribers. This is one story recently that caught my attention.

It is about the Giant Pouched Rats of Africa who have been trained (by an organization called APOPO) since about 2016 to sniff out landmines and tuberculosis. The critters are about 25 cm (12 in) long and have a highly-developed sense of smell. Some of them are famous and have received awards for their success rates. Google Magawa or Carolina, two hero rats.

I never imagined doing a layout about rats, but hey! they're a story unto themselves.

Evidently my old mouse was the problem. Since installing the new mouse, Balls & Bubbles now works. That mouse (the old one) had even messed up my login screen.

Glad your problem is solved now!  A computer mouse is not the first thing that comes to mind if you have a problem 🫢

I'm finding that Win 10 is starting to mess with files and other things. Some files won't show up except as black squares, which I think MS is doing on purpose to push us to Win 11. I know I will have to get it before October, but I may do it sooner to get things back in order. But a mouse? That's strange.

I have Windows 11 - it just decided I needed it - didn't wait for me to chose it, just went ahead and did it!

Mary, it's good that you found the reason, but like Corrie, I would never have connected this problem to the mouse.        

Those problems are the hardest to solve because we often think of them first as a program problem rather than a hardware issue.

I had Win10 installed till recently and had no problems. Only upgraded to Win11 after the technician checked the laptop and said it was possible, although, with every update, there was a message saying it was not.

It's so frustrating when things start not to work as they should. 😞

I happen to love rats.  They are very smart too.   Beautiful layout.

First up: apologies to non-Canadians for this layout. It really is not a political statement as much as an explanation of the rallying cry we Canadians are using these days. It originated with the hockey superstar, Gordie Howe, who was known as "Mr Hockey". With events happening now, the term "elbows up" has been co-opted by many (including actor Mike Myers) to signify our national solidarity. 

Also of note: the new bridge between our two countries (in planning and construction for over a decade) linking Windsor (ON) and Detroit (MI) is called the Gordie Howe Bridge and opens this summer. Gotta appreciate irony!
