Jannette Nieuwboer Posted Sunday at 06:48 PM Posted Sunday at 06:48 PM @Susan Ewart Hallo, heb je het klembord al leeggehaald? Vaak staat die op herhaling. 2

I've got a license with the Humble Bundle but haven't downloaded or installed 2023. I just keep hearing about it's quirks and bad joojoo, including in this thread. Looks like its making @Susan Ewart (Congrats on the Gold Star Award Susan !!) crazy on one of her projects. 6 2

I wont give up on it because I love how you can see the blend modes in real time. I do have 2022 as a back up, if need be. 5 1

I think I'm the owner of the mistakes this go around. although 2023 has it's issues, some of "my" issues are actually me! 🤔. It's great for seeing the blend modes and it's for this reason I keep using it. It would be nice to use the right click and move a selection, but there is a work around (edit selection tool) that I don't mind using. Best would be to keep your current one(loaded) and load 2023 and try it out. Ann isn't having a lot of the issues some of us are having and you might not either. 5

Actually, I never knew you could do that. How do you do that? I do constantly clear the temp files and do a disk clean up on the hard drives. then I'll do a reboot. And before the masterclasses and Q&As I clear the browsing cache. Thank you for the info about the clipboard. I'll start doing it once I learn how. 2

Succes. 3 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted Sunday at 10:44 PM Posted Sunday at 10:44 PM Susan I think that temporary files and "klembord" are the same, this might be a language issue. In spite of being Dutch I use PSP and some other programs in English, so I don't have to deal with those issues. 6 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted Sunday at 10:51 PM Posted Sunday at 10:51 PM I have been a bit MIA for the last days of the workshop and have had some time now to see all the great projects you all did, but it is way to much to comment on them all. I had to take photos on an event of my swim group and make an album out of it. I have just sent it off to the printers and keep my fingers crossed that it will turn out nice. Maybe I'll finish the workshop in the coming days as I have noticed that I'm not the only one that hasn't completed it yet. 7
gwen jewitt Posted Sunday at 11:25 PM Posted Sunday at 11:25 PM Finally got lesson 7 finished I used papers from DCS Artsy mars24 and elements from vecteezy. Used my own photos , added a stich tube around the letters I was going to use the rope but couldn't get it to work in 2023 had one of those glitches and had to shut it down ended up redoing it in x5. Tango and tara stayed with us 4 days out of 7 as my son and his wife both worked,we loved having them stay. 2 11
Susan Ewart Posted Monday at 01:21 AM Posted Monday at 01:21 AM (edited) Lesson 7 I started out with the template and then deviated from there. The sunflower is extracted and is the what the front side looks like (as compared to the back side on lesson 6). I didn't even know it was growing in the sunflower patch until I went down to the end of the yard and saw two of these odd looking fluffy sunflowers. Font is called "The Metal," not sure if It's Google fonts or Creative Fabrica. the background was a gradient I added texture to. The frame is beveled and was a pattern in PSP. I find the word sunflower not that readable and the big sunflower is quite distracting. I wanted to see how this would end up. PSP behaved beautifully for this layout and any epic bouts of stupidity was all me. Thank you Carole, for another wonderful workshop. I had forgotten most of what we learned in the workshop. Dan Greenwood Posted Monday at 01:26 AM Posted Monday at 01:26 AM Here is my lesson 7. Sort of a different valentine. I added the outlines because I think it makes it look like a travel brochure! 2 10
Anita Wyatt Posted Monday at 01:37 AM Posted Monday at 01:37 AM Here is my day 4. Papers and scatters are from Digital Scrapbooking. The fonts are from CF:Cat Mischievous and Blinten. Photos of Siegfried are mine. I caught him sleeping so peacefully, until I woke him up as I was taking his picture. He was not amused. 2 10
Cassel Posted Monday at 02:43 AM Author Posted Monday at 02:43 AM @Carolyn Rye Good to see you catch up. That layout of Matthew is lovely. I wonder if you forgot to add shadows on the ribbon on the bottom. That is the only element unshadowed. @Daniel Hess Well, you did a fantastic job combining those two fun images! I hope all those techniques will find some use in future projects, even if they are not ALWAYS used! And about Humble Bundle and PSP2023, yes, that version has some quirks and bugs, but also some advantages so if you have the chance to have both 2023 and an older version, you might get the best of both versions. @Cristina Great use of supplies and tutorials! @Jacques For picture tubes, unlike brush strokes, you can't change the colors. The only thing you can do is change it AFTER it is applied using one of the various tools/commands available. @kasany That is a different take on the text wrapping, but effective! @Jannette Nieuwboer To change the font on the individual letters, you don't need them on separate layers. Is that what you were trying to do? @Susan Ewart It is an interesting take for a photo from the back of the flower. Very unique but also beautiful from that angle too. From time to time, I find that if a paper has been moved slightly, it is not as "easy" to trim it because some parts are left outside and can mess up shadows and such. @fiona cook Those a beautiful skies. You might want to consider adding shadows to your components to go along with the bevels you used. @Anne Lamp Great work on aligning the photo and the characters in the title. @gwen jewitt You have to be careful with the shadow on the heart. If you look carefully, you will see that the light source is from the top left, so the shadow SHOULD be toward the bottom right instead of the bottom left. You can probably add regular shadows on all the components of your layout to give it a 3D effect consistent with that thick heart. @Dan GreenwoodThe outline is a great addition. It really makes your components stand out. @Anita Wyatt I LOVE that font!!!! so creative and perfect for those photos! Although we have already gone through the seven lessons, if you have not finished, don't worry. You still have seven more days to access those tutorials. That should be plenty of time to catch up. And if you are among the lurkers, I would LOVE to hear from you, whether you post a project or just a comment about this workshop. We have over 100 registrants, so many are just watching, and working on their own. Come and join in! 5
Linda J Walker Posted Monday at 02:58 AM Posted Monday at 02:58 AM (edited) I have missed several days. Had some time this evening to play with the vector script from Day 6. It took a good deal of 'playing' to get something I liked, and PSP2019 was playing tricks on me too 😞 This week we will have Thanksgiving, so that was my word for the day. Maybe I will use it in a layout when I am done cooking. PS--This workshop is overlapping the 'Black Friday Event'....how do I add another 5-8 hours to my day...???😂🤣😂 Edited Monday at 03:03 AM by Linda J Walker 5 1
Jacques Posted Monday at 03:45 AM Posted Monday at 03:45 AM Very busy day. Didn't have time to find a nice photo and a corresponding text. I still wanted to do a test. 😞 3 4

Carolyn Rye Posted Monday at 05:22 AM Posted Monday at 05:22 AM @Cassel Thank you and yes you are right about the ribbon. Looks like I did miss the shadow on that one. 2
Carolyn Rye Posted Monday at 06:07 AM Posted Monday at 06:07 AM Day 7. I found it hard to give a font wide enough to be able to see the photo through it. I think the one I found is the best I could find in my assortment of fonts. It was fun working with this. This is a precious photo of our five grandchildren. It is rare for us to be able get together as we live so far away. 2 6
Jeni Simpson Posted Monday at 06:38 AM Posted Monday at 06:38 AM Day 4 This one took me a couple of days to play with. The colours just didn't seem to work for me, so many changes later, and I went with summer colours, the sun, and the blue sky. Coopers Creek is outside of Invercargill, the southernmost city in New Zealand, and about a half-hour west of where I live. As teens, we would head out there to party and I had no idea there was a small village there, until recently. This lighthouse building really appealed to me. I'm unsure what it is; and it could be a children's playhouse. The sun paper and the daisy came from Janet Kemp at DigitalScrapbook, the quote is one Marisa Lerin had created and I used the quote itself. 4 7
