You are not the only one, Corrie. It came up like that for me, also.

Vector Workshop Redux, Lesson 2 - a bunch of labels. (Yay, I did them! This is where I was stuck in July)
-
I've started a reprise of the Vectors Workshop and finished Lesson 1 last night. I think I'll post them here as no one else is in the original showroom any more. Here's my heart and arrow.

You may want the Clone tool on the left menu strip.

Does PSP 23 give you a list of the 50 additional fonts they are including?
Ann Seeber replied to Suzy's topic in PSP stuff
Been out hunting for the supposedly new font that came with '23 Ultimate but I do not have them anywhere. But, meanwhile, I remembered I could import lots of stuff from previous versions using File/Import/from Previous Versions so I did that. Then I remembered there were some free stuff offered on the Welcome screen under the Store heading so I went there and ticked the Free box and got 5 different downloads: 2 Creative Content, 1 purple script, Holiday Picture Tubes, and a brush set which includes a tutorial and more free brushes to download and I spy a Particle Shop intro video that I'm sure I need. (I saw the plugin when looking for fonts). Bonanza! (but no fonts, I really wanted that Broadway Engraved). -

Where did you hear they included all these new fonts? First I've heard of it. -
I did finally get them to pull off the taskbar but now I see a strange little bug in the Tabbed Documents command. It is ALWAYS showing a checkmark, whether it is active or not. I had to fiddle with it and also open the Customize dialog window to get the descriptors to move to the workspace and disappear.

Neat! That background paper feels like I'm inside the hull of a ship!
-
I did that and my saved script icons were gone and in their place was a text label. They were easy to place again; waiting for me in the scripts category but how do I get rid of the text descriptors?
-
Thanks; I'll give it a shot.

So, is it definite I should invoke the default workspace now? Then can I pull up my saved one or do I have to start over with all my bound shortcuts?

Yes, I won it recently in the Campus (in June, I think) and just did the patch that Carole posted. This is my first version of 2023. I never bought it previously because there were so many bugs flying around it. *swat! ?
-
Carole, how did you get that shot? I had to resort to my iPhone and send the photo to myself via Messenger! Maybe you have an easier technique?

Donna, it's there on my 2023 Ult. but grayed out until I have an image, I guess.

I installed the '23 patch but have yet to really test it out. '23 was giving me big problems with vectors so I look forward to re-trying that workshop. Meanwhile, a nice crew from a local cat rescue org. is helping with capturing my "friendly feral's" kittens and Mama also, to be TNR'd and returned. The kittens are shipped off to waiting foster homes to be socialized and adopted out. Here's one of the babies, just nabbed last night. ♥️

Here's my layout with a tooth theme. My daughter needed braces and this was her journey. The font is Britannica Bold, the template from Miss Fish with several cass-tooth decorations. Here is the text: My daughter, Laurey, was born with a severe overbite and a significant gap between her front teeth. Finally, at age 14 she was ready for braces, though there are no photos showing them as she always pulled her lips down and refused to smile. They came off for her junior year of high school when she was 16 and she was delighted, as you can see from her school picture. Love her smile!

Corrie: I've been looking forward to seeing your trip!

I'm in. I have enjoyed doing a Travel Tale in the past and once I had exhausted my personal travels I decided to make fantasy travel pages. Last time I "went" to Botswana, in Southern Africa, because I'm a fan of the book series The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith which is set in that country and I always wanted to experience it IRL. I need to decide where I'm traveling to next but there's still time between now and Aug 21. Here is an example of my work:

The Campus page would be What are you doing in August? for non-tooth themes.

Taking Carole's scripting course will help you dive into that. Note Tab's numbered lines would be fine for PSP scripts.
