Michele, so if we create on 3600 wide x 2400 long or 5400 wide x 3600 long, it should fit Facebook's parameters? (The only math I could do reliably is algebra! ?)

Unlike Michele, this took me two whole days! Deb sent this photo of Magic and her friend having a tea party and I couldn't resist using Janet Kemp's Garden/Tea Party Kit. Even the title is word art from that kit. I spent too much time changing the background on the photo. (Learning as I go here, this subject proved to be too detailed for an easy background change. I used part of a photo from my previous home that had a big lawn for the background.) This is probably more "scrapbooky" than my usual layouts but it seemed to call for flourishes! ? -

So interesting, Corrie! My granddaughter lives just north of Stanford in Palo Alto. I think this area is termed Silicon Valley? All the big software houses are there. Her husband is a senior software engineer for Meta/Facebook.

I started by clicking on the tutorial on the bottom left from the center collection on my Edit workspace. It walked me through it. It turned out to be a combo of using the edit selection tool and then just choosing a background photo. I used one of PSPs built in suggested beach photos but now I'm on a hunt for suitable background for my icky bird photos that show mostly my parking lot. I'll display something once I'm happy with it.

I posted this under its own topic but in case you missed it, here it is, also. I was reviewing the Back Off Master Class when I realized with the newer versions of PSP we have Artificial Intelligence built in that promises to change backgrounds easily. I tried it with a photo of my grandson, Brad, and his girlfriend, Livia. The original background was quite dark and I replaced it with a beach scene offered by my PSP 2023 Ultimate. Here is the original and the digitally changed version.

Still playing with Carole's hanging photos, this time with the grid background. I ended up with multiple layers of hanging picture tube vines. This is still Aspyn Dionne, from my last layouts. I finally used all the photos that her mother, Kristan, posted. This turned into a double page, or actually, two coordinated pages. This layout only used 6 photos each and I had 12 photos. -

Mary, here's how to fix that...

Yes, in the Files section at the top. I put one up there recently.

Looking forward to the workshop you mentioned ... Vectors in July!

Thanks for the kind words, Suzy. The two fonts on top are: Bahnschrift Semi and Banana Pancakes with an Inner Bevel. The bottom is Corlita Sans and I applied a cutout. They are all in my Nexus Font handler so I don't know where they came from.

A friend from my betta fish group posted some photos of her 9-month old cutie and I snagged one to try with Carole's frame freebie, using Sue Thomas' work as a guide. Here's Aspyn.

A tutorial would be great! Looking forward to it.

Interestingly, I was doing my weekly movie theater work and came across this logo for our new Disney movie, Elemental. The font reminds me of Carole's new frames. I'd to know how to she created this effect. I'm posting a snipped so you'll see what I'm talking about...

Granddaughter Jackie and hubby Corey are celebrating their Second Anniversary. I had 16 photos to place and thank goodness for Carole's Hanging Photos 2 Script! The succulents are for Corey and the animals are for zookeeper Jackie, found in the Animal Kingdom kit; the LOVE word art and snippets are from Melo Vrijhoff on Pixelscrappers. The title font is Simple Pen Solid and the frame is labeled BMU-Eve from Scrap Girls and the striped background paper is from a wedding kit by Sahin Designs.

Here on the East Coast of the USA it was intensely smoky early last week, the worst being Wednesday. Thankfully, it is now cleared up. Here were my shots of the sun Wednesay at Dawn and at Noon. (Never was able to shoot the sun without an eclipse before!) I felt like I was transported to the film Dune!

After looking at the Notebook PDF I would suggest you crop your original really small, right down to the edge of the black pattern, as shown on the top of this page. Your background is too large at this point. Using the smaller version as fill I think it will look like the demo.

Wow, spectacular, Corrie! Beautiful layout and I've added this to my bucket list. I'd love to see the Native American exhibits you mention and Sedona with the Red Rocks. I did Google the Overland Expo in Tuscon and it looks great for RV'ers. Here's the link - Overland Expo West

I'll be here, even if I do treat each lesson as a Scraplift! ?

From the album: Ann's Song Challenges
I love song challenges. My fantasy vacation to the Florida Keys to one of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville Resorts (he has some all over the world). His iconic "Margaritaville" song always makes me stop and sing along. I got a lot from NicePng, the layout is the template from Lab 13-06. The background is from my stash of beach kits.
