Is that your dog, Marie-Claire? She's gorgeous!

Thanks, Ann. I hunted. And Hunted. I also have a lot of pics that I've been saving over the years. Then I adjusted each of them.

Did this last summer, but I don't remember if I shared it in the forum.

N = New Snow (fresh snow accumulation in which individual crystals of ice are visible)

This wonderful illustration is by the amazing Sunny Gu. I love her stuff. It's the first time I used Cass's Seamless Pattern script. I used the smart selection brush to "lift" some of the flowers from the original pic and made a png seamless pattern. For darn sure I'm going to be using that script more often, hopefully when I have more time to perfect it. The font is Trench and the text cutter tool with a few drop shadows using zero offsets got this result.

Thanks, Sue. I'm also surprised I didn't already have those punches. I think I'm only missing one or two now. lol

Thanks so much, Susan.

I had to run to the store and buy Cassel's holiday corner and edge punch set so I could use it in the top right of the pic. It's one of the only punch sets I didn't already have. I was so happy it had holly! It made all the difference.
The illustration is by Inslee Haynes Farriss. The bokeh paper is from Chantahlia Designs (great place to get freebies; sign up for their weekly newspaper). The holly branch is from DSS. The fonts are Alex Brush and Admsdam.
I'm still getting used to sizing my pages for FB's new'ish set-up. You probably noticed that they are adding random borders when you post something. (Stupid FB.)

The pic with the tree was free from Vectorstock. I used some papers I had gotten a few years ago from Kelsey Inspired Studios to create the frame, ribbons, and text. The font is Orange Fizz. The ladies near the tree are my avatar and the one on the left is one of the characters from the game. I had some other ideas, but as usual, I ran out of time. :)

I signed up for the Treehugger newsletter, too!

Marie-Claire, there is so much to learn on the campus. I adore your folded tree! The entire layout is wonderful.

Now that I have more time to play, I can see how to change colors on the layers. Thanks so much for helping, ladies.

Thanks, Sue. I did choose from the SOP, but, as usual, I didn't have enough time to play with it more. Once my daily deadline comes up, I have to go with what I have. I'll try more options now. (I didn't even think of the block tutorial; my brain is like a sieve LOL.)

Here are a couple of things I did last month, but forgot to post.
Gotta Be the Hair: I grabbed a color palette from color-hex.com and used the Change to Target brush on copies of the original b&w photo. The background paper was made using a reflection texture on a couple of different layers. (Wish I had made note of the settings; I always think I'll remember, silly me.) The font is Vogue.
Silver and Gold: I used a tip that I recently learned from Carol ~ If you hold shift when you rotate the pivot handle, it automatically rotates 15°. I don't remember how many layers I had, but I think I missed a couple. The font is Streetwear. I used drop shadows to highlight and shadow everything.

I ran across this ad a while back and I wanted to use it as inspiration for my Classic Movie Night project. I ended up using Carole's Dimension Script. I was eventually happy with the results, but I couldn't figure out which settings to use in order to have similar layers to the original. No matter what I did, the top layer (original text) ended up darker. Any suggestions? (I used Agency FB Bold for the font.)

"Double-purchases in the store: typically, the system will let you know if you already purchased something EXCEPT if you put the product directly into your cart from your wishlist. But as it has happened before, I would gladly refund that double purchase if it happens."
Wow, I really wish I had know that. I almost always put the product into my cart from my wishlist. I usually just check to see what I have in PSP because sometimes I buy your products from Corel if they are having a sale. I'll have to start checking my purchases from My Download List in the store, too. From now on I won't add stuff from the wishlist directly. Thanks for the info.

Yearly option? I wasn't aware of that either. I wonder how we switch.
I took advantage of the BFD at 4:00 yesterday morning...16 items in all!

I made this several years ago. I used one of Cassel's corner brushes and gave them an inner bevel. I love using the corner brushes for painting or erasing; they are very versatile.

Thanks so much, Corrie. It can be a little difficult to keep track so hopefully, I've entered enough info in the Image Information Details tab so I don't send the same card to the same person. :D

I got absolutely nothing else done today because I made myself do a "real" scrapbook page for a change. The inspiration was a template from the ALFLT August 2022 Blog Train by Ginger Scraps. The mandarin duck is a gorgeous bird and, no, I did not take the pics. I used the Cass-RibbonFactoryC script and the Cass-RibbonFlower script. I'm going to try to devote more time to scrapbooking and less to playing games; I blame my OCD. I got a real sense of accomplishment (after the frustration) when this was done! The journaling font is Give You Glory, free from Google Fonts.
Any suggestions on how to improve this are totally welcome and appreciated.
