  1. P = Photos
  2. Anne did you make a typo with comon or is this a normal word for a type of pinecone? Sometimes I encounter here words that I have never heard of, so I'm not sure...
  3. Well if you find the answer, let me know!😉
  4. N = Nervous
  5. G = Groom
  6. A = Answer
  7. Me too, I always want to add to the gallery but then I'm spending a lot of time reading all the entrees here and think: later.......
  8. I too transferred my photo from the January thread to this one, maybe I was a bit early in posting the week wasn't over yet. It is a photo of my family's dog and a cutie!
  9. I stayed rather close to the DIY-kit and used all the elements as they were, but reshuffled them. In the big square is a photo of a drawing my eldest granddaughter did. She loves drawing and is taking courses to make a portfolio to get into a highschool that will have extra courses in arts. All the papers are from this month's Blog Train and by Jan Clark and Nellie Bell. I made 2 extra squares and they have brush prints on them; the other butterflies are from my collection and the butterfly outlines are preset shapes. The flowers are by Jessica Dunn, my own postage stamp, recolored dots and the font is Hobo. I think I have it all, nice to be back to scrapping, however I'm not saying goodbye to scripting either.
  10. S = Songs
  11. This week there was nothing interesting happening and although making photos of housekeeping are ok 🤔 I want to show a photo that my daughter send to me. We had to laugh seeing one of the dogs as a driver and she remarked that she is training an assistance driver to come and get me at the airport if needed! This is such a cute dog and a bit naughty too. When I'm visiting them he is my friend and looks after me as long as I'm willing to play with him when the rest of the family is at work or at school.
  12. Sue welcome back, like the others I have missed you here. I hope you had a great trip and have made more memories for the grandchildren, as well as for yourself to sustain you until you can get visit again. I know that feeling of getting back into one's normal routine all to well; it takes some time to settle in but at the bright side is the opportunity to be at the computer and be creative!
  13. N = Nuptial
  14. Fiona, I fully understand that particular difficulty; I had the same problem but I solved it quite easily. I rewatched the video and halted it at the point where we got to those floating layers step. Used play and stop for the video and simply wrote down on very "old-fashioned paper" the steps and never had this problem again. For a while I needed my cheat sheet but now I now it by heart.
  15. Rene that must have been a lot of work, every day for a whole month but nice to be able to have them all done and very satisfying too. They look great on this "presentation board".
  16. C = Cake
  17. Mary if there is a time when you can go a little bit more "fussier" , it is Christmas! This is very nice.
  18. Of course I'm in too, I love using masks and a rehearsal of those techniques is always a good idea! I have registered but didn't got the usual confirmation mail! Are the gremlins still at work?
  19. Oh I just happen to see this post now and I watched that video. It was as if I heard you explaining something today. Nothing changed and at the same time a lot has changed in how it all looked. Nowadays it is more "sophisticated" looking so to speak. It was great to see the start of it all and so nice you showed it with us. At that point in time you probably could not imaging how it all would grow into the Campus as we know it now.
  20. We have a Canon printer and we have it about 7 years now. We have always used the Canon inks, but not the paper. We live in a village and couldn't get that paper, only on-line and then you have to pay for the delivery as well unless you buy things over a certain amount of money. But I find other papers satisfactory as well.
  21. I don't know if I can help you, because of me being in Europe. I always try to find a glossy-matt paper. In essence that paper is matt so you can write on it, but it has some shine on the paper that let your photos/layouts look way better then on matt paper. I sometimes have difficulties in finding it when I have used up the ones I had. Good luck, a new printer deserves good paper!
  22. Bonnie I'm so happy for you that your trip turned out great due to the fact that Judy loved it too. A memory to cherish!
  23. What a creative idea to use a deck of cards with your teacups, so like you!!!! It will be a pleasure to see one each week and now you are set up it won't take much time to do a layout.
  24. My husband has done a lot of research into his and mine family history, for almost 20 years he had his own website. But now it is almost impossible to find new data. In WWII a lot is destroyed and over the years a lot of books that in the old days were kept in the churches went missing as well. He got as far back as possible ( somewhere in 1600) and a branch of both our families came from Germany and France.
  25. W = Walking, going for a walk every day, weather permitting, keeps me fit!
