@Gerry Landreth and @Cassel I have the same issue with the wrapping text that gets unwrapped! As I haven't done much scrapping during the months of the scripting course I have no idea how long I have this issue. I think it worked normally during the Magazine Workshop where I used it a lot on the pages. Maybe it turned up when we did the Travel Workshop if I remember correctly, but at that time I thought I did something stupid and didn't asked about it and didn't read a comment about it. I'm glad Gerry mentioned it because I had the same problem here when I wanted my journaling to wrap inside a selection. Of course I then typed it on the paper without making that selection; I just had to be a little bit more careful and test for a font size that would go well. Carole I'm glad you reported it to the team and I hope they will come up with a solution!

A very nice and original use of those photos!

Thank you Cristina. The top paper isn't the Linoleum Technique but is made of 2 patterned papers and a blend mode of Color; just a lucky find when trying to make something that I liked for this layout. 😊That font is a favorite of mine and I use it frequently, nice you found it too.

Day 3 After the snow photos of day 1 and 2 I used 2 photos of the same Hortensia that was in my day 1, but here in full bloom. I used the extra template for this one and colored the leaves with the technique of the lesson. The papers are my one creation and I had them in my stash. The flower elements are by cpjess-old fashioned summer. The button is one I use often and recolor as needed. The butterfly I forgot where I have that one from. I have accumulated a whole bunch of butterflies. Last the front is Bastro.

It are daffodils and they are not extremely early where I live. Although in the last 10 years or so they tend to come much earlier then before; climate change made visible! Luckily they survive the frost as long as they are not in bloom.

Day 2 Here I used a kit called Kiss from Marisa Lerin, which I had in my supplies for a while. It is all blue and because there is pink in my photo I changed some of the blues a bit for coherence. The circle and the dark blue paper are just colored with a color from the other papers The title font is Hobo and the journaling is Arial. The photos are taken today in my courtyard. I'm happy to be doing some simple scrapping after all the months of doing the scripting course, which was time consuming and intens but very rewarding and I loved it.

Sheila, all the best for a speedy recovery and we should say: "Thinking of you"

Lynda, so nice to see you are back after all those RV months! When I visited with my daughter in the States I have seen many different kinds of RV's. They were considering buying one and we went to a couple of "showrooms" (mostly outside), but they haven't decided yet.

Day one Yesterday we had a tiny, tiny bit of snow with temperatures between -2 C at night and +2 C in the daytime. Here in the Netherlands we don't get snow every year and today was sunny; so I took some photos and used one of those for this day 1 layout. The kit I used is a favorite of mine and is called Winter Morning by DBMagnolia for the Blogtrain January 2022. I didn't use the layer with the circles, hided it and added a new raster layer with snowflakes made with a brush. The font is Fantasy Magist a freebie by Creative Fabrica (one of their everyday freebies)

With this size I see that I have to increase the kerning of the word week twee for the font I used, will do that for week 3

This week is all about my husbands birthday and he insisted I didn't use a photo where he is on! But a photo of the "vlaai" a specific Dutch kind of cake with different toppings will do perfectly. It originated in the province of Zuid-Limburg, but is now widely available and loved. For this week I changed the colors of the frame and text to suit the photo. Now wait and see what week 3 brings....

Sharla that exactly what this "challenge" is about and I intend to do the same; just a photo of something that stood out this week.

Making an using masks is such a lot of fun! This one is very nice.

Not really, only on icerinks that have just a couple of centimeters it is ok and they have opened. On deeper water it is too dangerous because the high waterlevels are going down, the pumps are still working to get rid of all that water. Therefore there is a current under the thin ice layer which prevents the grow of the ice and it won't hold. Maybe for an individual skater but not for many people at the same time. Besides that later this week the temperatures are said to go up and we are back to the rain again

Yes I have that color problem too and if I use a printservice that can give a slightly different color as well. I have calibrated my screen and that helped a bit, it has not as much difference now. Your script comes in handy now!

This is a lovely layout and it could have been here in the Netherlands because we have had so many rain in the last 2 months that the rivers, lakes and brooks are overflowing! Now this week all of a sudden we have days with temperatures below zero even at daytime, but at least with a blue sky. I know for many of you that is normal, but not here and the forecast is that the weather will change back to rain and higher temperatures!

I'm very glad Poncho has recovered from the surgery! He almost has become a member in the scrapbook group. We see so many lovely photos with him.

Mary you do not have to use/buy that script, but it would be great if you could at least put a week number on your photo. The script does that for you with a frame and year as well. The idea is to make a coherent view of what you did, experienced, was a high/low-light of your week. When the year is at its end you have something you can share, print whatever takes your fancy. And as we all know, life happens and if you are not able to take a photo or can't post it that week, well do it the next week or if you prefer post only one's a month. Of course you can do this on your own, but we thought it might be more fun and a little pressure to keep doing this in a group. Even if your mojo is low at some point, one photo without making it a scrapbook project is doable besides all other things
