I have been rather busy and haven't been inside this tread for a while, so I'm not going to comment on every entree, but it was a joy to browse! For all of you have a very good Christmas time, in which ever way you celebrate this time of the year. Thanks for all the inspiration, comments, friendship and support and may this continue in 2024!!!

Fiona I'm very happy you opted to choose my Christmas frame that was done for a frame challenge last year and all those frames were a gift in the Christmas Countdown of last year. And believe it or not I just made a greeting out of that frame. You will see it here, I'm going to upload it now,

Cristina, I thought of this topic too but couldn't decide on which size to use. So, I use different sizes depending on the use I want. If it is only for here in the Campus then it doesn't matter. On the other hand if I want to print at home, mostly for cards, I use a size that my printer can handle. When I want it printed at a printing service I use the sizes they prefer.

I have no pictures of me and Santa, nor even from when I was a child (a long time ago now). I go swimming every week at our local pool and the class I attent is called Fifty Fit! Actually they should call it Sixty Five Fit but most of us are not working anymore, so really seniors! Every year after class we have Christmas lunch in the cafetaria that is there too and it is nicely decorated in this time of the year. Had I known that this topic would come up, I had taken some pictures but alas no pictures. Maybe I'll take some with our next Easter lunch. The rest of the time we drink a cup of coffee with a small group, not everyone does that.

We don't do anything on Dec 5 (or 6) for a long time now. It was only fun when the kids were young and living at home and we always had Christmas too, only without all the presents which came on Sinterklaas. Of course there was a little something for them as well under the tree. Most years our son and his wife come for dinner and the next day we go over to friends for lunch. Over here we have 2 days of Christmas, so almost everyone that is working is lucky, 2 days off. But we miss our daughter and the grandkids who live in the States, I have mentioned earlier that my husband isn't able to travel due to health problems and I will not leave him alone at home on Christmas. I'll hope to visit them again somewhere next year. A Merry Christmas to you too!

X = Xylophone, maybe a bit far fetched, but the letter X has not many possibilities and this instrument is used in much of the X-mas music.

Suzy I have had this look from using the warp brush many times, but I think it has also to do with the size of the brush you use. In my experience it is best to use a big size for the brush, so the sides of the shadow become longer with a more even look. Maybe this is a short topic for the January Q&A, because we won't be the only ones that have/had problems with this tool.

I had no photo to use that matched with this winter theme but I have collected a lot of goodies which I never used. I have gone quite liberal with the sketch idea, but all is there, although not all are papers in the given rectangles by the sketch. I think most of what I used came from Creative Fabrica and some from DigitalScrapbook.com. This was a fun layout and a change from the scripting course which is almost finished, just one more lesson to go in the new year.

Thanks, they were nice to do and the more I got into it, the faster I went!

Mine was 8.01, it is a very long time ago that I did a jigsaw and I once loved it. I think I should practice a lot more to get into my old routine which was always to start with the borders.

If it were the Netherlands, I could answer yes to all your questions, because the printing service I use over here has all that options and I have used them very often.

All you pages are so delicate and your photo is great! I would love to see her fall backwards, that must be funny to watch.

It is so nice when the work you put in turns out to be so fantastic! I know that feeling when you get a book/album printed and it turns out just as you wanted it to be, especially when it is such a precious gift. It will be great to see their faces when daddy opens his present. Enjoy!!!!

As soon as I saw that this freebie was about cookies, a song came to mind. In Germany there is a nursery song about the Christmas bakery and every year there is a children's choir in one of the big shows on the telly that is singing it. Cristina, Anja and Doska will certainly know it. It is called: "In der Weihnachtsbäckerei" and for those who want to hear it, you can google it and get many hits. Carole thanks, I can't get it out of my head now and am singing/humming it for the last 2 days!🗣️ I even found a sticker about that bakery, it was on a white background but thanks to the blendmode hard light the white disappeared. I have the cookiescript 2 and have "baked" a couple of cookies with some sprinkles and glitter, put them on a plate with a doilie behind. The picture of the bakery shop I had in my stash and I used a mask to get rid of the ugly torn edges. And of course I used the freebie cookies for the text.

Julie I got a hip replacement last year, it is something else but I know the relieve when the pain is gone after surgery. For me it was so worthwhile and now I'm back myself without that constant pain. I hope for you that, whatever your choice will be, it works out well.

I use A-4. I can use the full width of the calendar, but there is a little strip of 1,5 cm at the top (or bottom). I don't cut that strip off and use it to put two holes in with a perforator. So I can bind the pages with a nice complementary ribbon. You can also use that space for a spiral binding should you want it.

I have read a lot of books in English but I have never come across this word, so a new one learned today!
