Interesting ideas. I'll see what can be done. It would make sense to have that "hidden" on the bottom!

That file works with VideoStudio. Even if you download the trial only, it takes a while to figure things out (I still struggle). I would suggest you skip that freebie, Cindy.

Yes, I am still working on the green room. Can you think of additional details I can add? Overall, what do you think of the progress? Let's chat.
-
No, the Stack'n Cluster is meant to randomly layer papers and group elements. Let's see what the process would be if you used a template. What would you hope it would do? Can you spell it out step by step for me? From there, I can see if there is a possibility to transpose those into a script. If you prefer, we can chat through emails, but it is ok if you want to keep it in here where maybe others could chime in too.

There is a script that will put all your photos into a series of templates. https://creationcassel.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_10&products_id=496 Also, there is the Speed Scrap Scripts set. It does not pick the elements at random from a folder, but you select them while it does the measuring, clipping, and such: https://creationcassel.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_10&products_id=356 Or maybe the Stack'n Cluster? https://creationcassel.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_10&products_id=225

Once it is installed as a standalone, likely in the Program Files folder, just point your PSP to that Abstract Curves folder that was created there. That is all I had to do.
-
If you are having issues, install it anyways (so you would be within the time limit) and we can figure out how to get it "visible" in PSP after. I don't know if it has anything to do with dll files or not. Maybe check this article about installing plugins?
-
@Mary Solaas Do you happen to have another PSP version to check?
-
I assume you are using the 64-bit version of PSP?
-
Odd. Mine shows up in 2022 and in 2023 without any issue. Silly question: did you try restarting your PSP? I didn't need to but who knows?
-
What version of PSP are you using? I have the 64 bit version of Abstract Curves and it shows in my 2023 (which is a 64-bit). How about you?
-
If you are referring to the Abstract Curve plugin, it is simply easier when you work on a project to add those decorative lines directly onto your project. To me, it is simply fewer clicks. And even if you don't use it often, at that price, it is worth it! ?
-
I have it as a PSP plugin. It shows in my list of plugins after I set the File Location to it.
-
And beware that you HAVE to INSTALL it today. There is a counter of some kind and if you download today and try to install tomorrow, it won't work (I have made that mistake in the past).
-
I guess it is ok here, but if you add a link it will be easier for viewers to get it, especially considering that it has to be installed TODAY only.

Our theme in May is MOTHER'S DAY, and by extension, MOTHERS in general. Of course, that can include grandmothers and other mothers than your own. Maybe it is about you too, if you are a mother. Do you have photos and stories to share about the mothers in your life? It could be a great opportunity to remember some of those little details that typically are forgotten. Time to put them out in the open! Let's go! Post your project in the gallery.

In May, our monthly theme is MOTHER'S DAY. I am aware that Mother's Day is not in May everywhere in the world, and honestly, it should be every month of the year! Now, although it is the DAY that is the theme, we can play this game with a little tweak: let's talk about MOTHERS. So what words can you think of, starting with each letter of the alphabet, that relates to MOTHERS? Let's go!

It is a new month and new projects. Show off what you are working on in May be it a scrapbook page, a collage, a tutorial, or anything else you want. We are curious and want to see, learn, and get inspired. These threads are quickly becoming a fantastic source of inspiration, support, and friendship. Keep them coming! Remember to size down your image to about 600x600 pixels and save it in .jpg format before posting it. Here are a few guidelines for everyone: when you post a project, give as much information on your sources or techniques used. It will help others who are curious and would like to do the same. if someone uses something that you like on their page, ask where they got it. Sometimes, you can go get it too and it will be better quality than trying to extract it (as it would have been resized to post in the forum anyways). if it is something that they did from scratch, ask how they did it. It would be so helpful to everyone! if you like a photo and would like to “play with it”, ALWAYS ask permission. Sometimes, there are some limitations and the person is not allowed to let others use it. Don’t get them in trouble. Usually, people are happy to say yes (if they can) when you ask politely. And if you get permission, you might get a better-quality image than the resized image anyways.

And that is quite ok. Knowing what to do and when is great.

Yes, once you BUY anything in the Campus, you get the permanent access. I still have the written notes printed and bound. I keep referring to them, years later!

The whole class is $60. As for non-English in coding, you might be surprised that most of the commands are actually using English words as the language is Python and it is English based. Have you ever opened a script in Notepad? And of course, you might still want to rely on ready-made scripts. I have over 15 years of experience in scripting, so even though I started with that same exact course, I have learned more since. But, at any point, if you change your mind, you know where I am!
-
I plan on another cohort for the scripting course. Last time, I started it in August, with 2 lessons per week (I was also making videos to illustrate the lessons and add information about changes in more recent versions). Maybe you would like to join then.

I COULD show you some of my tricks if you want, although you have to not be scared of code!

Exactly!!

Believe it or not, I still learn and discover things while "playing" with PSP. Even accidents can be happy at times!
