I see the starbucks cup and books, wonderful books. This looks so awesome. The bottom shelf is perfect, it's just what anyone would put on the shelf. the pots are all different just like we all have at home and different colored too. This blows me away. Your daughter will be even more blown away I am sure.2 points

Maybe there was more to "c" in that acquarium, ackqwareeuhm, akweryumm...aquarium. ? (I think I have been spelling it wrong too)2 points

Believe it or not, the first few flowers I used for the green house were actually things I have done...40 years ago. Yes, I still had them! And see? They did end up useful after all! LOL2 points

Rene, this looks like to be a good system. I have to look more into it... When there is a newsletter promoting kits, I am attracted to it by the colors used. .. Only after that I'll check what is inside... Sometimes it happens. I had already bought it before, like ... today! Good that the site warns when one has already purchased the item.2 points

No ladies, you are not alone. In the 15 years I've been digi scrapping I have downloaded a lot of free stuff and purchased a lot of kits from various stores. Quite a few with good intentions that have not happened. Many I had even forgotten I had. Several years ago I made a vow to myself that I was going to use kits I already had instead of always buying new stuff. But I had to figure out what I had! After trying a couple of things I finally landed on a system that is working quite well for me. Since I have mainly kits that were purchased that have the previews, I put a copy of every preview into a folder of its own. Then I set up Adobe Bridge (it is free), to read that folder. I also set up keywords for each preview. My keywords are mainly by theme. Bridge also has a way to label an image with colors so I chose to use a red label for kits I have used and a yellow label for templates I have used. I have so many templates and some I really love and like to use a lot! So now when I scrap I go to Bridge and filter it so I can look through the unused templates and kits to see if I can find something that will work. I am happy to say that I have added a lot of labels to both kits and templates! I don't feel like I wasted my money on that stuff anymore. And, I have found some real gems in those kits. That's actually how I found the kit that I decided to use for my Build A Kit workshop. (But, yeah, I still buy new kits... especially when there are big sales like this coming weekend. LOL!)2 points

Following Bonnie's suggestion, I have added some gardening tools, a bag of soil, and the seed packets (the coin is for scale). Also, since she has had a knitting project for a while, I figured I could add some wool in a box. Finally, I have added some more details. Can you spot them? It is still not completely finished. I also have two hanging plants that are not in the scene yet. The shelf is not glued yet so nothing is stable! If I sneeze, it all tumbles down!1 point

Ha, Ha. Susan - love your humor (or is it humour or is that something else????) Well, it appears that that is the only place I spelled it with a "c" - and, yes, Susan, there was PLENTY to c in that aquarium.1 point

I had some problems with it and decided not to install. It is not expensive to buy and I will go that route, when and if I decide if I need to have it vs. I want to have it. Their website says $20 (presumably USD) and for commercial use. Mary and Donna have used it though so they might have some good input for you. I will buy it eventually, maybe, but right now I have to keep on learning what PSP can do because I'm really good at collecting stuff (including nifty programs) that go un-used as I dont have the amount of time I need to put into them to be proficient enough to make good use out of the purchase. It's really hard for me to have restraint. I'm thinking a better choice would be to save my money for a tablet, that I would make good use of I'm sure.1 point

Awesome. Thank you Ann. I didnt know you could send ZIP files through FB. Something new I learned today, starting off the day right.1 point

Wow, Ann, I love the 3 across the middle. And I did not knowabout the bees. I've always loved dandelions. I'm sure my neighbours didnt care for my yard, but they are happy colored flowers to me. I had company last year when their best blooms were out so I missed out. I find the first blooms are the biggest and best looking. And the shear numbers are larger in the first bloom of the season compared to later in the summer.1 point

It is a 1:12 scale, so each one inch for each foot, making the shelf a bit over 7 inches (about 18cm) and the monstera plant, the biggest one, is a bit under 3 inches. Working at that scale is a skill one needs to practice. Believe it or not, some miniaturists will do 1:24 or even 1:48 scale!!1 point

Seeing Corrie's and Julie's comments, you are not alone, Susan!... Guilty too! ...I downloaded free kits when I started here on the Campus, and some I've never used... So when I think of deleting, I have the same thought... Who knows? ?1 point

At first I couldn't come up with an idea what to make. I don't like to fold my photos in real life so why would I do that digitally! In the end I folded the background paper with a small fold and made a folded ribbon with a button, then a cluster with 2 other buttons and the frames. At first I wanted to have some text too but in the end I didn't like it, so no text. The last Q&A session had among others a question about how to make a string to tie a button and that's what I practiced here with the buttons. Now I have a template for strings when I need them, very nice. Of course the photo is mine and it is of a field full with dandelions which I saw last week on a walk. I already have lots of photos of all the pretty spring flowers and blossoming trees in my neighborhood and used those in many layouts, therefore now something else. Enjoy!1 point

Thank you, Susan. ❤️ And I agree... After a while, I realized there was no point to keep trying; I had to give it a break... As it was not working for me with layouts, I decided to do the Scripting Course, which lasts about 5 months (being 2 classes a week... I like the slow pace), and recently the Build-A-Kit Workshop... I am not saying I am back, but I am up to try it again.1 point

I combined the April Front Challenge with Lab 6-8 Stripe Ribbon Custom Label Cross Stitch I didnt like my Stripe Ribbon so I put all 4 together, merged and made a couple layers and used it as a border with a blend mode. The Custom Label; I saved the two parts before putting together and ended up using that version with the Flora Gardent font for the challenge in between. I hummed and hawwed with the edging, if I should omit it from the text or continue it. I tried just the top and bottom of the 'E' but it looked unfinished, going around the th outter edge looked weird, so I just closed it all up. the shadow needs work on the offset so it makes it hard to see. I believe the pictue tube leaves are Carole's. The tag is KMRD-My Fathers Study Tag 01. The Cross Stitch I used as two stitches to hold the tag on. The photo is mine I found while cataloguing shoot dates. I had passed it off as a bad photo, but thought I'd see how much I could do. Adjustment layers were used and I made selections and used the Adjust option on the top of the tool bar for selections (3 different ones in total). Does anyone know if you can make separate adjustments layers for selections, would I need to group them so the adjustment doesnt affect the whole photo? I used a texture layer on the backgound to simulate reptile skin. second font is Funky Grim (CF). This was fun to do and a surprise at what I did with the photo. Cant wait to get better at the photo editing/adjustment layer part of it. Again, I must add, my monitors are very bad so i really have no idea what anything I do looks like.1 point
