Cassel Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Did you ever watch a partial solar eclipse? Without glasses, it is not even noticeable. But even without glasses, there are other ways to "see" it, like with a projection box or another way to project its light. If you want some pictures of this recent eclipse, check these Facebook posts: Photo from Marc Guitard Photo from CJ Bernard The Valley Eye Photography
Susan Ewart Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Wow, those are beautiful photos. I don't recall every seeing a partial eclipse. 1
Michele Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Thanks for sharing those remarkable pictures. Nature never ceases to amaze me. I remember there was an eclipse when I was a little girl. Being warned that I could go blind if I looked at it, I walked home from school with my head down, staring at the ground. LOL 1 2

Corrie Kinkel Posted April 2 Posted April 2 The photos you shared were really great! This time we had a partial eclips too, but over here it occurred from 11.15 am until 01.03 pm with the maximum at 00.08pm. No early rising to witness it for usβΊοΈ. The weather was ok, but there were some clouds and because it was midday there was no need to go to a place with unobstructed views. I just had to go outside. This wasn't the first one I have witnessed, but it remains strange to see the sun with the moon taking a bite out of it. Of course it stayed sunny but the light was a bit reduced and when it was over the light was back to normal. Contrary to a total eclips where the everything goes quiet, this time that strange quietness didn't happen. 3 1
