I think we are boycotting "U's" this week, that's the memo I got.  hahaha, sorry, my job kicked my butt to curb last night so I was a little bleary-eyed when I posted.  I will write the alphabet out today and post by the computer so thinking wont be required of me.  😔

Sorry, guys for the confusion. I must have been helping out with literacy too much that day.... we were signing a litercy verse song 'the queen always has her umbrella' and seriously  that must have made me put the u after the q in the alphabet. Sorry again. I will have to study more 😉

K = Kalmia

Another flower that starts with K is Kalmia. It is a shrub-type flower commonly found in North America Eastern Part. It is known for its different names, such as ivy bush, mountain ivy, American laurel, Calico Bush, and other words.

This type of flower can grow for like 25 feet and blooms during summer and spring. This beautiful flower has dots of pink with its white color.

This looks a lot like our Mountain Laurel.
