To help out, I would ask anyone who wants to get the book to order it ONLY ON RELEASE DATE, which is July 16th! The more sales/day will give more chances to reach #1. Sales during pre-sale counts, but would be spread over more days, so hold off until July 16th! Did you make significant changes to the proof copy that I have? 2

Cassel Posted July 5 Author Posted July 5 And do you know what else is on July 16th? Amazon Prime Day! That is pure coincidence as I didn't know about it! 2 1 2

Corrie Kinkel Posted July 5 Posted July 5 I have marked my calendar too, but it is always a bit difficult to know when to start due to the time difference and I suspect that I need to go to the American Amazon site and not to the Dutch one that comes up first when I go to Amazon. If I'll be buying the book depends on how much it will cost having it send to me in Europe. Of course I can have it delivered to my daughter's but it will be in 2025 before I will be visiting there. Dilemmas.......... 2

Dilemmas.......... As far as I know, it would be available in your Amazon. However, because it is in full color, apparently, it won't be available in Amazon for Japan and Australia, at least, for the printed version (Kindle should still be available everywhere). 2 1
Susan Ewart Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Cool! Has anyone checked out Instagram for the fun questions about the book (and other fun tid-bits too)? I'm excitedly waiting till the 16th! 2

Cassel Posted July 9 Author Posted July 9 They are the same questions on FB or in IG so either place you are, you would see it. 2

My color group and a fitness person I follow is there and my friend who moved to Scotland posts there, so if I want to see these things I have to go there. I have to log in from my computer as I don't have data on my phone and wifi doesn't work - the phone is old. Neither FB nor instagram appeal to me but I do go on for those few people I follow. I'm trying to be better about posting to FB...after all, my data seems to be the worlds A.I.'s data for learning...let's train them to only love Digital Scrapbooking! 😅 1 2

It is in the settings, ask google how to disable that setting if you want to do so. I have done this and FB has sent me a confirmation that they won't use my data, for what it is worth! I don't remember if this option is only for European users because the European Union has a DigitalMarketsAct in place. The big tech companies have to comply with that regulation otherwise they get huge fines. Apple knows all about that and others have difficulties as well. Apple will not bring some AI features in their new OS18 to the European market and it had to open its app store for other developers, which in turn does not come to the other parts of the world. 1

Europe has good practices, you are lucky to live there. I think North America might still be the wild west in that respect. I will check out the the FB thing. I just presumed I would be part of the learning for the AI whether I like it or not. Didnt they deal with some issue over being able to use anything we post (photos, layouts etc) to promote FB. I'll try to put much better work on there...🤣, it might be scary what it will learn from me. Either way, I will likely never know if they are actually doing what they say they are doing (reference: the doorbell cam company, which as Rene mentioned in a post was 5 yrs ago....yet it's still front and centre in the techy news and still not yet resolved, nor has the company apologized). Yah I know but I think not opting out is the worst option, and maybe they will keep word, because they have sent a confirmation of my choice. I simply do NOT like my stuff being used in whatever way without my explicit consent, 2

Daniel Hess Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I got my copy digitally (Kindle Edition) a couple of weeks ago and perhaps that is why mine doesn't say "Verified Purchase". At any rate I have left my review and I am posting a screen shot of it below. Very nice job. I've got all four of your books on my Kindle now. 4
Mary Solaas Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I, too, have all 4 of Carole's books. The 1st 2 on Kindle. and the next 2 in paperbook. The previous 1 is marked with numerous paper clips as that is how I marked it for places to study as needed. I just got my copy of the new one and am looking forward to reading and marking it! 2
