Cassel Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Once a week, there is a radio show that has been on for many years. It is called Vinyl Tap. It is 2 hours of songs that are picked around a particular theme. Sometimes, it has to do with a word, sometimes, a topic, sometimes it is another particularity (like "unlikely duets"). With the fall months coming, use a title or lyrics of a song that has a COLOR in the title. "Lady in red", "Yellow submarine", "Pink Cadillac", "Brown eyed girl", etc. Are you up to the challenge? 1
Jannette Nieuwboer Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Yes, I'm in? But you have to wait a while. At the moment I'm busy in the garden and have no PSP time. Yesterday accidentally I was busy making something about an old song. Some parts are fixed but not everything. For sure It's coming up. 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 I like to make something, but I think I don't have enough time between the Magazine Workshop, the Scripting Course and all my normal day to day activities. But I will take a peek and enjoy the layouts to come. 1
Ann Seeber Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 I do like this kind of challenge. I'll see what I can do. 1
Julie Magerka Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 The first song that came to mind. The one, the only Jimi Hendrix. Nothing special done, just bits and bobs to try and capture the psychedelic vibe. 1 1 8

Anne Lamp Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Nights in white satin has always been my Husband & My "Song" The single was released in 1968 and we were married in 1969 so the [Chorus] was true then and is still true today. "Cause I love you Yes, I love you Oh, how I love you" The info was Wikipeda. 1 11
Jannette Nieuwboer Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 I didn't like them even when I was young. In those days I liked the French chansons more. Now I appreciate them more than then. 5 5

I did something too. When Julie dedicated her picture to Jimi Hendrix and Purple Haze I immediately thought of Prince and Purple Rain. Would that be OK for you if I placed my picture too? 1
Jannette Nieuwboer Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 16 uur geleden zei libera: Vind je het goed als ik mijn foto ook plaats? I think it's alright Libera. But I'm not the moderator. here. 1
Jannette Nieuwboer Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 (edited) oeps mijn tekst is vertaald. Ik hoop dat ze het voor jullie in het Engels vertaald hebben. Ik ben over gegaan van Chrome naar Edge. Edited September 19, 2023 by Jannette Nieuwboer

Even if you have the exact same song in mind, your projects will be different anyways, and that is what we love to see. 2

Everyone makes a unique and creative layout. It's fun to see how a theme or idea is interpreted by others. Post away, Libera, Hendrix or Prince! 2
Royanne Hewko Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 I picked the song Time Marches On by Tracy Lawrence. I like the words and truth of the song that time does march on. I used CASS Airbrush script on the background paper then used the Brick Texture. I created the clocks using Notebook-Lab-10-01 clock face. I used font Times New Roman and Forte. For the elements I used Jumpstart Designs My Weathered Heart. 3 3

Yes certainly, that is not a problem here. I'm curious what you made ?
Michele Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 I've been working on this on and off for days whenever I found time. I'm done so I can maybe get started on the Magazine Workshop. 7
