Suzy
Here is one from me - it's a Get well card fro the Card Workshop. And before you start yawning, a lot of effort went into this because the photos were for different places, different backgrounds different sizes, etc. The diamond background and key lines were from those little Lab classes. This card has been VERY well received by the recipients. 6
CaliKat
When I came across the blog post with the Out of Bound Technique I just had to give it a try. What fun! Here is what I think was my 2nd try at it. 2
CaliKat
I absolutely love the look of the Out of Bound Technique and so have done several versions of it. Here is another. 2 1
Suzy
And here is one of the Labs. A tile to make a paper background. I went above and beyond and the different colors are layered, so if I need yellow and green instead of red, white and blue, it's super easy to recolor. CaliKat
I got to thinking, the Out of Bound Technique image does not have to stand on its own, so I blurred it for a background, after having misted part of it and then put my out of bound image on the top and framed the whole image. I have a lot of fun with this technique. Thanks Carole! Edited September 7, 2023 by CaliKat 3

Michele
Digging into my own archives for this. It's from Lab 6 Mod 02 which taught me to make vector flowers, a string tube, and a hand-stitched alpha. I don't usually create complete layouts for Labs as I'm simply trying to learn the techniques. https://scrapbookcampus.com/the-lab/lab-6-module-02/ 9

Sheila Hogg
I have learnt from Carole that shading is really important and I try and follow the principles although I don't always get it looking plausible. The piece of ribbon is completely flat but the shading makes it look warped. I used the free hand selection tool to mark out a bit, modify and feathered and then the brightness and contrast. Love how the shading can alter the perspective of an image. 3
