    • Here is my day 6 project.  This one was fun.
    • There is a beautiful song called "Coat of Many Colors" by Dolly Parton. Released in 1971, the song tells the story of how Parton's mother made her a coat out of rags, inspired by the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. It's a touching song about love, acceptance, and the value of handmade gifts. I made this layout in 2020.
    • Carole suggested putting some shadow on the lettering as the colouring is light. To do this according to the tutorial with the 'Character Shapes' method we need to use Layer Styles for the whole word. Here's one without shadow and one with. As usual Carole has the good ideas. Thank you.
    • I looked back in March of 2023 to see what I created for this lesson and was pleasantly surprised to find one of my favorite layouts. We saw him in person at the Hackensack (NJ) Meadowlands racetrack years ago. It was a command performance and, of course, he won. At first, I was annoyed that they had gelded such a magnificent horse but then I learned the reason; he was totally unmanageable when young and the stable hands and jockeys were in mortal danger from him. Even gelded, he was the top money maker of all time. Here is John Henry! I will create something new for this year.
    • From a trip to S Africa. Notice the double rainbows!
