Beautiful, Julie! I honor my father in June as it will be his birthday on the 23rd and it's Father's Day here in the States. He's been gone a long time (born in 1892-died 1981) but I still miss him. I update and post this same layout every year in his honor. As you can see, he was a railroad man - chief night dispatcher for the Erie Railroad for over 40 years.

Fascinated with Cassel's "find" I looked it up and, in the process, found a good site, Insect Identification.org, for bug identification. Here's the One-Eyed Sphinx Moth.

One thought: I also would save my work and do a restart BUT I would save it with a modifier on the name so I could always go back to the original, if needed.

I'm in. I enjoy mask workshops!

That was actually Anne Lamp, Mary.

Looking around I found this layout previewing the birth of my great grand Logan in February 2021. Mom is my granddaughter, Ilana, and Dad is Maverick Paolucci.

My Wildlife Calendar for June 2025 features the Black-footed Cat, one of nature's fiercest felines and also the smallest. The black is only on the pads of their feet. My source is How Stuff Works.com The fonts are Aviation Cocktail and Arial. The background paper is a cutting board pattern from Elif Sahin. The template is from the Campus Calendar Workshop last October. The small journaling says: "The deadliest cat on Earth is also one of the smallest. It earns this title by having a hunting success rate of 60%, the highest of all cat species. They eat between eight and 14 meals every evening, and just one of the felines can devour upwards of 3,000 rodents per year." I also posted the full size version for printing in the Files section of our Facebook group.

Bonnie, you've done a great job with these QPs! Tell me where the dogwood quote is from; I love it!

@Cassel mentioned using the Perspective tool when confronted with a photo that needed straightening. When my daughters took a trip to Washington, DC, they sent me this photo of an oil painting of the female "Supremes" which was taken at an odd angle. I asked for help and using the perspective tool, here is the original and the corrected result.

Wow, that's great, Cindy! You go girl! ❤️

Hi Gwen - I did one titled "These Boots Are Made for Walking" for a layout challenge that included a song. It was back in April 2021...

I posted this in the Fingernails forum but I'm not sure anyone saw it. The photo was shot by my very first nail tech for her Instagram account. I provided the cat design. The layout is a scraplift from one of the layouts featured by Carole for the Fingernails topic. The title fonts are Algerian and Bremen. I got a kit from DS by Esperanza - Paradise Splash Bundle.

I did a scraplift for this busy layout - found it to be a challenge! LOL The title fonts are Algerian and Bremen. I got a kit from DS by Esperanza - Paradise Splash Bundle. The photo was taken by the nail salon owner for her social media. This was years ago and the first time I had my nails done. I actually provided the art for the cat.

May ALL ABOUT ME Challenge (2025) - Houses/Places you lived in
Ann Seeber replied to Cassel's topic in Challenges
I used a template to showcase the houses I've lived in. From 1941-1960 was my childhood home in Rutherford, NJ. From 1960-1966 when I was first married but still living in Rutherford. From 1966-1976, shown separately, we had moved to Wantage Twp, Sussex County, NJ. From 1977-1997 after my divorce and remarriage we moved to the Village of Warwick, NY. (It was a close comparison to my old hometown of Rutherford.) We then lived in New Hampton, NY from 1997-2008. We moved back to Warwick for the years 2008-2018. We then moved to a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo in Middletown, NY from 2018 to the present. My husband passed away in 2019, but I still live in the same unit. -

Welcome back, Corrie! We've missed you. And that's why the phrase, "playing 'possum" is so apt!

Well, after our cake discussion, I decided to go with Ice Cream Cake for my entry for the Letter I: The font is Bremen.

Outstanding, as usual, Suz! I ❤️ the play on words. As a dyed in the wool coffee drinker, this gives me pause to try one of those interesting teas they push nowadays.

@Michele @Corrie Kinkel I just got some Lindor Dark Chocolate Truffles delivered by Amazon. I chose the large box of 24.4 oz which cost $25.99. The alternative 15.2 oz bag cost $26.00. I think I got a bargain. It's obviously packaged for sale in a display box but carefully shipped with an ice pack! Nice!

I checked and it is the font's style; the differences between H and K are very subtle. Here's a screenshot of my Nexusfont -

Affinity works with .psd just like PSP works with .pspimage files. In other words; it displays all layers. The only hitch is that Affinity can't "see" .pspimage files whereas PSP can see both .psd and .pspimage. I do recall that there are some features of .psd files that PSP can't parse, so it ignores them. I've run into problems with bounded text since .psd can't see that.

Thanks, it looks wrong to me, too. I'll fix it.

I haven't seen any announcements or links to participate in a Vector Workshop. As a Diamond Member, am I missing something? @Cassel
