It is well-known that journaling your thoughts is a path to healing from the trauma of grief. We grieve for many losses, not just death. 🤗

Our New York State governor at the time the bridge was updated was Andrew Cuomo and his father, Mario, was a 3-time governor and well-known in politics. The bridge was re-named for Mario, but there's a lot of push-back as many liked the old name and disliked Mario. Photo is a drone photo of the Mario Cuomo Bridge over the Hudson River between Nyack and Tarrytown July 26, 2019, Peter Carl and John Meore/The Journal News.

Even I've heard of Gordie Howe, and I don't follow hockey. What an amazing sight to see the construction. I love those bridges with the angled cables. Our newest has that, too, at the Tappan Zee (now Cuomo) over the Hudson.

Beautiful! I love Art Deco ever since as a small child I stayed at my uncle's farm and that is how my wealthy aunt decorated the house. I was in awe!

😄 Gosh, Suz, that vessel is gorgeous! (What is it? 😉)

What a good idea; reminds me of an Advent Calendar. I'll have to see what will work for me.

I too feel it keenly since my Mom passed in 1985, though it wasn't around Christmas time, the season was so special in our family and now everyone's gone of my generation and earlier. I'm not sure I'm up to doing Santa stuff with the greats. Do still love the music, though.🎵🎄

Wasn't his spectacular voice a revelation when all we knew was a "hayseed character" from TV?

I enjoyed this workshop last time so much that I'm thinking perhaps I could create an ALPHA using my own creations here...

true, songbirds can't swim and usually have shortish legs. 🐦

The one on the left is mine; the other is my upstairs neighbor. Yes, they use the Cabin. Batman slithers out in the morning all covered with straw! Sometimes, if all the littles get in there, Batman sleeps on the doormat. I've seen a large pileup of "black blobs" where they're all cuddling there. 😄 He's their mentor and probably the Baby Daddy from before he was neutered. I hear I'm getting a heated floor for the cabin for Christmas! There's a plug right behind it. I think it keeps the heat a little over 40F/4.4C to keep it comfy.

Daughter Laurey came over yesterday and hauled the Cat Cabin from my front porch to the dumpster to remove the old straw so we could refill it for the winter. My little feral colony has grown from 2 black cats (Batman & a youngster (gender unknown, which I dubbed Robin) with the addition of 4 black half-grown kittens, for a total of 6 black cats! The littles are slowly becoming brave enough to approach the porch when I go out to feed everyone. Our temps have not been overly cold with occasional mornings under freezing, but these kids seem quite hardy. I try to feed them enough to build them up for cold weather. Here's a shot from my porch cam that shows the whole crew eating. That's Batman on the doormat, supervising. 😉

Wow, beautiful! Gee, I didn't know we were allowed to have the light source on the top right... 😉❤️

Never heard of it...what is a CSH file?

I = Interment (the burial of a corpse in a grave or tomb, typically with funeral rites)
-
Yes, that happens here, also. The kids just address their letters to Santa Claus c/o North Pole.
-
Here's mine for Week 43 - an original watercolor by my daughter, Debbie Lennox, titled "End of Summer at the Mendo Zendo" (that is the new name for Big River Farm that actually started life as a Buddhist retreat, complete with gong.) It is now an Airbnb and art gallery.

Is it related, at all, to Beetlejuice? 😉 (Note I only typed it one time....)

Discovered that I had already finished November and December so all I had to do was the back cover. Here are all 3 finished.

I know I've experienced it but not sure of the program... perhaps MS Word. I use it a lot. In fact, I think my MS Edge browser does it, also.
