and scallopy it is! I do think a shadow would improve the title font. It needs something...

Sue, thank you but I was advising Michele. I do not have any computer or PSP problems at the moment *fingers crossed!
-
If I had a problem I would go to Carole first.

Here's what I've been distracted by recently. I was a bit astounded to find a parrot at my bird feeders! All the supplies came from Marisa Lerin, mostly from her Template 530 and Bolivia Mini-Kit. The title font is Algerian, and the text font is Agency. I'd like to introduce you to the Quaker Parrot "Sweetie Pie".

My Week Eighteen - the Chipping Sparrow. They are tiny little birds and I love their rufous caps. They are all over the ground under my feeders. The photo is from Merlin which ID'd it for me.

I miss you, Corrie. Hope you're having a BLAST! 😉 Safe travels on your journey home.

I second the motion! @Susan Ewart

I decided to use my May calendar page from the calendar workshop. It does feature a Wild Cat - the African Lion. I will post this on Facebook full size for printing @ 8.5x11.

As far as I know, the recent child birthday parties have had no specific theme, but my daughter, Laurey's, last year featured a Flip-Flop birthday cake as that is her signature look all year-round.

Those are so pretty, Suz! I wasn't a fan of this layout but you've "contained" it well! 😉

This photo by Irv Richardson was posted on the Substack: "Letters from an American" by the historian, Dr. Heather Cox Richardson. He is her brother. It was taken in Maine, where they are based. The title font is Segoe and treated to an inner bevel and shadow.

I like the color contrast, Mary. I am having trouble trying to read your text in this reduced version. Could you post it separately? Thanks!

My Lesson 6 - font is Myanmar Text and Santa Claus. I turned the entire layout sideways and re-arranged a lot of the elements. I enjoy fiddling with stuff like that. The tall center row of hearts is a cass-heart brush tip used with the eraser tool and an added background layer of burnt orange.

we call them "candles"

Very nice, Bonnie! I almost missed them because they're not in the Quick Page Workshop thread. I especially like your Utah page.

Not a fan of this QP but I fiddled with the decor and the opacity to create a display of some black and white photos from my family's past. The title font is My Butterfly massaged a bit with the Sculpture Effect.
-
What creatures are you seeing, Cassel? The only animal I have showcased this time is one bird, the white-crowned sparrow. Are you sure you are talking about one of my layouts?
-
Still showcasing "The Gunks." The area is where my Terwilliger ancestors on my father's side settled when they arrived in the New World from Amsterdam in the 1600s. His birthplace was named Granite. This QP had room for a bit of journaling.

Thanks for the compliment, Mary, but I'm not really much of a photographer. I only have an iPhone XS and with upgrades the photos are now more easily edited. I found if I touch the main object in a photo the software indicates it will do an extraction for me! I think this is wonderful! 😁

Continuing my Shawungunk saga, I managed to slip in a shot of Mohonk Mountain House, a well-known resort in New Paltz. You may recall when I documented my parents' old Model A Ford having to take us up the driveway to the resort backwards because the gas tank was gravity-feed!
-
Finished the first from Lesson Four: This time a wide panorama + more Gunks. The 3 small photos are from one shot. I included a little writeup from Wikipedia.

I went back and tackled the layout from Lesson 2. I decided to create a template of sorts in order to change the background color which is now a gradient created with the cass-gradient creator script using the colors of the sparrow. The title font is Vivaldi treated to the Sculpture Effect using the Geometric pattern with white. I have these little guys hopping all over the ground under my feeders. Their striped heads are quite noticeable. He even dominates this busy QP.

Julie, thank you! I just adjusted the photo so you can see more of the landscape. Check it out!
