Corrie, I will be thinking of you and praying for the success of your eye treatment. My eyes are very bad, and ebooks and the computer have been a Godsend for us vision impaired individuals.

Papers are all from Marisa Lerin. The steering wheel is from Canva, and the paperclip is from my kit and recolored. I pretty much followed the tutorial using the same fonts and overcame my addiction to layered fonts. This project was a good refresher for placing shadows, something with which I often struggle.

The layered font is called Kid Zone from CF. It is very easy to use--only three layeres

I used my bee flowers in my last bootcamp and had to search for pictures to use. I am trying to use the kits that I have, but always seem to have something missing. The background and the papers are from Marisa Lerin. The pictures are my own. I made the bee from a font called Bee cute and the title from a font called Kid Zone both from Creative Fabrica. I love the cass stripes 2 script because I can pick the colors from my project and make stripes that match. I don't care for those pointy things on the black layer so I used the cass script quick scallops. The blue things are sequins and the pink flowers are tubes that I made using the cass script directional tubes.

A day late, but yesterday I was feeding my addiction for layered fonts. For the bottom papers, I used a cpjess kit call cherish mini, and the hearts from cpjess cranberry mini. I couldn't find stripes to match so I created some using the cass stripes2 script. The bone is from Creative Fabrica with an added texture that I created on AI and recolored. The photos are my own. The glitter was created using cass glitters B script to match my colors. The font from Creative Fabrica is Rainbow which I used in my Kit and recolored to match. The arrows are my own.

Day 5 - It's Spring Break, and my grandson's are indulging in one of their favorite sports--Snowboarding. David just sent me the photos. I made the background using casssnowtexture script with a modification to the color. The striped paper is from cassstripes2 script. The snowboards and the snowboard word art is from Canva. The font is Undercover Snow from Creative Fabrica.

On the iPhone, when you pull up a picture, there is an icon which gives you information about the photo. One of the things that shows is "Look Up" which gives you information on your flower or leaf.

The flower photo is from my daughter. The background and stripes are my own. I used cass stripes2 script for the striped paper. The hearts are from Canva. The gems are my own, and the sparkle in the middle is from the cass sparkle script. The font is a layered font from Creative Fabrica. My iPhone identified the flower.😄

I had to use salami which I downloaded from Canva. I made the silverware using vectors and saved them in my preset shapes. The napkin is from my 2010 Bootcamp, and the plates and cup are patterned with a texture from FF. The font is Ampera, a layered font, from Creative Fabrica.

The screenshot of my workspace is customizedd to include several scripts and other commands that I use a lot on the toolbar. For example, I can just click on deselect button, the repeat button, the pick button, etc. I prefer a black background. I have also saved the workspace so that if somthing happens, I can reload it without having to setting it all up again. I will be using the photos from Riverside Park that I took during my visit to Fredericksburg, VA.

Last day of February! I made a folded tree with rainbow paper. I wish that I could remember where I got the paper. I'm searching.

I use NexusFont and Character Map UWP. I unzip my fonts as I download them and put them in both places. I leave NexusFont open when I am working on text so that the uninstalled fonts are available to me. Character Map is so that I can get a good view of the font and the glyphs. I also save the files on my external hard drive.

Instead of dots, I used the tube that I made of a pineapple. This mask gave me fits, mainly because I was using wrong settings. The photo was sent to me by my grandson when he was in Vietnam to play rugby. The font is a free font called Peel. I made it a layered font by duplicating it, changing the color of one font and moving it into a lower position. The border is the kaleidoscope.

Day 6 - The photo is from my daughter in law. I made two backgrounds with different colors. The font is Lovely Valentine and Love Valentine Extruded from Creative Fabrica. I had to go to the blog to figure out how to do layered fonts. I made a picture with the font, the background and the preset shape, merged and copied into the circle mask. I really need an intervention on fonts since I cannot stop downloading them. Now I am looking for layered fonts because of Carole's explanation of how to use them.🤣

Wasn't this a movie or series on PBS, I think?

Carole, I made the background in Procreate and imported it as a png. I changed the color of the original to match a project that I am working on in Canva.

My youngest grandsons ski and the oldest snowboard. I used the younger ones since snowboarders haven't sent me any good pictures yet even though there is snow in the mountains near Las Vegas. The photos and background are my own. The snow was made with a cassel script and the flakes were made with a brush. The font is Christmas Flakes which is a free download. This mask was not my favorite since the pictures were too close to the edges.

I added shadow to the text which I think makes it stand out better. After converting the text to character shapes and duplicating, I colored the bottom letters and then moved the top letters which kept black slightly using the pick tool to expose part of the bottom layer.

I am continuing with the amazing food the my daughter and I had in Fredericksburg at an Italian-Mexican fusion restaurant. One dessert is a goat cheese panna cotta and the other was a chocolate pot with hazelnuts. The background is actually a wood background that I made, but when I used the textile fill, this is how it came out. The pictures and the arrows are my own. The black border is from Creative Fabrica. The font is called "Los Pinata" from Creative Fabrica. I converted the text to curves as character shapes, duplicated them and now I can't remember the next steps, but I know that I did not use stroke. I guess I will have to keep experimenting and save my steps.
