That's a wonderful page, Cristina. Great use of that template.

Annie, ditto to what Cristina said. :) And I, too, am an armchair traveler or should I say an Internet traveler.

Nice one, Annie. I like how you framed the page and the journaling with the cross stitch.

Thanks very much for the applause, ladies. I'm glad you gave us this challenge, Cassel. I'm pretty sure I've watched this tutorial before as it was bookmarked. It must have been a long time ago because I didn't remember a thing. LOL I'm planning on putting those lovely butterflies in a tube (I think there were 50, in all), but every time I make a tube, PSP freezes up for a long time. I know I'm going to have to reset PSP one of these days, but I just don't want to ::she said, stomping her feet like a toddler::

Love it, Annie!

I recently got these beautiful butterflies (freebies from DesignBundles) and I couldn't wait to use them. I think I did the interlacing properly. I kept moving the layers so I ended up with the promoted layer far away from the layer it came from. I don't know why I always make it harder for myself. LOL Font is Aphrodite Slim Titling and I used a brush from GVL (free on DeviantArt). I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

It makes me think of Matlock Island from the Thorn Birds (even though it was filmed in Hawaii.)

How do you make a l/o of brush fires look so sweet? The alpha is wonderful. I really need to make more time to spend learning on the campus. I've been busy trying to clean out my files. It's a Herculean task and feels like it's going to take me years! lol

Have a wonderful time, Marlene. I expect you'll be taking lots of pictures for future projects. Can't wait to see them.

It's wonderful how you used different beach-themed patterns behind the main picture. How did you get that effect on the text? Is it some kind of picture tube writing? It's gives the page a very interesting look.

Patricia, having grown up on the ocean and not being much of a swimmer, I can only imagine how frightening it must have been for you. I'm glad you can find the humor in it now. I have to admit I was cracking up when I looked at your page. Those are wonderful pics.

Sorry, Dawn, but it's always been The Beatles. :)
Jnet, thanks for your kind words and for noticing I flipped the stamps template to a portrait orientation.
I've been using Google Translate for a long time now. It usually works well enough, but sometimes I get some weird translations. LOL

Jnet, your page is simple, yet so elegant. Great job.
