Yes, I'm running behind, It's September already
The background is from Jessica Dunn. Font Futurex Vayager.
Last year I got a present from Mother Nature as a dove was breading in my bedroom window. An experiment to place different shapes made out of photos and add an edge around them. Father and Mother Dove are both breading by turns on the nest. So I figured it out. Father is having the night shift.
.
Having the photos in different shapes made it very interesting.

Hello, can one of you tell me what clue the following zip corresponds to: 12y-Puzzle-Piece-I.zip? I stumbled across this and wouldn't want to do this search again.
I believe that was Clue # 3. I ended up making a list one through ten, then putting the corresponding "letter" next to the corresponding number. I kept forgetting which ones I got and which ones I had to look for.

The main pic is from another great clip art collection from Creative Fabrica. I tried to make it look like I was using a mask. First I Gaussian blurred the background paper. Then I magic wand selected outside the clip art, inverted, contracted, inverted again, and applied a Gaussian blur. I'm sure there's an easier way to achieve it, but I was in a huge time crunch; I even missed my deadline by about 15 mins. I have no idea where I got the little grapevines in the corners and I added a few versions of my game avatar (my members like to see them). The title font is Morning Dew and the swash is Avelana Deco Medi.

W = Whole Beans. When I used to drink coffee, I always used to grind my own beans. My favorite was on Sundays when I treated myself to chocolate raspberry coffee. Yum, I miss it.

It was for the " Love Story Challenge" (2018). It has been renamed, and it is now "Masks Workshop".
Now I know why I couldn't find it! Thanks, @Cristina.

#9 was the most difficult for me. I knew what I was looking for, but I couldn't figure out where it was. How "about" that?

I found #2 halfway. For me, the nasty one was #7.
I had totally forgotten about #7. It took me a while before the light bulb appeared above my head.

I just did it and #2 was a head scratcher....until I looked down. Just have to assemble the puzzle and send it off. What fun this is.
Thank you, @Susan Ewart. I was scratching my head...until I looked down. LOL

Back down memory lane. In Lab 6 Mod 01 I learned how to make a seamless "cathedral window" pattern, a wooden frame, and a puffy paint look for the text. I really need to get back to the labs ... so much to do, so little time.

Digging into my own archives for this. It's from Lab 6 Mod 02 which taught me to make vector flowers, a string tube, and a hand-stitched alpha. I don't usually create complete layouts for Labs as I'm simply trying to learn the techniques.

That book is really great. Written by one who did grow up in Brooklyn. I spent my first 7 years in New Jersey (Just across the river from New York City) and remember going through the Holland Tunnel into New York City with my dad and mom. I remember seeing the New York World's Fair (1939); I remember Chile's Restaurant (?); I remember looking up at the tall buildings; I remember; I remember coming into NYC around Christmas time and the wonderful window and toy displays at that time (always love the toy trains); there were cobble streets when we saw the Macy's parade and my dad lifted me up on his shoulders from those cobble streets in order to see better.
Michele, you have put me on a memory lane visit .....
The Christmas windows are always awesome and there are still a few cobblestone streets.

This is one of my old projects from a 2018 challenge. Unfortunately, the original pics don't show in the older forum threads so we can't see the inspiration layout that Cassel posted.

I don't drink 'real' coffee but I have a lovely substitute - barley coffee which is called Orzo.
Sounds interesting. My stomach doesn't tolerate coffee anymore. I wonder if this would be easier.

I found this beautiful stained glass image in Creative Fabrica (can you believe it's meant to be a mouse pad?). I used it to make the background paper by applying 100 Gaussian blur on the original, adding the Mosaic Antique effect, and then another little blur. The text was made using the text cutter option for the font (Andalusia). Then Inner Bevel on both the text and the main pic.

I made the paper using what I learned in the Meli-Melo creative scrap tutorial and added a texture and some extra blur. Doing/re-doing these tutorials is really helping me. The font is Ambrogio and I used the Outer Bevel 3-D effect.
